About once a year I get a horrible cold that I can't seem to kick and it sometimes turns in a sinus infection that requires antibiotics. This place is so much more convenient than my PCP. I love this place. The staff is great. I always get in and out and if I need a prescription, they have it on site and I can leave with it for $12. This is my go to place if I'm not feeling well but don't want to have to mess with getting an appointment to see my regular doctor. read more

No stars. I tried calling them to make an appointment and every time that I hit zero to be connected to the front desk, I heard someone answer the phone and disconnect me. TWICE. Therefore, no appointment with them. Time to train your staff to not be so rude to sick people, since sick people are your business. Wow. read more

DO NOT come to this place. It's not safe! Had two bad cuts on my hand doctor took an X-ray to see if it was "fractured". Are u stupid? I cut it on glass! Then he wanted to give sutures. Understandable as that's what I came here for. Well the doctor (Dr Epner) started stitching me up WITHOUT any anesthesia. NOTHING! Halfway through he was shaking and started saying "oh dear, I forgot anesthesia. That's not good, we aren't in Russia are we?" Seriously?! You freaking kidding me. The doctor here is a quack! Dr. Baier is who every urgent care doc should aim to emulate! She was very friendly but also extremely knowledgable and patient despite all the questions I had. She also had this amazing way of providing me with quick and efficient healthcare while being compassionate and not making me feel rushed. I went here for a broken toe expecting to wait for hours. Nope! The staff was really nice and I was taken in immediately for an exam and xrays. This is a great place to go when you can't get an appointment with your regular doctor. read more

This is the best urgent care center I have ever been to. The staff is amazingly pleasant. The place is very clean. Best off, the doctor was super informative and went through the details of all of the medications she was prescribing---something I don't even get from my primary care doc. She answered all of my questions and even checked my existing inhaler. Excellent service! read more

Avoid this place. Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon with a sinus infection. Checked with Admitting on the wait before signing in and was told I would be called next - so about 20 minutes. I signed in and handed over all relevant personal and insurance information. Fast forward and an hour and a half later and I'm back at the admitting desk asking what the delay is. Receptionist has no idea and she looks at me like she has never seen me before. She also won't tell me why people that came in well after I did were called and I was not. Because I could not get any indication how much longer I would be waiting I had to grab my paperwork and leave. After seeing how they operate I was apprehensive about leaving them any information. On the way out a father told me that he and his daughter had their name called and waited another hour in the treating area and had still not been seen by a physician. By the way, I stopped by a nearby CVS on the way home and was seen by a doctor and got a prescription all within 20 minutes. Lesson learned - see your regular doctor if you can. If its nothing dire stop by CVS immediate care. Otherwise, and I can't believe I'm saying this, go to the Emergency Room. read more

I went there to get evaluated for flu like symptoms in behalf of my job. After a basic evaluation and a few questions, I was told by someone who wasn't a real doctor but from an assistant that to go back to work the same day. After I questioned him why he made that decision, he implied with a sarcastic smirck on his face that I was lying about my condition. Everyone else in the office was polite except the wanna-be doctor that you should expect the utmost professionalism. Guess that's too much to ask for in this clinic. read more

The people were very nice here, and the price reasonable if you direct pay. My BIG complaint is that when you go to their site you can sign up for a ZIP PASS which leads you to believe it will have you limiting your wait time based on the fact you get to select the next available time.... IT IS NOT TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went in with a horrible sinus infection and the allotted time which was 15 minutes before the time I selected as per their instrucions... unfortunately I was in the waiting room for almost an hour and a half - blowing my nose and hacking and suffering with excruciating ear pain. Once I was actually taken in to the office I had no complaints, but I did ask about the online sign up and was told it has no relevance to when you will be seen. I was very frustrated and said I felt it was misleading, and the nurse (?) who saw me before the doctor agreed with me and said she has told them many times they should change it. Clearly I wasn't the only one that had complained. The main reason I went there was I felt I was signing up my for my appt and was so sick was trying to limit my time out of bed, and to avoid hanging out in a waiting room!!! I will just go someplace more local if I am going to have to sit and wait anyway - CVS has a clinic that is cheaper for the same services. If you value your time and dignity, then don't bother. Made an appointment online. Showed up 15 minutes early as per instructions. They have a screen with a list of patients, the order in which they will be seen, and estimated wait time. Checked in, and my name popped up first on the list. Proceeded to wait 45 minutes and 6 people were called ahead of me. What's the point of making a reservation and posting a list if they don't take the patients in order? In the words of Seinfeld "you know how to *take* the reservation, you just don't know how to *hold* the reservation. And that's really the most important part of the reservation: the holding. Anybody can just take them". Doctor had a very condescending attitude and snarky remarks when I was describing my symptoms and when they started. If you are sick, have multiple hours to kill, and want to walk out feeling worse than when you walked in, then Physicians Immediate Care is definitely the place for you! read more

