Located right on Main Street across from Costco. I stopped by on a Thursday night and the place was fairly empty, with a DJ playing EDM (electronic dance music). The name and the vibe didn't seem to match. They have some happy hour drinks available after 7 PM, so I grabbed a glass of sangria for $5 and a plate of garlic fries for $10.50. It's definitely a plus that they serve food late, but the flavors were just okay overall. It was a decent stop, but it didn't really leave me feeling the need for a revisit.

Always a good vibe, the music rotation is always on fire even in the afternoon. Bartenders are always nice, Ehrik and Kalvin. The garlic shrimp was sooo good, can't wait to have it again.

Went here for the homie's bday. It's a modern-rustic looking pub serving up some nice Asian fusion dishes. Most of my friends got the Ribeyes, which they said they really enjoyed. I got the Steak Tataki and Tuna Tartare, which were delicious. Not gon lie though everything here is pretty heavily priced so prepare to spend big bucks. Servers were cool, chatted us up a bit as they were delivering our beer towers. Everything came out in a timely manner. I'd say this would be a great place to come back just for the drinks and small shareables

My friend was visiting from Seattle and was looking up places to take her since I'm not very familiar with the OC night life/scenery. So glad I took her here, it's a cute bar right in the middle of Main Street! They've got plenty of street parking and the parking lot in the back. Plays good music, good vibes. My friend spilled her freshly made espresso martini down my leg (yes the entire drink was full). The bartender made her a new one right away, which I very much appreciated. They make a great espresso martini. Would definitely return for more drinks and a good time.

Stopped by Aum Beer House for some drinks after dinner with friends. We loved the music, shoutout to Dj MAZD! Loved the vibe of Aum because it was as loud and fun as being at the club but you can order food and have your own space. We didn't order any food because we were still full but ordered a lot of cocktails. Our favorite cocktails were the Sunny Days and Mezcal Mafioso! We didn't have any issues with service. The team was always checking in on us and we didn't have to wait long for anything. Shoutout to Bryan!! We'll be back again and will have to try out their food next time!

Went in on a Tuesday, an hour just after opening and we were seated quickly and warmly. Plenty of seating and clean. Service was great! I would have loved to try their cocktails but ended up just ordering a matcha cream coffee. It was a Vietnamese coffee base with matcha cream on top. It wasn't too bad, 4/5! My other party members had the strawberry cream coffee and she really liked it. My other member had two cocktails, the Mezcal Matioso and the Spicy Daisy. He enjoyed both thoroughly. For food, we got the chips and salsa (3/5), garlic noodles with steak (3.5/5) and honey sriracha wings (3.5/5). If I was tipsy/drunk, these foods would have definitely hit but overall they were okay. The garlic noodles were good though! The flavor and texture were nice, but the steak was too peppery for my tasting and it was okay. When I gave some garlic noodles to my other party member to share, there was a piece of hair in it....we don't like making a big deal when it comes to these things, and we didn't notify the staff. It was whatever, but just a reminder to always check your food before you eat anywhere lol. Wings were just wings, can't go wrong with them. The chips and salsa were a bit stale. Regardless, I think I would go back here to just try their cocktails.

Aum is better known for being a lively Vietnamese bar/lounge to hang out with and drink with friends at night BUT I'm here to talk about their food. It's always so empty when I show up for weekend lunch and it's a shame because their food is amazing. They serve traditional Vietnamese foods, but with an elevated and modern twist. And they have other delicious Asian fusion dishes on the menu. My go to is the shrimp and crab udon (banh canh cua) that is served pot pie style with a golden and buttery crust sealing the noodle soup inside. It makes for such a delicious experience to crack open the crust to reveal the steaming soup inside. The breakfast skillet (banh mi chao) is probably one of the more popular menu items and rightfully so. The savory flavor from the meat drippings and pate all blend so nicely with the egg and tomatoes. The mini baguettes the dish comes with are so cute and both crusty and fluffy; perfect for soaking up all of the sauce. I've also tried and enjoyed snow crab meat salad with crispy rice. It's a large appetizer for $16! The salmon in red curry sauce is a delicious Thai influenced dish if you aren't craving Vietnamese food. The menu is quite vast and has a lot of food and drink options to please any party. I can't wait to come back here for the good food, drinks, or fun atmosphere at night to hang with friends.

