Brisket & ribeye pho, gyoza, Vietnamese coffee
Alexandria C.

Im telling you this now hands down the best pho place in Toledo Ohio. Only thing I really wish they had was authentic bahn mi on the menu . & not the weird crouton versions. If you haven't been yet GO! The ambiance is casual enough for a lowkey date or lunch with dad. I believe the owner is the pho Vietnam couple's son.Truth be told he does it better than they did & that's not an insult just a testament to how good the place is. Come hungry & come patient because there's usually only one waitress.

There was nobody here when we arrived, so the hostess, let us sit wherever we wanted. I ordered the special combination pho and my husband got the chicken pho. The food came out quick. The broth was rich and full of flavor and the portion was decent. I think I might've reviewed this place before ,a couple years ago. They still have the weird little spoons. Come on has nobody told them that these ladles are too big for a bowl of pho. I also don't like the fact that they don't have any real spice to kick up the heat in my soup. They have Sriracha and chili paste, but I'm looking for dried ground chili peppers. The menu is still small. Even though I liked my soup, I feel like the menu needs improvement and maybe they could offer more authentic dishes. Bahn mi sandwiches would be a great addition.

Still a family fave. A great way to kick off 2026. We had 6 adults and 2 infants and went as soon as dinner opened at 5PM. They even have a Kids Pho which was a hit with the 20 month old twins. Service was great even after it got very busy and they keep things clean and tidy. The staff really hustles and the food is delicious! We love it!

Based on on visit. We each had a bowl oh Pho Noodles, one single meat (rare Phox) and the other a duo (multiple meats). We also had an appetizer (Bahn Mi Bites, 3 per order, pic shows two because I ate one before taking the picture :) ) which was pretty good. The service was friendly and although the restaurant was in a plaza, it had a nice feel/vibe. You order at the table but pay when you leave which is unique (rather than pay at the table). Overall, worth a try.

Good phoking stuff. Munchy Meatball "made fire." Go ahead..."Photo Is Not Helpful."

*** UPDATE *** Having come here about 5 or 6 times in the last year, I can say that having consistently great product has earned Phoxy Pho a 5th star!! These most recent two trips in were notable for three reasons: 1. Waitress Mariah. Pretty amazing. She got our complicated order perfectly (twice) without writing anything down. Fast and friendly. 2. My wife was able to order the vegetarian pho without the noodles; (watching her calories). Although ordering Vietnamese noodle soup WITHOUT the needles may seem weird, it worked well for her. The kitchen just added extra veggies and it came out "perfectly." 3. If I'm not mistaken, a few Asian beers are now on the menu. *** ORIGINAL REVIEW *** "You've got to be all mine, all mine Phoxy Pho Here I come, baby I'm comin' to get ya!" So, those might not be EXACTLY lyrics that Jimi Hendrix wrote, but if Jimi would have eaten here, he would have. Pho: Excellent. Most excellent indeed. The rich flavors are undeniable and the ingredients, including the chicken and the beef, are high quality stuff. Appetizers: Meh. We had the banh mi bites. My son loved them, but I didn't. I'm not a HUGE fan of bruschetta, and that's, basically, what these are. Pate? Nope, not for me. The grilled garlic pork skewers? Not bad, but they didn't rock my world, either. Next time (and there WILL be a next time) the Gyoza will be on my agenda. Drinks: Pomegranate pop and Thai iced tea? The tea was fantastic. The pop was cool, too. No alcohol. Service: I was surprised that the PP was quite full on a Sunday afternoon. The service was friendly and accurate, albeit a little slow. However, considering the ratio of waiters to customers (1 to about 20), Cody, and the cook/owner, did an excellent job. Ambiance: Not bad at all. Clean and comfortable. There's a little "bamboo and vines" here, a little neon/LED there. And, there are a couple of bars to sit at if you're dining alone. Will we be back? Absolutely. The main attraction, the pho, was excellent, and there are plenty of other things on the menu that sound, and look, great. 4 stars for now, with room for a 5th!! And by the way, if "pho" is pronounced "fuh," the how is "phoxy" pronounced?

This place has been on my list for quite some time. They had a great menu for food of course, but I noticed they also offered an amazing drink menu as well. We ordered three shrimp appetizer to test out and then ordered our Pho. I I was very happy with that flavor, but I was hoping the sauce options would've been a tad more. We were given a small ramekin, but had to ask for extra to et the flavor to perfection. The pricing was fair and the inside was very inviting. Great place for Pho.

The owner was super cool. Very friendly and personable. My server Moriah was also super cool and down to earth. I enjoyed my Pho Tai very much. The ambiance was very nice as well. They know what they are doing and I highly recommend.

Upon arrival, my party of 2 waited at least 20+ minutes as there were a few groups ahead of us. There's no way of knowing who was there first until the waitress/host ask who's next--which was very unorganized. At least 3 tables left while each group continued to wait--seems they are shorted handed as there was only one waitress and no host. We kept it simple and ordered the Phoxy Pho Special and the broth was excellent, but I wouldn't order the Banh Mi again. There's no comparison to an actual Banh Mi sandwich-- I probably wouldn't order it again.