GARBAGE!! I went on Thursday 12/18. I was sick with the flu and I could barely speak. Matter fact the staff could barely understand me because I was so hoarse. I told the nurse and dr that it felt like knives in the back of my throat every time I swallow. They diagnosed me with the flu and prescribed me some cough syrup. 12/21 I get a voice mail from a guy from this facility asking me to call back. I call the number he provided from the voice mail and surprise surprise no staff member at this facility can account for this message.. I said well since I have u on the phone I'm still not feeling well. I'd like to come in again and have my ear checked out but I dnt want to pay another copay. The receptionist says let me pass this on to the dr and he will call you. Today is the 22nd I still dnt feel 100% and have never had this much throat pain in my life. I decide to go to the CVS minute clinic and lo and behold I test positive for strep throat. Physicians Immediate Care could have caught this FOUR DAYS AGO!! But noooo they wanted to rush me out so fast and couldn't take the time to do a simple 6 minute test.. Oh and btw I have YET to get that return call from the Dr! read more

I was not impressed with this place. After usually going to Michigan Ave Immediate care I decided to give this place a shot since it was a weekend and I didn't feel like going downtown. I made an appt. using their zip pass system the night before. The woman who greeted me at the front was very nice and i t took about 20 -30 mins to be seen. Not too bad but I still wondered what the value of making an appt the night before was if you had to wait almost a half an hour.Then the nurse came in and took my temperature and then said the doctor would be in in a few minutes. I was impressed. Then about 20 minutes went by and another nurse came in and took my blood pressure - again saying the doctor would be right in. My appt was at 12 noon, and the doctor didn't come into the office until almost 1:30. I was highly annoyed, and she said they were slammed yet there were three people in the lobby. I gave her my symptoms and she said "Sounds like the flu, what do you think?" I was shocked and said "it dosen't matter what I think" She then said she would test me for the flu. She used a throat compressor and said say "Ahh" and shuved it so far in I gagged. "woops, sorry" was all I got. Since I had been waiting forever, I asked if I could get some blood work done to test for stds which I normally do as part of a annual physical but I figured I am here I am may as well do both. She then asked me what stds I wanted to be tested for. I said a full test, and she seemed confused by this; and then said it would take at least a half hour. When I told her I didn't have th e time to do that, she said she would just test for the flu, and the next thing I know the nurse is coming in to draw blood. She then almost knocked me out with the flu test shoving a giant q tip up each nostril. I finally left after 2pm. Two hours on a saturday. Seemed like way too long. Overall it was an "ok" experience, but I will likely only use if I absolutely have to and head downtown to Michgian Ave. Immediate care. read more

This is my first (negative) yelp review, as I am not easily offended. I am a physician and went in for a routine drug screen required by my new employer. I was treated rudely by both staff members I had to deal with. At 10:00am on a weekday, there were 2 customers there before me. It still took me over an hour for the very simple process. I have NEVER heard of a clinic for an employment drug screen where 1) they do not have lockers for your purse/belongings as you cannot take it in with you to the bathroom. 2) they do not explain anything that they are asking you to sign 3) they do not change gloves after touching contaminated materials and hand you the pen/stylus they were using, with their dirty gloves, to have you sign forms... Eew Eew Eew! Perhaps I am more discriminating because I am a medical professional? Also, I did not have to see a medical provider; this review is only a reflection on the other clinic staff. read more
