    Cheese pizza

Came in at 8 to order a pizza to go. Pizza was fine. Service sucked. The kid working the front counter just stared at us. He actually looked disgusted he had to take a to go order.

Boozy Bacon (GF crust, DF cheese)

Service and ambiance took place in a pleasant environment, but what I got is the real story here. I used a GF crust and DF cheese for pizza called the Boozy Bacon, consisting of feta, bacon, peaches, red onions, crushed red pepper seeds, and a bourbon BBQ drizzle. The sweetness from the BBQ sauce and the peaches provided enough of a balance to the red pepper seeds that I was getting sweet heat with a little kick. Pair that with a crispy crust, and you've got a perfect pie.

I was excited to see a Detroit pizza diner on the road to Asheville! We stopped for lunch one day on the way back from Jump Off Rock. It wasn't too busy, but sounds like we got there just in time since they ran out of single slices right after we ordered. I got a slice with pepperoni, red pepper, and green onion with a salad. The salad was incredible, I'd go back for that! It was a great fall salad with craisins, candied walnuts, blue cheese, and arugula with a nice vinaigrette on the side. The pizza was okay, the crust didn't have much flavor which was disappointing, but the toppings were tasty. I don't think I'd go back for the pizza but would for the salad! They have several tables inside to eat at, or if it's nice, the patio was a great place to sit and enjoy the weather.

I tried to take a picture of the Pi Square delish pizza. Unfortunately I wasn't fast enough and this is all I could get!

Great experience the food was fantastic. Service was exceptional. Tried a few new types of pizzas and they were great!!!! Definitely give it a go. You won't be disappointed.!

Made to order custom slice of pizza pie.

Easy stop for artisanal made to order pizza by the slice. You design your slice. Lots of good veggie options in addition to meats. One slice and a very good Greek salad made for a very adequate lunch.

This pizza was so good! I loved the crispy crust and their sauce, it was a great combo! I highly recommend the cheese bread! Service was amazing, very kind all around, took less than 25 minutes on a busy night! We were able to sit outside and enjoy the weather so it was a great experience!

Pizza was so delicious! They have vegan cheese which I very much appreciate. The employees were so kind and even brought out a cold water bowl for my dog. Pictured is the fig-et about it and a build your own with vegan cheese.

Pizza is good (though not Chicago-great!). I liked the set-up (ordering at the counter and then having a seat) and the beer selection.

My wife and I finally went to our niece's wedding in the Asheville, NC area which was postponed…read morelast year due to the flooding from Hurricane Helene. We were headed to the Greenville Spartanburg airport afterwards, when we decided to stop somewhere and eat on the way. We had plenty of time, since we were going to be at the airport about 6 hours early due to a brunch being cancelled in Weaverville due to an accident involving another family member. The first sign we saw that interested us was for two places in Saluda, North Carolina. We decided to exit and take a chance. It was a good choice. After a short 1.5 mile drive in the beautiful countryside, we arrived in the tiny village of Saluda. It was really a quaint and scenic place. We drove past our restaurant choice, but saw no parking. We kept following signs to a parking lot, but suddenly the road we needed to turn on was closed for construction. I kept going to find a place to make a u-turn, when we suddenly saw Green River BBQ and pulled right into the parking lot. We opted to eat inside. At first we, being from San Antonio, were concerned that the dining room wasn't airconditioned. Believe me, it didn't need it! A very friendly server named Joey came to us right away, seated us, and took drink orders. When he brought our drinks we ordered our meals. My wife had a sliced brisket sandwich with fries and coleslaw. I ordered the BBQ Melt (Smoked pork on a king's Hawaiian bun with melted cheddar cheese & Duke's mayonnaise & smothered with caramelized onions.) Without knowing what it was, I substituted tomato pie for my fries. The food was all excellent. My sandwich was so big and loaded with pork that I couldn't eat the last fourth of it. I didn't want to be stuffed on a flying day. The pork was better than any pork I have been served in Texas. They really know how to cook it in the Carolinas. The coleslaw was rich and creamy. I really liked it. The tomato pie is a hard one to describe. The best I can do is to say that it is like the squash casserole we get in Texas, but replace the squash with fresh tomatoes. It was cheesy, gooey, and had a super great tomato taste. The service here was great. I watched as about 6 staffers were setting up for a big family group that came in after us. They worked like a finely orchestrated marching band. All I can say is this: Skip all those other chains that are along Interstate 26 and go to Green River BBQ!

Roasted Peanuts on the table to greet you and peanut shells on the floor also adds to the laidback feel. The waitress (Lexie) took my drink order quickly and promptly brought the unsweetened tea and a basket full of fresh yeast rolls. She then offered to take my order, but I asked for more time to go over the menu (since it was my first visit). After a short wait, she answered my question and took my order. I opted for 2 skewers of beef tips and bacon cheese fries for my side. My food arrived shortly thereafter and it included ranch dressing to dip the fries and grilled onions and peppers on the side and then she asked if I needed any steak sauce of mushroom gravy. I opted for the latter. This was great service especially since I for got to ask for ranch and mushroom gravy originally and thought I was only allowed the peppers and onions or the mushroom gravy. During the meal, my glass was refilled just as I finished it and she remembered I was drinking unsweetened tea. As for the food from the rolls, to the steak tips, fries, and condiments was all excellent. And too much for me to eat. Lexie brought a to go box and refilled my tea again even though I said I didn't need a to-go tea. I would highly recommend.