Came here before a concert event at the garden grove amphitheater. The pictures and cocktails looks good on the picture. I am giving this place 2.5 stars since the food was good tasting. Food is not 3 star because the Hainan dish was misleading. Service alone is less than 1 star. Service was very inattentive. They were putting the plates and utensils for all the empty tables and they didn't even bother giving us plates and utensils. We ended up grabbing the set next to us. They didn't get my order right and it was t even a busy night. Most the servers were standing around. We ordered the Philly cheese steak eggrolls, birria queso tacos, hainan rice and shredded chicken, garlic pasta with mushroom, and clams and chorizo and loaded fries. The appetizers were good. The hainan chicken was Misrepresentation because it's goi ga salad with white rice nothing hainan chicken about it. The clams were basic and the noodles were lackluster. Loaded fries I had better elsewhere. I ordered the carajillo cocktail and the served me espresso martini... not sure I will be returning here.

    Hawaiian Garlic Shrimp

Wow I'm surprised they're able to replicate the famous garlic shrimps that I always crave in Hawaii. This will definitely be one of my go to spots. Love the flavors and ambience here. Service can be spotty at times but overall no real complaints. The food is definitely not to be overlooked and I highly recommend you to check this place out for some alcohol and some good food with great vibes. They also have live music entertainment.

This was a nice surprise! Went here to celebrate a colleague's promotion. I must say, enjoyed it more than I expected. It's a twist between a pub/restaurant. Nicely decorated on the inside. Paloma was quite tasty here. Think we ordered 6-7 of those, and during the hours of 1 pm-3 pm. It's one of those kinds of fun days. We ordered family-style and passed the plates around. Had a chance to sample various dishes which is always a fun thing to do. It had a Vietnamese fusion style that worked well. The Shrimp Garlic Noodle was good. The shrimp wrap went quickly! Think everyone liked that dish. Good texture and flavor. The rice wrap balanced it out well. Heard nighttime is another vibe happening here. If you're looking to get drinks and hang out, this seems like the spot for the nightlife. Overall, a great spot to grab drinks and bites. Looking forward to the next visit.

    Sunny Days

First of all, I just want to say that service here is not that great, but the food made up for it. Upon entering, no one is there to greet you, you basically have to walk in yourself and try to get the attention of a staff member. If you're going to the bar that's cool, but looking for a place to sit down for your party is a different story. We got there and was rushed by the staff stating that if we didn't place our order within x amount of minutes the menu was going to change to dinner and whatever we were looking at wouldn't have been available. But yet we couldn't find our waiter and had to place an order with someone else. I don't know if I would consider this a fusion place, though I know it's Asian/Mexican cuisine inspired. The menu is online via QR code. The menu was annoying as they had certain menus for appetizers/lunch/dinner/drinks and I felt it could be confusing. We ended up getting drinks and an entree each and fries to share. The Sunny Days drinks was one of my favorites. It was refreshing, crisp and exactly what I needed to whine down on a weekend afternoon. We got a chicken with fried rice plate, and garlic noodles with steak. The chicken was roasted to perfection. The skin was crispy, the inside flavorful and moist. The fried rice was a combination of sweet and savory, definitely my favorite meal. The garlic noodle and steak was only decent to me. As I felt the steak was dry, and garlic noodles didn't have much garlic flavor and overly oily. We never got our truffle fries and when we mentioned, they stated that theres a chance they wouldn't even make it for us since it's now past the lunch menu time. We had to let them know that we indeed ordered during lunch time and they said they'll see what they can do. Instead of asking us if we wanted them still, they brought it out to us after we were already done with our meals and drinks. It was a smart way, got us ordering another round of drinks just to have with our fries. I wanted the butterfly pea coffee, but they ran out. I asked for the purple yam coffee...they also ran out. I just stuck with the hazelnut coffee. Unfortunately I don't think it was "Vietnamese" enough for me as it tasted mostly like hazelnut milk. The fries weren't very truffly as well. Overall, beautifully decorated, nice chill vibes, good food, great drinks, poor service.

Oysters, chicken cartilage, truffle fries, margaritas
    Vivian T.

Great place to have some drinks with friends and chill! The decor is cute and the food is great. I recommend the chicken cartilage, raw oysters, and the truffle fries as appetizers and the specialty margaritas. Everything was fresh and the restaurant itself was clean. They have music events on certain nights too. Had a great time here and would be back!

