Kind excellent service! Photos were printed beautifully and on time . Very happy I found thi spot to process disposable camera film.

The owner turned 2 decades-old 35mm slides into clear, high resolution images!!! He is SO nice and helpful that I can't wait to find more slides to have him work on!!! He cares immensely about the quality of his work and was a little disappointed that he couldn't get the image perfect. It wasn't his fault; the image was too dark. He did the best he could and It turned out wonderful!!! I'm bringing all of my photo projects to Photo Experts!!! There's free parking too read more

Great place for passport photos, as I was recommended by some other Canadian friends about Photo Experts. There's really no point in taking risks with Walgreens or CVS when it comes to international passports, so I was ok with paying a bit more money to get it done here. The owner was super knowledgeable, had all the sizes already for each country on his PC, and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. My cost was $30 for my two Canadian passport photos, but the owner guaranteed they would work or he would retake them for me. Can't be that, I'll be recommending them again in the future. read more

Great for Canadian Passport Photos. $30 for two, but they're guaranteed by the owner to be accepted or you can come back for free. He was prepared with a black blazer when I showed up accidentally with a cream shirt on. Not worth taking a risk someplace less knowledgeable to save a few bucks. read more

Quick and easy. Parking can be a pain cuz it's a strip mall. Park on the street. Overall the photos turned out great. I wish he asked me right away if it was digital application or print so i wouldn't have spent an extra $15 on printing photos. Nevertheless, high quality! read more

I walked in with a very old disposable camera and they were able to develop it. They provided the digital photos within a week. The man at the counter was also very friendly and helped to keep a couple of young kids entertained while their father took care of the business he was there for. I would definitely return. read more

Came here for the passport photos ( previously I went to the now shut Santa Monica Camera on Wilshire and 7th ) and all went well with a good photo set, knowledgeable service, price and well behaved pet dog in the store. read more

Come here if you need passport photos for other countries and the USA. Accepted by Australian consulate after they rejected photos from CVS ,UPS. He takes multiple pics, uploads them on his computer and you can pick the one you want and he sizes them to the correct specifications. A very pleasant experience . Easy parking too. read more

Save yourself time and get your passport photos taken here. I went to berry photo and my photos were rejected. Came here, lovely guy, sooth sailing. Photos accepted. read more

I came in for passport photos. Was happy with the photo/pricing and the service was quick and simple. Unfortunately, both sizes I purchased were denied because the dimensions of my face didn't fit the specifications. I called to let the owner know that maybe his template was off. He told me that wasn't possible and that his photos are good, despite them not being accepted. Frustrating experience overall. read more

On time, quick, easy and friendly! Got exactly what I needed. I highly recommend, totally great experience.

This place does a bit of everything, I was send over to have a money order made. Not a place of my choice, but I had to do it right then and there for a Consulate located inside the same building. When we went in, there were no customers, two people working there, one browsing Amazon, one on the phone. I asked for help, I was told to wait for the guy who was on the phone. The conversation didn't seem to end, it was hot inside the place, no AC, it didn't matter that I stood there for a while, waiting. I was helped after a while (they charge $4 for a money order), with no apology for the wait. They do photos here (passport, etc), notary services, a bit of this and that. As a customer, I didn't feel respected at all, and that matters, so not a place I'd recommend. read more

Great experience, Cameron was very knowledgeable about the specific requirements I needed for my passport photos. I must have called at least 10 other photo stores and they weren't able to help. Photo Experts was quick and easy! read more

Don't be fooled by the name, as these are quite clearly Photo Amateurs. I brought two rolls of E-6 slide film to be processed and scanned. These ignorant chumps did not read the film cartridges and instead processed my rolls as C-41, essentially ruining the film. This film was shot in Paris. The trip cost nearly $3000. Words can't accurately capture how furious I am at this lab. Never again. If you're a serious photographer I recommend taking your business to Samy's Camera in Culver City. read more

We have come here for passport / visa pictures as well as notary services a couple of times recently. Cameron is very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend. read more

Literally the only place to get your pics for Dutch passport or any passport. Friendly & swift service

Getting my passport photos taken at Photo Experts again. Service was fast. Kamran was nice and efficient. Yes, the price is steep here but the quality of work maintains over the years. read more

Came here for notaries. I called Karman just before the store was about to close and he was patient enough to wait for us to get there. Professional and kind. Definitely recommend this place for notaries Ps. Parking is free with validation. read more

Kamran is highly knowledgeable, flexible, and efficient. I needed a specific size photo for some travel documents. When it turned out that I had some issues with the photo, he really went above and beyond the level of service I ever imagined. He's also friendly and personable. Highly recommend. read more

The service is friendly. 4 passport pictures for 21USD. It's a bit pricey, but there isn't much choice around this area to make Dutch passport photo's. So, highly recommend this place to all the Dutchies. read more

I have been here twice and both times the service was good, courteous, and accurate. I never had issues with my passport photos and the price is reasonable at $19.50 total. read more

He missed the season premiere of Breaking Bad to do our last second Australian-sized passport photos, even driving half an hour from his house to the office. Enough said. read more

The best place you should go for passport photo. I was kind in an urgent condition and it passed 6pm already, the owner told me to get there because he was still doing paperwork. Then I just go. He was very nice to ask me what size do I want, and explain the different sizes between different countries. The most important is, he was very professional! The photo quality is extremely high. It takes your face very very comfortable. (Actually, I like the passport photo of me more than the mirror!) I would highly recommend everyone get there, since he would make your passport more than perfect. Trust me, I would not receive any commission or kickback by writing that. read more

