Garlic bread
Patricia G.

Came to Piacere on a Friday evening after seeing a few ads on Instagram. Its pretty small inside, but has a really nice cozy ambiance. We ordered garlic bread, a margherita pizza, burrata pizza, 2 soft drinks and a lemonade. The garlic bread was delicious, especially paired with the complimentary spicy oil they have on each table. It was crispy, not too garlicky. However, the sauce served with it was super cold like it had been taken right from the fridge. The margherita pizza was a classic, nice light crust and bright marinara. Undercarriage was a little floppy. The burrata was wonderful. Perfect amount of burrata, arugula and balsamic. Crispy edges, but again, floppy undercarriage so it can get a bit messy especially considering the burrata is wet. The tomatoes on top were super fresh and crisp. The food was great, but unfortunately there could be some improvements. The margherita pizza came out first and the second pizza didnt come out until 10 minutes later meaning some people are eating and some arent. Then by the time the burrata pizza came out, some were finished eating and its just a very weird dynamic. Also, we weren't checked up on at all until there was one slice of pizza left, and we actually did want more to drink, but didnt want to pay another $3 when we were almost done. Then when our table was cleared, no one came back. I had my card out, ready to pay, and despite servers standing around, no one ever came back to ask if we wanted anything else or to pay. I had to end up flagging someone down. With everything we ordered, the total came to $50. The prices were reasonable for the food, but the drinks were ridiculous. $5 for a small bottle of lemonade? $3 for a can of coke? Wholesale cost is probably 50 cents. Be reasonable. Overall, it was an okay experience. While the food was good, the service and timing was lacking.

Small, but excellent wood burning Pizza restaurant. I'm on vacay with Ashley P. and we sampled two Pizza's and some Gelato. Everything was excellent, and reasonably priced. We'll be back!

A great Sunday outing for Mother's Day brunch with the fam…read more We sat outdoors by the pool with a live performer playing the guitar. Relaxing atmosphere. Indoors seemed to be more busy in the 90 degree heat, tho we were lucky with a table fully in the shade. Outdoors probably picks up more in the evenings. I started out with a Bloody Mary and went with the Farmer's House Smoked Salmon -- toasted organic sourdough bread, chive cream cheese, tomato, pickled red onions, cucumber, and sunflower sprouts. Delicious and light, great way to start the day properly. Farmer's Table has a solid and longstanding hype. I am Iong overdue in visiting for the first time. Perfect outing for special occasions.

Our waiter was nice enough but took forever to come get our order. The food came out. He came by to check before we ate anything. Ok fine. We let him know we've come a few times in the past 3 months (about once per month) and the smoked salmon was good to split as it always comes with 2 pieces of bread (which they cut in half- so 4 halves, perfect to make 2 mini sandwiches with) This time it came with a piece of bread and a half (so 3 halves). I'm looking around for our server he's no where to be found. I finally spot him but he doesn't see me and goes into the back area near the bar to speak with another server. He then pokes his head out and I get his attention. I told him we needed another 1/2 a piece of bread. It took a bit but the manager came brought 2 pieces of toasted bread with butter. We thought that was nice, they gave us extra for the wait. The manager asked if everything was ok, we had the bread so yes it was fine nothing to say. We weren't sure why be was asking (also didn't know he was the manager at that time) We also got the omelette which was ok, not great. No complaints just nothing special, we wouldn't get that again. (Not this trip but last time we got their potatoes which were so good and a really good flat bread with figs so most of their other food is good) Then it takes a bit but he comes to clean our plates... and disappears again. A while later he has that check machine in his hand (I hate those honestly- becoming a restaurant standard but gives you no time to discuss anything with your party or figure out the tip) he asked if we needed anything I said no, thinking he was having us pay since we're not ordering anything else- but then he just walked away. The other table is getting rowdy and annoyed not seeing him either now. I see that table out of the corner of my eye getting annoyed with him. They're ready to go, as are we. We finally get the check and they charged us $4.50 for the bread. Confused I asked about that mistake. He then told us he sent his manager over to talk to us (you did?) and he'll send him over again. So now we just want to leave but are waiting for the manager. The man who delivered the bread comes over. Tells me it depends how thick it is. Sometimes it's 3 sometimes it's 4 pieces (referring to the individual halves of bread) that's why we were charged for a side of bread. He then tells me the server must not have understood. I was very clear and asked for a half a piece- letting him know we always order this. I didn't ask for 2 slices with butter- which they brought. The manager offers to knock a few bucks off but it's made in house so that's all he'll do. I'm not really happy I didn't want all that, I didn't order it and really if your server misunderstood why am I being charged? (Plus we're already frustrated waiting there, we've been ready to go for a while at this point) Meanwhile the table next to us gets up to talk to the manager who's busy "fixing" our check as they also just want to leave. They're clearly frustrated as well. Then the server comes by and asks us if everything was solved. Not really but sort of. I hear him go to the manager behind us ... and the manager says "I'm going to charge them something for it" Someone else from that other table comes over to complain to us about how this place is going downhill. They also used to really like it there- but now they're spending their whole afternoon in there. We have a lovely chat about how frustrating this experience has been before the server comes back with our revised check. So I went from coming here at least once a month (literally my open table shows me coming here 3 times since the middle of March) but I will not be returning anytime soon and I have a feeling neither will that other party (Also on their menu on their website the bread is only $4.25 so we were overcharged no matter how you look at it. But you won you charged us something!)

A friend recommended me because she knows I eat very clean and occasionally count my macros. I placed an order online for pick up. I ordered the green goddess shake with added grass fed whey protein, the buffalo cauliflower, the peanut chicken & crispy rice bowl (came with cabbage, avocado, chopped chicken, cucumbers), the gluten free mac and cheese and the organic fudgy sweet potato muffins. I plan on making multiple meals out of these items. Every single item listed above was FRESH and FANTASTIC!!!!!! The flavor and the taste of everything was just incredible. I can't believe how amazing the mac and cheese was. I placed the muffin in the microwave for 15 seconds prior to eating and it was so gooey and I felt like I was eating an "unhealthy" muffin when it was only 77 cals. The best feeling ever! Do yourself a favor and go to Garden Butcher. You're actually missing out if you have never tried it!!!!! Can't wait to come back!

That Victorian era sofa with the throw pillows added a unique touch, offering a more relaxed, lived-in vibe than your typical pizza joint. The mix of high and low top tables was perfect for accommodating everything from casual solo diners to larger groups looking for a family-style experience. The vibe overall was more of a chill, casual hangout. Using the metal plant hangers, above each table, for silverware and napkins, gives the place a bit of personality - like they've thought about making the experience special in small, thoughtful ways. It's those little touches that make this place feel distinctly personal. The owner Camillo introduced himself and alerted us that he just made a cheese pizza, so that's what I went with, a big cheese slice. The pizza chef slid the slice into the flaming oven as I impatiently watched the lightly oiled cheese bubble to perfection (see pic). The crust had that perfect balance of crispy and chewy, and the light sauce lets the flavor of the dough really shine through. This pizza prevailed easily as 8.8/10. They accept Door Dash and provide a traditional Italian menu and open daily late and closed on Sundays. The industrial touches in the bathroom with the pitted porcelain tiles and wall shelving with black piping really gave it that gritty, yet stylish, edge - like they brought together a mix of vintage charm and modern aesthetics. It's always fun when a place puts thought into every detail, even in the bathroom where the space feels cohesive with the rest of the restaurant.