Amazing food, and great owners. The Fire Fox (bun bo hue) is world class. Can't recommend it highly enough.

For Toledo it's ok and I may be biased. I preferred pho noodle and I didn't like pho Vietnam at all. For those who don't know the owner of phoxy pho is the son of the owners of pho Vietnam. The broth is good, the portions are large and the dumplings are super delicious. Why 3 stars? Because you're nickled and dimed with every extra you ask for. You get a small amount of hoisin and sriracha sauce to share and a half of a lime wedge. Need more? That'll be a dollar and a full lime. A full wedge would have been fine. The place is trendy and I get the aesthetic but give me a good broth and access to the sauce bottle over tiki art and bamboo chairs.

Do you love Pho? If so, you *have* to check out Phoxy! The broth is divine, the toppings and proteins are fresh, and the noodles are perfect. The appetizers and sides are just as delicious, and everything is served with a friendly smile, coming from both the wait staff, as well as from the kitchen. While the location is a little off the beaten path for some in Toledo, it's super easy to get to from pretty much anywhere, there is plenty of parking, and the prices can't be beat. Honestly, this was *way* better than we expected, from the atmosphere to the food. Highly recommended!

They'll take your order to your if you eat in. The soda machine was wonky. It's one of those digital ones and it took two or three tries each time I wanted it to pour. This built up a long line at the soda machine. My wife had the pesto cavatappi and it was pretty good, if a little too creamy and bland. I had the Japanese flat noodles with steak and it was better than average. My kids got the mac and cheese and as you can see in the pic, it's a little under sauced. The menu choices are more interesting than your average fast food place and the product itself is fine. The issue is the price. I'm aware of inflation, but $44 to feed two adults and two 4 year olds is a lot. If the food were stellar or super filling, fine, but it was not. The kids meals were $7 each! I have been to Noodles and Company once or twice before and remember liking it better. I think this place is a few improvements away from 4 stars, but for now, it's just fine. Come for variety and everything else is acceptable.

Then the food hits, and you realize: oh, this is a destination. The space is tiny--tiny. Every time the front door swings open, a blast of outside air rushes in like it's trying to join the waitlist. Seating is scarce, but the whole system works: packed room, fast service, no panic. A strange harmony. Everything feels made with intention. Drinks were built one ingredient at a time, syrups clearly homemade. My black garlic ramen was absurdly good: deep, rich broth, perfect pork chashu that I'd happily eat by the pound, fried garlic that hit just right. The Taiwanese popcorn chicken? Unreal. A whole meal disguised as an appetizer. My wife doesn't like dark meat--fantastic news for me. I inhaled the entire plate like it was my birthright. Service was warm, calm, human--no chaos, no weirdness, just a kitchen pushing out nonstop greatness. We'll be back, no question. For my taste buds, this is some of the best ramen in Northwest Ohio. So, so good.

It's all about convenience here as the website or app lets you place orders quickly with multiple pickup and delivery options. This location opened in the former Moe's / Magic Wok building and I hope they stick around. According to my receipts I've been here 17 times, and tried most of the menu. The cheesebread appetizer is good, but the accompanying marinara sauce is too chunky. How about a basic mozzarella sticks style sauce? At only $2.89, a caesar side salad seems like an easy choice to go with your pasta entree. The lettuce is fresh, dressing tasty, but size is very small at only a few bites big. Shove some more lettuce into that cup. Dishes that are good here are the mac & cheeses. Buffalo chicken mac got a little too hot for me by the end, but the barbecue style with crispy jalapenos was just right. Interesting contrast of flavors. In large size, they fill the container almost to the brim and have some real heft. Pesto cavatappi (spiral noodles) is also very good with a delicious sauce. Simple buttered noodles with parmesan is about what you'd expect, possibly too plain for most. You can pick whatever protein you want for any entree. The meatballs go great with this dish and they are truly exceptional - taste like they've been cooking all day and have an almost crispy shell on the outside. I thought I'd like the Japanese noodles with marinated steak more. The steak was surprisingly great. The sauce was a sweet teriyaki variety with a kick of heat. It tasted okay until I found the noodles a bit chewy - almost like they were not cooked long enough. Your jaw will get tired chewing these. Repeat visits confirmed that's how they're served. The broccoli in this dish also needed to be cooked longer... crunchy. A couple other fails for me were the pad thai - not a fan of the citrus sauce - and regular spaghetti. Too many tomato chunks in the red sauce. The tortelloni (that's how they spell it) in garlic cream sauce is a winner. Tender folded, stuffed pasta with great cheese flavor. So what is hands-down the best dish at Noodles & Company? That has to be the alfredo montamore with parmesan-crusted chicken. It's your basic chicken alfredo dish with a couple twists. They use spaghetti noodles, add fresh spinach leaves, and the parmesan-crusted chicken is outstanding. It's a salty, indulgent treat we get every visit. Service here is usually spot-on. One time they handed us a bag with two bowls when there were supposed to be five, which was fixed immediately. Friendly employees, attentive management, big variety of dishes. Try this place for something different.
