The area doesn't look like the perfect side of town but I am here for the experience. The guy who greeted us was super friendly and we had a chat about Indonesia and Indonesian food. Food got to me very quickly from door dash and the price was extremely reasonable. The Rangoon and egg roll were delicious but the chicken in my sesame chicken was a lot of dark meat and not the best cuts. The flavor was good and I would go back but not go sesame chicken. read more

My daughter-in-law has been coming to this place since she was a little girl and she is now 22. She has been living in Alaska with my son who is in the military and this was her first go to coming home for a visit when I asked her or I could treat her to. We went there and everything was outstanding. Of course the service was perfect, and the food was divine. Went in today and as I was waiting for a pivk up order (not mine..thank God!) [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had taken a photo of an arrangement and when I put my phone down and looked again there was a roach on the arrangement.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I let the guy and lady working know and then other patrons noticed what was going on as well. We also had the barbecue rib selection which was also wonderful. For dinner we shared the fried noodles with vegetables and chicken. We soothed our dining pleasure with Hot Green Tea. San Antonio is not a good city for Chinese food. This place seems to be typical mediocre fare. Mediocre might be generous. It's not for me.

My family has been coming here forever. Last week we showed up and they were having some staffing issues. They were very transparent about this. Told us of wait times, and asked if we wanted to stay. We did. My parents got the combo fried rice, I got a bowl of egg drop soup. Everything was hot and delicious. The dining area was mostly full but very chill. It was a great experience. read more

Inconvenient but not the biggest deal so we went back. Once we got home the food was cold so maybe it could've been better if eaten fresh at the restaurant. The ribs and egg roll was the best. For context, I got the mongolian beef, hunan shrimp and beef lo main. The mongolian beef is sirlion instead of flank steak, so theres no fat to hold the flavor and just taste like oily steak with onions and pepper paste. The hunan wasn't bad, but the ONLY vegetables they give you are a couple baby corn, tons of onions and green bell peppers with 6 micro shrimp.. I can understand if they are the regular sized shrimp, but the dried shrimp in ramen packets are bigger than what they give you. And lastly, the noodles, the noodles had no flavor other than grease, and a hint of fish sauce. Either the people who left reviews have never experienced real chinese, but trust me when i say you are better off at Panda Express.. i'm still here like wtf.. can i get my money back read more

The best and most consistent American-Chinese food I've had in San Antonio. Takeout can run a little long when busy but it's worth the wait.

I didn't think to take a photo of my plate because I was not sure what to expect as it was my first time here. I ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan, the lunch special came with soup and either rangoons or egg rolls, we did not wait a long time for either the soup or the main meal. It was a quiet little place with one waitress who seems to be handling the customers needs just fine on her own. Overall we find the food enjoyable but the fried rice needs a little bit of work, it was more like buttered rice instead of fried. We plan to eat here again sometime! read more

I dunno if this is me, but two places in SA now have sent me what are clearly fettuccine noodles when I ordered lo mein. What the f@#$ is going on here? Am I crazy? Wife and I got entrees with appy and soup for a reasonable price. I asked for them to make my curry seriously hot and they dumped a shitload of pepper flakes and a whole pepper in it. I was pleased. The fettuccine noodles were bathed in oil, though. Kinda gross to look at, but when I mixed it with the curry, all was well. Egg roll was soggy AF because they stuffed it in the styro with my curry. Who does that? Aside from that, this place is solid value for the dollar. Portions are hefty and the curry was rich and tasty and had a nice balance of onions, peppers, and chicken. I always like them from old owners and new owners as well. It's good food! This is absolutely on of the best Asian places to eat!!! In addition they do not mind at all having to do curb-side. The owner and staff are super friendly and fun , yes I said fun it's a great experience when you go to a restaurant and they remember you and better still treat you like family... that is to say you laugh joke and enjoy the deliciously cooked food. In all honesty I have had only one bad experience with the food... but I eat there regularly so I know it was not there standard. But I returned and ... YELP back on par.
