I ordered pickup through Draft's website last week, which automatically routed my order through DoorDash. When I arrived, I was told I was in the wrong place and directed to walk around the corner. There was no clear signage indicating where DoorDash pickups were supposed to go. The only sign was a small A-frame that was blocked by parked cars, making it nearly impossible to see. Following the directions I was given, I ended up in the back of Mavericks and even wandered into the kitchen, where the cooks looked at me like I was the idiot. I went back to the front, and the waitress walked me to the correct location. As I followed her, I overheard the owner behind the bar say, "There's a goddamn sign," apparently talking about me. He didn't realize I was standing right behind her. When I appeared, his attitude instantly changed, and he apologized by saying, "Sorry, I've been here since 11." 6-7 hours of work, oh no! I'm sorry, but working since 11 isn't an excuse for talking about customers like that. If your pickup process is so confusing that people end up in the kitchen, that's on your business, not your customers. I won't be back. Better signage, a clearer pickup process, and a little respect for customers would go a long way. Do better, Tommy Boy. read more

The bartender suggested Space Dust Ipa with 9%abv. Asked if I wanted a sample. "No" I said "You got me at 9%". They have an impressive stock of hard liquor on the shelves. Sips: Space Dust, Elysian Brewing-WA. (8/16 oz) -actually was 8.2%. Very boozy, buzzworthy, hoppy -very smooth, no bitterness, has a tropical & citrus fruit profile. -drank only one since I didn't want a chaser while going home. Several times I heard behind me "Hello. Robot is coming". A slow moving 'bot with 3 levels of space was delivering foods to patrons on the floor. Great service and lots of ice cold beers on tap - absolutely what's needed when it's 90°F outside. A bit hard to find and no obvious sign on their front doors, but the double doors on the southeast corner of the building is what you're looking for. I ordered the Pastrami Reuben. The cheese was pristinely melted, blending with the tender pastrami to create a salivating, multi-dimensional, multi-textured profile. The sourdough slices were toasted well. The sauerkraut was a refreshing surprise mix of sour and sweet. The menu doesn't say, but it came with a side of fries, and I was able to sub it with tater tots. So no need to order a side of fries or tots if you go the sando route. The tots were sublimely fried, boasting a crisp crunch and precisely seasoned coating that was not overly salty. The bartender/server was outstanding. After seating us, he came back promptly to ask for our order, yet giving us enough time to digest the menu. He checked periodically how we were doing without being intrusive. He also served me a bonus side of buffalo sauce with the tots because i had originally inquired about buffalo tots. Definitely a customer service ace. The dining area was spacious. Many different sizes of big screens lined the walls. They featured a whole gamut of sports and games. I also noticed there was a lounge-like area with inviting sofas in front of a screen. I had the privilege of meeting the owners and they are wonderful people. June 11. 6:15pm. Stopped in to watch the Giants and NBA Finals. Was hoping to find another spot for our rotation but ended up leaving after 10 minutes of being completely ignored. My wife and I sat at a visible table near the bar and entrance, made eye contact with both the waitress and the bartender -- not even a nod or a "be right with you." What really pissed me off was that another couple walked in after us and was immediately greeted, served water, and handed menus -- while we were still sitting there without even a "be right there". I get that places get busy, but this wasn't that. It was just bad service and worse awareness. Sports pub with a friendly vibe that we tried after work. The service was quick and efficient as well. Their beer list for draft and bottles was pretty standard but with a decent number of choices and expected prices too. The pretzel bites came out fast and were hot with good flavor and the perfect size for dipping into the mustard or beer cheese. Didn't get the chance to try other things on their food menu. Good beers and good food, although I don't even remember what we ordered. It was just snacking because our table was just nervous for the game. They also opened up the back space/room for the overflow crowd, but that space wasn't as lively. It was way too quiet for a niner playoff game, so we moved back. Not sure how they are related to the other space. One note though - two times this happened. We were standing in line at the bar patiently waiting our turn to order some drinks. Came here to watch a Raiders game on their televisions. There's a big screen on the right side of the pub near the restrooms, but the sound from the game over the PA system didn't synch with the picture of the game on the big TV, so we moved to the central bar area were the picture and sound were synched up. Food was fine, service was fine. I got a bit tired of sitting in front of a tall round table for two on bar stools with backs on them. I should sit at a regular table with regular chairs. Much more comfortable. Easy parking in the shopping center because the game was on a Sunday and the shopping center is located in the middle of a Pleasanton light business park. Tables were set apart enough so you weren't in anyone's face, but it didn't make it easy to commune with other Raider fans. read more

I'm visiting from LA for my best friend's wedding and am staying right next door at the Courtyard Marriott. I walked in to catch some of the games and was instantly greeted by Augie. Augie makes this place what it is -- welcoming for everyone, and a cool vibe. A few hours later, a few people from our group showed up, and Augie showed everyone love. Totally glad to see that Jodi is still there! Her service has always been consistently friendly, fun, and awesome since the pick 6 days!!! I do wish they had something similar to the old pick 6 happy hour, as that was one of our driving factors to take an extended lunch or leave early from the office that is just across the street. Really causing us to venture to Paxti's and Lazy Dog that's a little further from our office.
