    Sweet and Sour Chicken
    Ferren M.

Here is my decent review with a poorly taken picture attached. I meant to take another but after tasting my sweet and sour chicken I got a bit eager and just kept eating. This, along with the rice was quite good. I ordered off uber eats so I didn't get to see the ambiance of the restaurant and I can't judge the service, but I have ordered many times and my order has always been yummy and correct. Would reccommend!

We always order from the authentic Chinese food menu and it never disappoints. We've been coming for years and though different owners the authentic Chinese meals are always delicious!

    Pretty much just rice

Ordered chicken fried rice to go. It was so bland, flavorless, hardly any veggies or egg, sent away with no utensils that I had to stop and buy to eat this junk. I literally just paid $13 for just rice My first and last time going there!

Don't judge a book by its cover. This is indeed one of the most authentic Hong Kong style Chinese restaurant in town. It's better than many restaurants in la area based on its taste (not its presentation) Must order it's dim sum items. Saves the drive to Austin

The food was tasty and authentic. Portion size was big and the price was reasonable. It's also halal. Menu was big and it had traditional items too. The dinner entree also came with soup, egg roll and cream cheese wantons.

New owners the food does not taste the same. Meat tasted re-heated , fried rice was really Mexican rice, and rangoon was hard.

My favorite dish here is the duck three ways. Super fresh and hard to find anywhere else in town.

The chicken I ordered was crispy outside, tender and moist inside. I'll be going back soon.

The staff is super friendly and courteous :) ! We usually order the beef vermicelli soup, and a variety of dumplings :D ! They serve our food pretty promptly, with the soup still hot and tasty, and the dumplings steamy and savory :D ! My sister doesn't eat pork. So she typically orders dumplings that don't contain pork. I eat all kinds of meat. So I always order the pork and chive dumplings :D ! Whether you come in on a weekday or weekend, it always helps to come early if you can! If we want to go there for lunch, we try to get there as close to 11 am as possible when they first open. As it gets closer to 12 noon, it starts to get really busy, and it's harder and trickier for the staff to seat you. There is both booth and table seating. It's a great restaurant to catch up with friends, family or even colleagues over a good meal :) ! The parking lot out in front is a pretty decent size. But it can fill up pretty quickly when it gets busy! We also love ordering frozen dumplings to go :D ! For sure, we will definitely come back :D ! Kung Fu Noodle never disappoints :) !

Impressed is the right word for my experience!…read more Price point for the combination meals are amazing and portions are generous! I got the beef noodle soup with pork and chive steamed dumplings combination that comes with tea or soda. With tax, this is all under $20. The soup was better than what I've had in San Antonio and noodles were not too doughy with lots of beef. Pork chive dumplings were delicious! Staff was friendlier than other places that are asian own:). Casual place to eat with friends for great bowl of noodles and dumplings! I would come back to try other items off their menu. They have skewers as well!

Walked in and waited for a few minutes before someone handed us menus and told us to sit wherever. Just handed us menus...in a kind of "just go sit down kinda way". Not real friendly. The appetizer we ordered (veggie steamed dumplings) came out with one less dumpling than promised on the menu. My wife's noodles were nothing special, as was my spicy/numbing pot. I felt my pot in particular, was over-loaded with huge chunks of veggies that could have been better chopped as to be more manageable. More chicken and beef in that chicken and beef pot, too, please ... The person waiting on us, if you could call it that, was not personable and could not have cared less about interacting. His drive by meal drop-offs were the epitome of antisocial. Probably won't return.

I have been to this restaurant several times which I did like. It rank higher than the other few places available in San Antonio. The service is always good and from observing I see a lot of Chinese families visiting and chit chatting with who seems to be the owner. I do like that a lot! It gives a positive sign about the restaurant itself The portions are huge! I ordered the whole chicken? Sichuan style. I asked if it is the whole chicken I don't know if language barrier lol she did the sign of no no with her hand. It is actually maybe equal to 2 chickens! Not complaining! I was very happy with it! I will keep on returning to try more things on the menu
