We used to come here but stopped for a number of reasons. First, we reserved their private room because some of our guests cannot tolerate smoke. I called and made sure that the room was secured and was assured that it was. When we came the room was given to a group who were the owner's friends. You can tell they were VIPs. The only excuse we had was that the employees got mixed up but we confirmed the date with the owner himself. One time we came the owner recommended us this fish dish. He made it sounded like it's so special. When it came, it didn't taste anything special. More like steam fish with some veggies and the worst part was, we were charged 70$ for it. I would not believe in anything the owner says going forward. Service at this place is not the best. It took a long time to get the attention of the servers and some have a bad attitude. The worst part is people smokes a lot in there. The food is good but not good enough for us to return. read more

You know you're in a legit OC Vietnamese place when the lighting is all neon and everything feels like family homemade. I picked this place on Thanksgiving dinner because it had great reviews on the food and i really wanted to try something different. The service was attentive, but also, typical Vietnamese restaurant where they won't bother you unless you ask for something. We also ordered the seafood hot pot (i didn't take pictures) which was super yummy! I had never seen fish paste be scooped after the table. The clams were so fresh! My mother ate most of the shrimp and so you know it was good because she just won't eat food she doesn't like. The salad was my least favorite dish only because i thought it was going to be cooked. We are a party of 26 celebrating October birthday babies . We were here on Saturday night , reservations at 8 pm . Highly recommend making a reservations for Friday, Saturday and Sunday night . Opens 10 am to midnight . Plenty of parking spaces available at night . It's a Vietnamese restaurant/ lounge / dancing / and Karaoke. A young gentleman waiter stand out to me the most , he wears a smile through out the night and have a great friendly demeanor. The other ladies waiters were serious stoned faced all night. A crowd pleaser dishes for all of us , bo lok lak , shaking beef with salads and water crest , delicious tender flavor beef. Their fried noodles with lobster was so good, the lobster cooked perfectly and noodles were Al dente just how I like it . The other two dishes we liked were herbs and onions Shredded Chicken salad and crispy fried chicken feet , also fried crispy tofu cubes with bits of lemon grass . A hit and miss for some of us were the fire pot clams soup , for me it didn't have much depth and a tad bit salty , for some they thought it was good soup . In my section of the table we had to send back our fried rice & eggs over sunny side up . The rice tasted burnt and had an unpleasant smell. The eggs were cooked over medium . They did brought us a replacement some times later , this time the eggs were sunny side up and the rice had a pleasant aromatic flavor. LV Restaurant has the best party trays! I ordered 5 trays for $300, and the portions were so generous--way more than other places. The Tôm Sốt Trứng Muối was the star of the meal--perfectly cooked prawns with an incredibly flavorful salted egg yolk sauce. The owner was so friendly and caring when taking my order, making the process smooth and enjoyable. For smaller gatherings or if you want to try more dishes, they also offer box portions, which is a great option. I'll definitely be ordering from LV Restaurant again for my future parties! read more

3/5 for food, however, we got take out which might've affected the quality/taste if the food as a few items were fried. We got 2 gois (mango and taro), fried softshell crab, glass noodles, garlic steak, and snail! If I were to order again I'd just order the soft shell crab, steak, and mango squid goi. The snail was on the slimer slide rather than crunchy, however, the sauce is super addicting! The ambiance of the restaurant was quite nice-- it had a night club feel to it. The prices for the food were reasonable. One item I'd like to highlight was the medium rare beef. Back in February this year 2025, we celebrate our Mom's 80th birthday at LV Restaurant and Lounge. I supposed to write the review back then but due to busy work, I keep forgetting until now so this review is a way to show our family appreciation to Mr. Luan Vu, the owner. FOOD. All the dishes were delicious, including fired soft shell crab with garlic butter. Served hot, crunchy, flavorful, ESPECIALLY the sauce that prepared to go with the crab. Excellent dish. Grilled Cod Fish seasoned with sea salt & chilli. Another fabulous choice. Can't miss the Sturgeon Fish Hot Pot with various vegetable. The broth taste great, the fish is fresh, firm texture and of course, yummy. SERVICE. not talking that Mr . Luan Vu prepared the dish by himself as a Chef, all the staff were very nice and helpful.