Salted cream Vietnamese coffee: Perfect pick me up and it tasted freshly brewed like a pour over 4. Classic egg sando: My cousin and I made room for this fluffy goodness. I've always watched people eating egg sandos on social media and I have yet to try one like this. This was a perfect balance of egg salad ans bread. 5. Corn cheese cookie : I figured my cousin would like this, but I was surprised how you could taste the corn cheese in it. It was consistent throughout. 6. Matcha white chocolate cookie: This one was my favorite. Perfect balance of matcha with the sweetness of white chocolate. 7. Strawberries & Cream cookie: I was surprised that this wasn't overly sweet. 8. Walnut Chocolate Cookie: The walnuts gave the cookie a crunch and balanced out the chocolate goodness. Overall, everything we tried was amazing and I can't wait to come back soon and try the other items they have. I highly recommend this place, and suggest coming early.

I've been meaning to try Kei Coffee House after a lot of people were mentioning it and glad I had…read morethe opportunity to! I came on a Friday around 1pm I think? There wasn't too much of a wait at all, and there was plenty of seating. I really adore the interior and appreciated how clean it was. It is a comfortable spot to chat or to study! I originally came to try a drink, but somehow, I landed myself on their pandan coconut soft serve instead haha I really liked how they had a lot of unique flavors for their soft serve options! (*note, you have to order the soft serve with the counter instead of the self-kiosk) The pandan flavor was good and there were nice coconut flakes and meat in the middle of the ice cream! I wish there was a bit more in the size, but it was solid. I tried my friends' drinks; I forgot the flavors D: But they were alright. Would come back again to try more soft serve flavors haha

I saw a video of a grandma singing Happy Birthday to her golden retriever in a park and immediately…read morethought, "Yeah... my dog deserves better production value than this." So I did what any responsible dog parent would do -- grabbed a box of Porto's and pulled up to Café 168 so my 5-year-old golden retriever, Brady, could experience the kind of birthday energy usually reserved for legends and retired athletes. The staff didn't flinch. They understood the assignment immediately. While dressed in their normal, confident, high-energy work attire, they sang happy birthday like Brady just signed a max contract. My dog sat there completely unbothered, soaking in the attention like a furry celebrity who's been famous since birth. Tail wagging. Chest out. Eye contact locked. This man really thought the celebration was for him -- and honestly? It was. If you're looking for a place that supports emotional healing, elite-level dog confidence, and unhinged yet wholesome chaos... Café 168 is that place. Brady left emotionally fulfilled, spiritually elevated, and 100% convinced he runs this city. Five stars. Would absolutely do it again. Probably for his half-birthday too.

First time visiting Cafe 168 since prior to the pandemic... before the pandemic, I came here…read moresemi-regularly. First impression was, I don't ever remember the place having such a strong odor of smoking permeating the air. If you have to go home to a significant other after visiting, you are likely to have strong smoke odor about you... that may or may not make a difference in your plans. Second, on a random Tuesday afternoon at 1 pm it was pretty busy, maybe 75-80% capacity? Only a few tables were available. I got lucky and got a table with good AC blowing on it next to the aisle where the girls walk back to the kitchen to fulfill customer's orders. Nice view as the girls continuously walked by. Four girls were working, some Asian & Latina girls and 1 curly-haired girl who was either mixed race(?) or Latina(?)... doesn't matter as she was gorgeous, with a very pretty face. Customer crowd was approx. 90% Asian and the rest Latino... I was "the white guy." That doesn't really bother or make a difference to me, except I felt invisible/ignored by the girls who were chatting and talking with all the other customers and walking right by me without even glancing in my direction (including girls I tipped when they refilled my tea)... I read another review on here that said the girls ignore everyone but the regulars, which may be true, but I have noticed this same pattern at other Vietnamese coffee shops as well... I was a regular before the pandemic here and still seemed to be ignored backthen as well. Not sure what to say except I always make certain to tip well, so it ain't that... Anyways, as others have noted, girls are quite attractive overall. Coffee is decent. Prices are pretty standard fare for an establishment of this type ( I would have given 5 stars if girls were more social/talkative with me. Even so, I will go back and try again.
