Great new Woodbridge/Lodi spot - I went here twice in a two-week span. One of which being during the holidays and all the decor was very cute. They give you some chicharrones de harina as a lil snack while you browse the menu. There are a TON of drink options - love that they have mezcal as well as other flavors not typical, like pandan on the menu. I got the steak sando, good sized steak with the yummy bread and sauce. I love that their fries are a little flat, makes them crispy. Also split a pizza, one is about 6 slices and good for two people to share. A little steep in price for that size, as each was $20+. The bar is also VERY loud if you sit inside, we found ourselves shouting half of the time. You can also make reservations on OpenTable which has come in handy during some peak times. We had our rehearsal dinner here and Jose and his team ensured we were all taken care of. The foot was incredible, we tried many different appetizers on the menu and none of them disappointed, but my favorite was the pretzel and buffalo potato skins. The environment was great, Jose gave us the choice to have an indoor/outdoor feel which worked perfect for our group size. Jose was flexible and understanding throughout our entire time even leading up to the event. The one thing this place offers that actually drew us to going with them is that their food and beverage minimum was reasonable and wasn't inflated. Beautiful establishment!! We have been patiently waiting for this place to open. We happened to drive by and seen people sitting on the patio so we stopped. We were told they were actually open for a private event for their friends and family. They were so welcoming and asked us to stay and join. The owner Mariam(?) thanked us for stopping, gave us menus and talked about the different food they were offering and drinks. We got lucky and were able to attend their soft opening before their official soft opening. Everyone was so friendly and nice. Several servers came to our table and chatted with us. My husband ordered oysters and shrimp. The Chef brought the oysters to our table and explained all about them. The pizza was perfect. The ambiance was great. They were playing a variety of music. There were several large tv's to enjoy some games. The spicy margarita hit the perfect spot. There is a very large assortment of liquor and drinks. We can not wait to return. read more

Overpriced and the pizza's just not good, but hey, at least they have some of the games on, so it's not the worst place. Woodbridge doesn't have many options, but man, this place charges way too much for the quality. I've heard the steak sandwich is decent, but skip the pizza. Guantonios has significantly better quality food but no tvs. Maybe lower the price if it's gonna taste like that? read more

1000 percent yes to this location. Came in on the fourth day of the business being open..service was prompt and friendly! The place was packed and we were still seated quickly and attended to right away. The food was fantastic..it was a limited menu for the opening which we understood..everything we ordered was great! Definitely recommend the pepperoni pizza with hot honey! The cocktails were very well crafted and delicious. Fun atmosphere with several tvs where we were able to watch the game. Finally got into pi- bar after making a reservation (tried to show up 2x before with an expected 2 hr wait time) so I was very excited to see the hype. Disappointed is my takeaway. Paid $120 for 2 drinks, greasy personal sized pizza, Tyson frozen wings, and an appetizer- that came out 10 min before we checked out. I can say the over priced drinks are phenomenal when you aren't waiting 30 min for them to come from the bar. Tried to order a second round of drinks that never came, checked in with our waitress about this to then see her argue with the bartender because they forgot the drink, was told they were "still working on it". Mind you we ordered one cocktail and a beer- and we could see the beer sitting on the counter for 20 min. Good music and like the selections on the tv but this is a high end pizza parlor that just doesn't deliver for a date night. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed. The greeter who sat us was very polite and informative. He asked if it was our first time here and if we were celebrating anything and we told him yes, My birthday month lol! Our waitress was very nice, my drink was amazing and the food was very delicious. Worth every penny and the 30 minute drive. Online dress code stated certain attire as we obliged but saw many people wearing just the opposite and were like we would have loved to come in hoodies and comfortable clothes as it was a bit chilly since the big door was open but we understand why they set a dress code. I come here often with one of my besties and it never disappoints! We've tried their burgers, pretzel, wings, salads, pizzas. Alll have been very tasty. This time I took my brothers out and I tried their chicken sandwich and omg it has an amazing bbq sauce that has a little kick to it, combined with their coleslaw and on soft brioche bread...it's not the usual bbq chicken sandwich...it was perfect and so flavorful. We've been to Pi Bar several times and have general had great experiences. This sports bar has been a great addition to the area, with a beautiful new building and great selection of beers on tap. I made reservations over three weeks ago for a high top table at 3:15pm for the day of the Super Bowl. The day prior to our reservation I called to increase our reservation from 2 people to 4 people and was notified Pi Bar was charging a cover fee of $50 per person for a 'Super Bowl watch party.' This was not the case when I originally made the reservation and I was not notified prior to my phone call of this extra charge. Upon arriving for our reservation, the bar was rather empty with several open spots at the bar, empty tables and high tops. There was an abundance of staff hanging around, which made the service we received rather surprising and disappointing. Our waitress was not very attentive, forgot to bring a beer a member of our party ordered and we had to ask several times for various items as well as flag down a staff member to ask for our check. There was a rather awkward DJ that would place very loud music in between plays, which was unfortunate as we were interested in hearing the commercials and having a chance to chat with each other, which was nearly impossible with how loud the music was. Overall, the 'Super Bowl watch party' was a big miss - we'll be back on a regular day to enjoy Pi Bar but I will avoid it in the future for big sporting events considering the up charge and poor service. read more

If I could give this place negative stars, I absolutely would. I've tried multiple pizzas here hoping they'd improve, but every single one has been greasy and soggy. I really wanted to like Pibar because the atmosphere isn't bad -- but this last visit was the final straw. We came specifically to watch the Dodgers vs. Blue Jays World Series game. They were showing the game on all their TVs, clearly promoting it to bring people in. We sat in the back room where there was a TV, but the staff refused to turn up the volume because one person at another table didn't want it louder, even though others did. Annoying, but fine -- we let it go. Then things got worse. A family friend had been waiting for over an hour for a table, and even after more of their group arrived, they were never seated or called. Since our table for two could easily fit six to eight people, we invited them to join us. Just as we were finally enjoying the game, a manager came over and told us our "two-hour reservation" was almost up -- even though we'd just gotten our food about 30 minutes earlier. The rest of our group had barely sat down and gotten drinks, and they weren't even allowed to order food. Apparently, this two-hour limit is mentioned in fine print at the very bottom of their menu -- practically invisible. We were repeatedly asked to leave and ended up walking out in the 8th inning after arriving in the 2nd. World Series games last longer than two hours; any place that promotes itself as a game-day spot should know that. Between the disappointing food, frustrating service, and poor management decisions, I won't be coming back here. Ever again. (Update since they wanted to send an Al generated response to me) maybe you should focus on customer service and quality of the food, rather than how you plan to communicate kicking paying customers out of your restaurant just so you can get some more in? Just a thought also don't play a World Series game if you're not going to let people watch the whole thing! read more

Let me start on a good note, the vibes are always awesome here. Great place to hang out and enjoy a good meal with some friends. Where it could use some improvement - Establish a better check in process, although I have never visited on a Friday/Saturday, during the week they seem to be understaffed. No waiting area, so you are forced to stand in the door way blocking other patrons from entering and exiting while you are acknowledged and taken to a seat/table, it gets clumsy. The waiters and waitress's that have served us are always very friendly, but back to the feeling like its understaffed. both times we dined inside after getting sat down, it has taken 10-15 minutes just to have a waiter/waitress come by to take our drink/food orders. Is it easier to just order at the counter before we sit? not sure. Food is good, highly recommend. Drinks are just OK - Not terrible, but definitely leaving more to be desired. Prices are good, feels just right for the establishment. Service is ok, only complaint is slow service and a clumsy check in process. read more
