This hit the spot for a cold day in Oregon. The portions were generous. I had to have my husband finish my pho bowl. He said his rice plate with pork/egg was delicious. We are gonna go back tmrw so he can get the vermicelli bowl and I want to try their beef rib with rice (also new on menu). We came for their soft opening today and the food was so good! We tried their Chicken Pho and Lemongrass pork Banh mi. The broth was amazing and the Banh mi was super good. The service was good and the ambiance felt family owned. We especially enjoyed their drinks! I got the Bac siu and my friend tried their brown sugar boba drink, I highly recommend trying their beverages out. As me and my children sit, and eat our leftovers I wish I had taken pictures of the food to post. This is the best the best pho and bahn mi I've had in a long time. And we eat Vietnamese food a couple times a week! And the owners were extremely friendly. We will be returning to seaside very soon for this spot. read more

Food is Amazing! We ordered way too much... if there is such a thing. We got the Spring Rolls, they come with peanut sauce. Cut and ready to share! The house special popcorn Chicken with crispy fried basil. Chicken is hot, crispy and seasoned so well. Was topped with light garlic powder & paprika yum! For the Banh Mi we got the Lemon Grass pork. Pork is tender. Bread is fresh and has a crispy bite. Last but not least we got the pork & rice dish comes with a bed of fresh veg. With the vinegar sauce to dip- so good! They have light music for ambiance but not loud at all. Family friendly. Staff all had smiles and I was checked on many times and given water refills. read more

Pretty descent Pho. Not the best I have ever had but the most expensive. A few tips to help them out. First you look closed from the outside. Walking up in daytime I couldn't tell if you were open. Second you should reduce the Pho size by a 1/3 and Reduce the Price. You're pretty much a lunch place and prices should reflect that. You are not a fancy sit down place. Pho should range from $12-$15. That is right about what you would pay at Nekst in Astoria. You could probably shrink your menu slightly to help lower costs. Ditch anything people don't order. I suspect tendon will not be very popular. The smaller the menu, the lower your costs. Your broth was OK but it seemed to be missing something. Maybe add more Fish Sauce? That's my 2 cents. If you fix your pricing I will go all the time but at $18.50 a bowl, it is way too expensive to go all the time. read more

Opening up a pho restaurant in a place with one on practically every corner, you'd think they'd aspire to be the best. But they aren't. Prices are standard, more on expensive side though. I came here to eat not chat. What really got me is at the end when I asked if there was hoisin & Siracha in the bag .... Which is protocol for bahn mi.. atleast at every other place I've been. She looked me dead in the eyes and said 50 cents. "For 1 siracha?" (Packet...sirachapackettt...yes.) the food is okay, my banmi is drowning in bread and I bit into a piece of cartilage typing that. Overall, if you have a bunch of money to spend and haven't experienced an authentic bahn mi, this would be a great place to go! Edit, she charged me for 2 orders of fresh rolls???? I ordered one, the peanut sauce is COLD. I've never seen such lack of effort anywhere, the chicken is burnt in my fresh roll. But it's okay because I have this cold peanut sauce to wash it down with. 1 more edit becuase I just spent $30 on a sandwich & fresh rolls. My husband and I love Pho Soup. We stopped at Phoholic for takeout. We ordered 3 orders of Beef Pho, with Sirloin cut meat, we asked for extra meat. We met the owner, he's incredibly friendly. After a nice visit with the owner, we left to our home in Rockaway Beach. Our friend is recovering from knee replacement, one of the orders was for him. The Pho was delicious, absolutely delicious and what we hoped for. Our friend agreed, and wished we had purchased an additional order. We highly recommend. The restaurant is clean, the people kind and the soup amazing. We will return, in fact my husband has a medical appointment in Seaside, so we are stopping tomorrow. We've been wanting to try this place since they opened...Man, were we disappointed. We ordered the Spring roll with grilled Pork Sausage, House Special Pho, and the combination Banh Mi. The spring rolls were not described as "fresh" I.e rice paper roll verses fried. And the Grilled sausage was a peace of lunch meat that looked like Spam just under the rice paper. They offered a variety of Bahn Mi (chicken, beef, pork, and Chinese Sausage) So we selected the combination assuming it was a combination of the four. But it was like a cold cut sandwich on a hoagie roll with pickled carrots and no jalapeño as described on the menu. What a disappointment I've had many Bahn mi(s) in the past, they were mostly on a baguette with fried pork belly or seasoned protein. As for the Pho it came in a large bowl and was a bit over priced. read more

The Pho is good, but they brought to me a missing items of my Pho, when I mentioned, they replaced and charge me extra $4. The other order which is pho with tendon and meatball, all we see is the meatballs, when I mentioned she said the tendon is really small and it's in a bowl. But it's okay since it not as a big deal until I need to use the bathroom and they showed me the bathroom is shared with the Subway sandwich store next door and smells all cigarettes and awful smells and the bathroom is not clean. As someone who was born and raised in Hawai'i and of Asian descent, with a LOT of experience eating (and cooking) pho both at home and from restaurants, this spot is LEGIT!! Service was kind and attentive, but the food speaks for itself! I've tried other pho places around here, and nothing has quite "hit the spot" like Phoholic does! Tasty broth, and perfectly made noodles and sides! Their taro bubble tea was also better than any other bubble teas we've had in the area! I just had pho here last week, and am about to head back for more today, and bringing more people!
