My appointment was scheduled for 3:45 p.m., but I waited about 15 minutes before being seen. Initially, I thought the service went well. I understand that waxing may not remove every single hair, especially depending on the stage of hair growth, but I expected the majority of visible hair to be removed. When I got home, I noticed several long hairs between my labia that should have been waxed, along with a significant amount of remaining hair throughout the treated area. Considering I paid $75 for the service and left a $10 tip, I expected a level of service that reflected the $85 total I spent. Unfortunately, this experience reinforced why I no longer feel confident choosing European Wax Center. Each time I've visited one of their locations, I've left disappointed. I shouldn't have to go home and spend additional time tweezing and removing hair after paying for a professional waxing service.

This review is not for the owner- rather one particular worker. I have been coming to URS Threading for many years and have visited all of their locations. This is the first time I've felt the need to leave a negative review for this location (my 5th time here). I arrived at around 6:40 p.m. (the salon closes at 7:00 p.m.). A broad-built Indian woman at the front desk said she would do my threading. I asked her to start with my upper lip, and it was noticeably painful from the beginning, though I didn't say anything. What really concerned me was that she brought the thread inside my nostril while threading my upper lip. I immediately winced in pain. In all the years I've been getting threaded, this has never happened before. It felt very unprofessional and made me question her experience. She has no communication skills at all. The people who have helped me previously in this location were all nice. I told her what had happened and left immediately without completing the service. Based on my experience, I would not trust her with threading. Very unprofessional and unapologetic.

I went in knowing what type of facial I wanted and she recommended tweaks based on my skin health at the time and I'm so happy she did. It wasn't pushy and was actually cheaper than what I originally wanted which lets me know she moves with integrity. Her energy is so welcoming and personable and her skillset is unmatched. She straight up told me that the facials she provides are cute and relaxing but means absolutely nothing if my home routine was lacking. She helped me simplify my routine with products I already have and recommended others that I could get from a drug store. She didn't try to upsell me anything which is a plus though I did purchase a scrub from her worked well. Her recommendations were so good that I haven't been back in nearly 2 years. I have been coming here for years but I don't think I'll be returning anymore. Linda is the one in…read morecharge and the only one I came to trust to do my nails after many other wonky jobs from other staff. She's a good nail tech but very hit or miss. It usually feels very frantic and hard to relax with her answering phones, directing traffic, running back and forth to do another customers waxing etc. It's very hard to relax when someone isn't just taking it easy, focusing on your nails and giving full attention. All of that would actually be forgivable but the last few times my nails were just sloppy and unacceptable. After my previous visit last week ($70 acrylic new set- inc tip) my cuticles were not attended to and the very same day they were catching on my hair and threads because they were lifting and not smooth. I have an infant so I wasn't able to return until one week later. I came back and asked Linda to fix the worst of the nails, and she blamed my grow out for the issue and charged me for another fill for $45. And she said I don't want to charge you for the cats eye because it's only been a week! Lol like she was doing me a favor. That was my last time, I am done.