Simple. Professional. Quick. Great customer service! Reasonable prices! I walked in to a typical studio but felt like I walked out of my uncle's home! He was so nice, professional, and great at what he does! Don't go anywhere else for your passport or visa photos. He knows everything about regulations and what needs to be in a photo for any country! I didn't like the first set so he took the photos again. Still didn't like my face, but they have yet to create a camera that fixes that blemish! So I went with the second set, cause my vanity only goes so far. There was nothing wrong with the photos or quality of work. Everything was excellent and it cost me $16. Yeah, I could probably find cheaper, but I'm paying for service and detail.... which I definitely got! Park in the lot off Stoner Ave, where the Pavilions used to be. He validates for parking. I'll definitely go back for any type of face shot! Passport, visa, dating profile, etc. :-P read more

Tried to get a passport photo taken at CVS... it was terrible. And still 11 bucks. I decided I didn't want to have a terrible picture of myself in my passport so I went to this guy. He's nice, professional, and takes pride in his work. He kept track of all the reasons passport photos got rejected in the past so he wouldn't make the same mistakes again (Canadian passport photo regulations are much trickier than you think!) He pointed out that if I wore my white polo shirt, I had a chance of getting rejected (and there was nothing like that on the passport website) so I borrowed one of his jackets to take a proper photo. It's best to go to someone with experience and skill for these types of matters. He saved me the hassle of doing it all again a few months later and the photos turned out well. Good job and good guy, can't complain. read more

Used them twice for passport and visa photos. Pros: Professional, experienced and guaranteed to work or they will do it again for free. And they validate parking. Cons: None. read more

- free parking (ticket validation) - quick and simple process - good knowledge with passport photo criteria from various countries recommend! read more

Fast, friendly, professional and reasonable pricing. I needed a head shot for a business publication immediately. No problem. My picture was much better than just a passport photo. Kamran took the time to get it right. They are experts in passport and other photos. Aspiring actors and actresses should go elsewhere. read more

They seem professional, and got my photos and shipping label within 10 minutes, so cant complain about that. However took 1 star because of (weird)(high) pricing. A. High pricing B. Weird pricing, friend who recommended this place went two weeks before me for the EXACT 100% same things, yet a different amount to pay. ( and its not just a few cents ) Very Curious about the pricing here, no information anywhere, seems its just random. Suggestion, next to being fast and professional i strongly suggest you be fair and OPEN in pricing, aka have the info online or have a price list in the store. read more

My son needed a UK passport pic for his visa application. I called and this very nice man gave me a quote. We went in and I was a little hesitant because he only had a sign covering another sign and a handwritten one on the door. We went in to find his dog barking at us but little Winston was adorable and the owner was so nice. He sat my son in the chair and knew exactly what the UK requirements were, even to show his ears which my son did not know about. He not only knew the measurements but also the distance from the chin to the bottom of the photo. He was very nice to deal with and the price was cheaper than the other places I called. Highly recommend! read more

Way too expensive for the job he does. I had no time to look for another photo shop so had to pay $25 for 2 pics. Didn't like the picture had to do it gain but it was the same. Didn't want to redo it cause the process of looking at it was taking too long. Photographer himself is very slow. Won't come again for sure. read more

I had to get Canadian passport photos done. Mr. Benham was very friendly and knowledgeable about the process--no problems at all! I had originally gone to CVS to try to get the photos done, and it was a huge headache and failure, so even though going to Photo Experts was more expensive ($30 for the two photos), it was worth it. read more

Mr. Benham was very friendly. We went to him on two separate occasions to have our visa photos taken for the Netherlands, Italian and the UK. He is familiar with the current requirements for european and US photos. Prices are in the mid range but worth it if you want to avoid headaches. He will correct any mistakes or re-do your shots if necessary. So far we haven't had to. read more

Came here for my Canadian passport photo because the other place in SM just happened to be closed for family emergencies. My passport renewed with no problem -phew! I took off one star because it is insanely expensive ($30) for 2 little photos printed on photo paper (I'm a designer so anything to do with printing raises my awareness). This could've easily been done for less than $10 in Canada, although I do understand I'm in another country. read more

1) This place was hard to find if you are accessing it from Wilshire Blvd, as you have to pass through several hallways, and no signage is visible from the street or the main building entrance. 2) The service itself was fine. 3) I paid $16+ for two passport photos. Only needed one, but they are sold 2 at a time, as is the case elsewhere. Now passport photos are in general a huge racket. As the gentleman at the store acknowledged, the cost of producing 2 passport photos is a few cents. In the past, I have paid $6-8 for passport photos, and been similarly pissed at the arbitrary cost of a 2x2 compared with other sized photos, when the issue is simply one of photo cropping. But $16? Outrageous. read more

Needed passport pictures, charged $32 for 6. I wish I knew that fedex across the street charges half of that. This business gets away with charging exuberant prices for passport or visa pictures because of the number of embassies and consulates in the building, but 32 bucks is way too much. Just cross the street or walk a couple of blocks and you will get the same job done for around $10. read more

Great customer service! I got my passport photos in less than 5 minutes and the price for 4 photos wasn't that bad either ($21). Validated parking right outside. Highly recommend! read more

I called Photo Experts 15 minutes before they were closing to see if they could fit me in for a passport photo. I had just come from another passport place and my picture was horrible -- the coloring was poor and I didn't even look like myself. I figured I'd try Photo Experts after reading all the positive reviews on Yelp. They surpassed my expectations. Kamran was so nice and offered to stay open late to accommodate me! He proceeded to take as many photos as I wanted until I was happy with one, uploading each batch to his computer and letting me choose between the various options. The coloring was great. I couldn't believe I actually had a good passport photo. I highly recommend this place for photos! read more
