I would give this place 15 stars if I could! My husband had a carne asada burrito w/ a margarita. My five year old had a chicken quesadilla w/ a fruit punch jarritos. I had a chili relleno burrito (special of the day) w/ a tamarind jarritos. We all shared chips & salsa. If I HAD to come up w/ a criticism, I might say the salsa was salty and could be spicier...BUT I really LOVED it because I like things quite salty, and I'm not a big fan of the overly spicy!! So, for ME, it was all PERFECT!! My husband LOVED his margarita, and my 5 year old kept saying, "Now THIS is a FANTASTIC combination!" like he was filming a commercial. Unfortunately most places give you eggs cooked into oblivion and the "ham" is basically lunch meat. The burritos they make at this location are just so good it's something that you probably want to come to at least two or three times a week. Probably even more if you can afford it! And it's not like the price point here is super expensive. The owner of this place must be an absolute sweetheart because of food is delicious and it is price reasonably and it makes it easy for a family of five like I have to be able to come and get really good food throughout the week. A must try! The website makes it look a little sketchy as far as the online ordering process goes but I can tell you it is legit. Haha! My carna asada and chicken taco was tasty. It was so good I ate too much. The chips were fresh that I dipped into a salsa that I have never had before. For dessert I had a tasty cookie that was shaped as a Piggy called a Cocito. It is like a ginger bread cookie. Space is limited because it is a renovated house. Both were very disappointing. The contents of both burritos were under-seasoned, or potentially not seasoned at all. I didn't know chorizo could be flavorless, but I guess I was proven wrong today. Gonna round this up to about a 4.3 I love small dives like this one. It's pushed back into a little corner with a parking lot that fits a maximum of like 10 cars lol the decor was pretty dope and they have chalked hashtags to use whenever you snap an insta pic of their food (#freeadvertising). The food was very solid and doesn't deserve anything less than a 4 even on its WORSE day. For me though, it was lacking in flavor that most conventional mexican restaurants tend to give (see my review on Tacochella). Everything was hot and fresh and tasted great, but didnt have that pop to set itself apart from other burrito joints. The place is super cute and the service is great. I ordered a shrimp burrito with black beans and a Horchata. My cousin ordered a chicken burrito with refried beans. They give you a small cup of their house salsa. And then we shared a churro. The shrimp burrito was delicious and with the house salsa gave it an extra kick. The Horchata was perfect. Creamy and sweet. My cousin engulfed his food and the rest of mine so I am guessing he enjoyed it. The churro was fresh and had a filling that was actually pretty good. read more

I had the absolute best green chili pork burrito! I ordered it enchy style W Xmas sauce. It was amazingly flavorful. I also had a half order of chips and salsa (huge). Everything tasted fresh and like it was made from scratch with the perfect kick to it. I destroyed my burrito but couldn't leave the leftover mess there. Took it home and had the rest for dinner. The tortilla was tops. There were awesome chill tunes playing in the background. The staff was friendly and eager to please. It's located in an old house turned restaurant. Nothing about my experience really stood out compared to reviews. It's really not better than any bertos I've been to and I've had way better burritos for way less. I don't understand all the 5 star reviews when there is really nothing exceptional about this place. Very average, especially for the cost, parking is awful, and I made the mistake of going there in the morning at the end of July. I'm a native Phoenician and understand how brutal the summers can be but, good Lord, please do something about your AC (I'm so grateful I went in the morning cause any other time of the day I would think would be completely unbearable). I was sweating buckets and not from the hot sauce. And don't feel pressured to have beans included in your breakfast burrito. I thought, eh doesn't make sense or sound good to me but I'll try it. It does not go well with a breakfast burrito at all, in my opinion, but to each their own. Just wanted to try something new and it was a major let down. read more

I may...or may not have had a good buzz going when we stopped in but that doesn't hinder my taste buds. Not feeling too risky I asked what the most popular item was. I was directed towards the green chile burrito or taco. I'm usually a red chile guy but I took the recommendation and ordered both. The green chile was on POINT! It had just the right amount heat. The corn tortillas were nice and soft. The taco was simple but muy bueno!! The burrito was most definitely the star to me. The beans and the cheese that melted mixed together to make a kick ass sauce that paired great with the spicy green chile. The chips and salsa were tasty and nice much on before our meals. 1st time in.... I can 100% recommend the Green Chili Burrito. Excellent flavor, decent heat, tender meat... not too wet or dry. Comes with rice, choice of beans(black, pinto, refried) and sour cream inside. We asked for them on the side to get the flavor of the green chili. Black beans were tender and flavorful, rice was a bit soft but if it was in the burrito( as served) it would have been just fine. Small menu, which was our first draw.
