The drinks were poured perfectly and the bartenders were friendly... such a great time! Also played some good music!

This was a great little Irish bar that we came across in Lodi. The bartender was fun, and attentive which we definitely appreciate. The drinks were good. You can't go wrong with Jameson and coke and you could taste the Jameson so plus one! The place was clean, the vibes were good, and the bar was well stocked.

Stop by for a pint of Guinness...and they do a proper pour. Can be a bit crowded inside at times but when the weather is nice they have an outdoor patio which is great to relax and people watch. Excellent staff and a good stop for your Lodi Beer Tour (gotta have a Guinness...) Often host fun events during farmer's market like Blue Moon painting.

Service is good but the bathrooms are worse than Tijuana. I'll add pictures for proof. There's no way you can charge $20/head in Lodi, ca and not have a dang janitor.

This review is based on St Patrick's Day at Ollie's, I've never been on a regular day. So. if you are looking for a MASSIVE party, in Lodi, on St Patty's day... look no further than Ollie's. Show up early, be prepared to wait in a long line to get in, bring cash - the cover is cash and most of the vendors only took cash. Inside it was packed elbow to elbow with young people, but they had the entire alley blocked off and the entire alley was a giant party lined with bars and food vendors and a stage and dance floor. The band was awesome, they have played Ollie's St Patrick's day for 10+ years. I didn't stay for the second band (the younger guys).

We got the foccicia bread basket as an appetizer and it was really good, herb, olive oil, soft bread like a sponge. The chicken pot pie was excellent, full of flavor, great crust and good filling. I got the French dip, it was probably one of the best I had in a while. The au jus was the best part, thick, flavorful along with a strong creamy horseradish. Service............. Not so much. For a big place that was maybe 40% occupied, it was soooooooooooooooooo slow. One server from what I see, 2 bussers, and 5 others standing around chatting. Took a good 30 mins to get seated (there was tables available), though we got to go to their tasting room, and got a bottle of wine; another 20 mins to get the server's attention after getting seated and probably another 40 for the food to come. That was probably the most irritating.

Always a good sign. We were quickly seated in their covered patio area. The seating was quite comfortable. The staff were prompt and attentive. I ordered the Potatoe Platter. Probably not the healthiest of choices but who can deny a heaping platter of country style potatoes mixed with grilled ham, bacon, onions, and topped with melted cheese. I mean seriously. I ordered mine with eggs and ordered the pancake instead of toast, more on that later. To say this is a hearty meal would be the understatement of the year. Try as I might, I packed over half of this delicious dish for breakfast the following day. Judge me if you must, but I measure all pancakes against the gold standard of pancakes, McDonalds. The Avenue Grill offered a solid pancake, light, fluffy with a slight snap, every bit a worthy competitor to my favorite. Before I knew it, the pancake was gone. My wife ordered the French Toast. Want we loved about the Avenue Grill is sometimes you just want good, simple food and this was the case with the French Toast. Based on a light Sourdough, the french toast had good flavor and came together nicely with the syrup. All in all, we absolutely loved Avenue Grill. The restaurant is always great about accommodating a special request. I had requested a thicker cut steak for my dinner about a week before our reservation and it was prepared perfectly! Honestly, the best steak I have had in over a year. My husband had escargot as an appetizer and I had the prawn cocktail. Both were excellent as were the salads and of course the entrees were fantastic. My husband had the King Salmon, perfectly cooked and seasoned very well. We also splurged for dessert and were not disappointed! The server, Casey's wife was so attentive, kind and a true hospitality professional. It was also great seeing Steve Ding, the owner again, he is always welcoming and genuinely dedicated to making your experience a memorable one.
