Wow, shocked at the extremely rude customer service. Called to ask about parts (was asking BECAUSE I'm not an expert) & was insulted in response. Specifically, the man on the phone yelled at me saying "No they don't! You don't know what you're talking about!" Umm well no shit Idk what I'm talking about, I never claimed to & obviously that's the reason I'm calling. Didn't even get to say much more bc the asshole immediately assumed I was done & quickly hung up before I could say much else. This was literally the entire conversation, he wouldn't even give me a chance to try & explain why I asked my question. I'm sorry but what the hell business do you have working in a customer service field if you're gonna expect your customers to have the same level of knowledge as you do. I dropped my iPhone and it landed in such a way that it not only cracked the glass but broke the display as well. It made my phone unusable. I needed a working phone for my work so I was searching for a place that could fix it quickly. Yelp to the rescue. Phone Doctors was a bit further than some other places but the reviews said he was fast. They were right. The Super Market is easy to find and he is right at the entrance. James was working on a phone when I got there and still he had me out of there in less than 20 minutes. I wish I could have taken a video of his work. There are so many tiny (microscopic) screws to work with. The phone looks brand new and the price was more than reasonable. I can not recommend him enough. 5+ star rating for sure. read more

Last week I reached into my pocket to grab my IPhone X and noticed it was off. I turned it on and the apple sign flashed on but the phone shut back off. It kept doing the same thing over and over before killing the battery completely. Of course my 2 year warranty just ended last month! I read online that people put their IPhone's in a bag of rice when they got wet and it would turn back on the next day. Even though my phone never touched water I decided to give it a try. Didn't work. The pone still would not hold a charge. I took it to Costco where I bought the phone. The Sprint store there said I had to take it to a Sprint store with a repair center. Closest to me is the one in Westminster. Went there and gave it to the repair area. The guys there said they thought it was an internal issue so I left it there for couple hours for them to work on it. After a couple hours I came back only to find out they could not fix it. At this point it would not hold a charge. Since my warranty expired and I didn't have insurance they said there was nothing they could do. They suggested the Genius Bar at the apple store. Took my phone to the Apple store in Costa Mesa. There the so called Genius plugged it into one of their computers and said the phone had no issues but it still did not work. They said it might be the battery. Left it there over night. Next day they said it was not the battery and that they could not fix it and it was considered a dead phone. They kept reminding me that I should've got the apple care when I bought the phone. There was noting they could do for me and I was out of luck. This phone was barely 2 years old! I yelped iphone repair shops and came across this place. Funny part about this place is its located inside the Arirang supermarket where I used to come with my parents all the time to shop and never noticed this place. Gave my phone to James the owner and he said he would take a look. I honestly didn't think he was going to be able to do anything but it was my last resort before trashing this phone and buying a new one. James said he thought he knew what the problem was. He said he the IPhone X has been having this issue. He opened up my phone and fiddled with a couple wires and got the phone to turn on! He was super honest and said he could replace a couple parts but it would be really expensive. All I really wanted was for the phone to turn on so I could take it back and trade it in. He basically did that for me and charge me $20! James was able to do what the "Genius Bar" at the Apple Store could not do! They told me it was a dead phone and there was nothing I could do. James fixed it in 30 minutes! Needless to say I got a new phone. I'm definitely coming here for all my phone repairs from now on. read more

When I went back to ask home what happened, he keeps telling me it's my fault cause I dropped my phone.. I dropped my phone more before replacement, but i never had issue. So rude.. Cheap glass protector that he replaced for me was the one that's broken. He needs to use better materials, not cheap screen or protector. I didn't want to blame him, asking to change to better screen, but he got so offended and saying he use only premium material.. come on... Just excellent! Based on other positive Yelp reviews I walked in with what I thought was a cracked lens glass on my Samsung Ultra 21. I thought, though, maybe I had put a protective cover over the multiple lenses on the back when I had bought it... but I hadn't been able to remove it. The repair stand is located just inside the mall/supermarket. There were 2 people in front of me and James very kindly acknowledged me right away and said it would be about 10 minutes. I gave him my phone and my name and I and shopped around a bit. When I returned he had just finished up with the others, and let somebody else waiting know that I was next - and he remembered my name - nobody ever remembers my name so that made me very happy. I explained that I thought perhaps there was a protective cover on the lense area but I hadn't had success removing it. He quoted only $45 to replace the whole back of my phone if that was necessary, but he investigated with a razor blade and his heater and was able to remove the cracked cover - yay! He spent the time to remove the protective cover and then said it was no charge. Wow! Unexpected & very much appreciated! He's very kind and professional. I cracked the screen on my Samsung S10 yesterday so figured it was time to trade it in to my phone carrier for an upgrade, only to find out they won't give any amount of credit for a cracked screen.
