This was a bad club, especially the owner's manner. Customers came here to have some fun singing with a live band. However, we were told by the owner that he wouldn't allow anyone else singing except his friends & family. My point was none of them was worth to listen to (killing us here & we almost fell asleep!). WTH? If this happened to be the case then the club shouldn't be opened to the public. Bad manner as well as the atmosphere! Don't come here if are looking for having some fun with friends & expect to sing! There are many other & better places. read more

I like the setting and the location, just don't like the cost of a water bottle $10 beside the ticket price. No room for tip for the server. PS. The water bottle is Kirkland Costco brand, lol. They advertised "Hát Cho Nhau Nghe", but when my friend asked the MC if he could sign up to sing, she said they dont allow customers to sing. Drinks are super expensive, $20 for a drink you could get for $5 elsewhere. The only good thing about this place was the band, but then the musicians just got up and walked off the stage whenever they wanted to refill their glass of wine, even if it was in the middle of a song. Probably not gonna come back here again. read more

This place is a rip off, we only had 10 drinks and the Bill came out 105.00. Music style was mostly for older generations ( VN Jazz styleish?) The Band was ok, Bleu in Huntington Beach is better. The service really SUCKS,,,took 20 minutes to get our Beers and they didn't have Heineken,,say they were out ( yeah right ). One thing, if a Business Lies about something that small, imagine the bigger stuff that they are not truthful about,,came last year, same bad service, gave them another try last night with a friend that's pissed off about the Bill,, this will be our last time stepping in that door. Not worth it, Too much HOLLYWOOD for a business. Di Nhau is more worth it, at least they got food and Heineken. read more

I've been here a few times. This place is a small theatre with about 85 seats. Each time we came was to support our friend singers. This place offers terrible service. Programs normally scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m. does not actually start until an hour later. The theater is very small yet he girls at the door can't remember seat numbers. They have to refer to their mobile phone to find customer seats and take forever to seat everyone ... very unprofessional. The food service is limited and very expensive... a rip off. We came here last night. Tbe sound system was not very good. We won't be returning any time soon. read more

The music here wasn't bad. But the service is something else! I thought it is quite a shady service. This was our first night we've been here. Hubby ordered a Vietnamese coffee, which was $20. The menu stated the next drink after that would be $5 for non alcoholic drink. My husband ordered an orange juice for me, which the waitress confirmed it would be $5. When we were about to leave 1 1/2 hr. later. The waitress placed a bill on the table for $43.50 with tax. I politely aked if she gave me the wrong bill. She said the price was for a bottle of wine. I told her we never ordered wine. Then she later said "oh, it was because we charged $20 for the first drink, one for you and one for your hubby". I thought this was clearly a cheating tactic! So my hubby can't order a drink for me? They made me buy my own drink so they can charge me $20 for a glass of orange juice !! Music was good, but we would never be back here again, I do not allow someone to rip me off like that. No wonder there were only 8 customers there on a saturday night. Now I know the reason why. My first time here, big disappointment, I don't sing but would love to listen to a friend of mine to sing, but was told by the waitress that Saturday no guest singing because they've their own singers for the night, If it was me who runs the place I would promote and make new customers feel welcome instead of making them to listening to horrible voices which they claim "singers" in the house... no wonder why it's Saturday and not many customers around... they seem not to care about "words of mouth" is more effective than advertising read more

Been to 3 shows at Lac Cam. Nice, plush place, chairs are comfy, decor pleasing to the eyes, good sound system and stagelighting. Very decent Cab for $7. There's not much the propietor can do about the restroom being sooooo close to the audience, but please grease that squeaky restroom door! Also, kitchen staff should keep quiet. The waitressess kept annoying me by going around and asking. It made me feel annoyed. Furthermore, they think this place is for high class? Nope! High class don't do it! High class people should be more polite to their customers. I just need a spot to enjoy the music and I already paid for the ticket. Why did they keep going and asking me around for "something" that I need. Well, I'm not a 3 year old baby. If I need help, I know how to ask them. It was so annoying last night. read more

I was at Lac Cam with my girl for a friend's concert . We had bought VIP tickets and was on front row . The concert was excellent we were enjoying it very much until we were interrupted at the middle of a performance by a lady to asked us if we wanted anything to drink ? She handed us a drink menu with no price on it ... Annoyed but we ordered 2 sodas . About 10 minutes later again during a performance she came back and gave us 2 small drinks in a paper cups and charged us $20 . I was shocked by the price but choose not to engaged and reluctantly paid . It was a Rip Off ... I won't come back here again !! read more

i first went to lac cam music during christmas time a couple of years ago. the musicians were incredible and it was one of the warmest christmas events i have ever been too. i have been several other times. this music is great and the owners are great musicians in their own right. they really care about music and try hard to present great singers and performances for the audience. it is a shame that more people don't know about lac cam because they don't know what they are missing. read more
