***MILITARY PERSONNEL*** Stay away from this place. Extremely expensive and predatory. My daughter…read moregraduated naval boot camp and her phone screen was broken. We visited this business and initially all seemed well, he talked the good talk and mentioned since my daughter was military he'd provide a discount. Come to find out he inflates the prices for military personnel then provides a "discount" that actually ends up costing more than prices for the general public. A simple screen change/repair I've paid $40-$50 for the same exact phone but we were desperate as her phone was inoperable due to the broken screen thus leaving no other option since she was to ship out the next day. I ended up paying $150.00 after "discount". People like this should be put out of business taking advantage of our military members. Unpatriotic POS. If you have no other choice, do not go in uniform or mention anything about military as you will be charged more.

They tried to tell my son that he needed a brand new battery port for $130 and he went to another place and they simply blew out the dirt from his battery port and it worked fine and they charge him $30. When I called, the guy tried to tell me that that was not the safest thing to do and so that's why they didn't recommend it. Total scam.

I immediately filed a claim and my phone was scheduled to be delivered between 7pm and 9pm the next Monday. I also filed a claim at United Center and guess what... Monday afternoon they found my phone!!!! I immediately call AT&T and Asuruon and they tell me they can't intercept the order and not to accept it. So, I am driving home all happy and I call my son who is on the spectrum by the way and asked if he wanted Chili's for dinner. I told him to tell the agent the phone is no longer needed. Apparently, he had just signed for me thinking he was being helpful and ran to catch the tech who's name is Desiree by the way to tell her thats OK. Desiree refused to take the phone back ( my son handed the phone to me) and I shared that my son did not know what he was signing. She said she did not care that he had Autism, he is over 18. She refused to give me her name or her supervisors name and left my son distraught because he had signed something he didnt understand. This was truly an easy fix and a lesson for me to reinforce with ny son the importance of signing for something without understanding. Desiree needs some social skills and common sense training. Asurion needs a new policy and that is a multifactor check fir signatures! I am going to give them a chance to fix but I dont know how. Now, I have a phone that I have to return at cost and time. I am more disappointed in my exchange with Desiree because she intentionally did not provide her name, id number or any credentials and her response to my son's response was cold & heartles! I wish I could give them 0 stars! At&t just lost a 20 plus years customer

Customers Beware! This past weekend I went to get my S4 screen fixed and ask for a quote. I gave…read morethem my phone they looked at it...whispered to his manager and stated that he could fix it for $130. I ask how long would it take and they stated only a few hours (3 hours). So I decided to allow the business a chance. Big mistake. When I called 3 hours later, they stated my phone was ready and so I went to pick it up. Looked over my phone and seems like it was fixed. I asked if they could explain the 1 year warranted and he said that if I didn't like what my phone looked like or operated, that before I left the store he would adjust it. How is that 1 year warrant I asked. Some what upset, I went to pay and he rang me up for a total of I $190!! I was like, what happen to the quoted $130? He had me pull out the receipt that he hand wrote and pointed that the initial price was $130 and that didn't include $45 in labor fees! In the end it was my fault for not looking at the receipt before I left and allow them to fix my phone but wow that's some shady S**T. Couple of days later the responsiveness decreased drastically and now I get internal bumbles on my screen. I say again. Beware!

These people made me so angry, I created an account here just to warn people away from them. There…read moreare several kiosks in the Gurnee Mall with similar names all dealing in cell phone accessories, etc., but they are all owned by the same person. I bought an iPhone cover for my wife for a Christmas present 12 days before Christmas. When she opened the package Christmas morning, she discovered that the case was broken--the corner of it had been broken off, but was snugly placed inside the package and just fell off when opened. When I tried to return it on the 26th, I was first shuffled from one kiosk to the next in search of the 'manager'. When I finally tracked him down, he at first refused to accept a return of the case. He claimed that store policy was not to accept returns after three days. The receipt said, printed right on it, that I had 14 days. This lie having been busted, he then shifted. He claimed that it was "impossible" for the case to be broken in the packaging because all of the cases are "100% quality inspected". I told him, then, that some inspector must have missed this one because it was broken, and packaged that way. Again, he said that was impossible, then he got more personal. He told me that he didn't believe my story. Yep, he stood there and called me a liar to my face. The female employee working the kiosk there stood next to him and laughed at my frustration and indignation while he did it. Ripping people off by selling them broken merch is, apparently, just a game to them. I refused to leave, and he started to get nervous because customers were waiting and hearing the awful way I was being treated. Eventually, he broke down and agreed to exchange the broken case, but he only let me select from the cheapest rack of cases on display, claiming (again, this was *another* lie) that those were the only cases that would fit my phone. I wound up losing money on the exchange. Never, never, never buy anything from these kiosks. I could have gotten better service and return/replacement terms buying the case used online.
