The area doesn't look like the perfect side of town but I am here for the experience. The guy who greeted us was super friendly and we had a chat about Indonesia and Indonesian food. Food got to me very quickly from door dash and the price was extremely reasonable. The Rangoon and egg roll were delicious but the chicken in my sesame chicken was a lot of dark meat and not the best cuts. The flavor was good and I would go back but not go sesame chicken. read more

Guess it's under new management and employees because we did not enjoy it at all. We have been going here for years and it has always been good until now. One soup was warm and the other cold. Orange beef was way over cooked and hard(chewy) the rice was cold and egg roll was seemed to be twice fried. Garlic chicken was not the same and the rice,egg roll was the same as other plate. The only place to get authentic Indonesian food in San Antonio. Ask for what they have available because the Indonesian food is not listed on the regular menu. The food is delicious, service was great, and the staff extremely friendly. The place was extremely clean and not too busy for lunchtime on a Saturday. I had the Nasi Padang and the Satay Ayam. My daughter-in-law has been coming to this place since she was a little girl and she is now 22. She has been living in Alaska with my son who is in the military and this was her first go to coming home for a visit when I asked her or I could treat her to. We went there and everything was outstanding. Of course the service was perfect, and the food was divine. The food was so delicious. Started eating right away. Forgot to take a picture. For appetizers we had Cheese Rangoons which were excellent. We also had the barbecue rib selection which was also wonderful. For dinner we shared the fried noodles with vegetables and chicken. We soothed our dining pleasure with Hot Green Tea. Went in today and as I was waiting for a pivk up order (not mine..thank God!) I had taken a photo of an arrangement and when I put my phone down and looked again there was a roach on the arrangement. I let the guy and lady working know and then other patrons noticed what was going on as well. Owner isn't taking this seriously and prefers to call me a liar etc. No lies here. No need to lie. So I just reported this roach infested hole in the wall place to the Health Department. Hope you all REALLY DEEP clean this place or people will be getting sick etc. Take the mistake and fix it...not get on the review and call people liars. My family has been coming here forever. Last week we showed up and they were having some staffing issues. They were very transparent about this. Told us of wait times, and asked if we wanted to stay. For context, I got the mongolian beef, hunan shrimp and beef lo main. The mongolian beef is sirlion instead of flank steak, so theres no fat to hold the flavor and just taste like oily steak with onions and pepper paste. The hunan wasn't bad, but the ONLY vegetables they give you are a couple baby corn, tons of onions and green bell peppers with 6 micro shrimp.. I can understand if they are the regular sized shrimp, but the dried shrimp in ramen packets are bigger than what they give you. And lastly, the noodles, the noodles had no flavor other than grease, and a hint of fish sauce. Either the people who left reviews have never experienced real chinese, but trust me when i say you are better off at Panda Express.. i'm still here like wtf.. can i get my money back read more

I didn't think to take a photo of my plate because I was not sure what to expect as it was my first time here. I ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan, the lunch special came with soup and either rangoons or egg rolls, we did not wait a long time for either the soup or the main meal. It was a quiet little place with one waitress who seems to be handling the customers needs just fine on her own. Overall we find the food enjoyable but the fried rice needs a little bit of work, it was more like buttered rice instead of fried. We plan to eat here again sometime! read more
