Service and food were delicious. I ordered the spicy marg and the Greek breakfast. I substituted the poached eggs for crispy potatoes and boy was it yummy. I would say the live music was too loud and made it very hard to have a conversation with the people at my table. The staff seemed to appreciate the music more that the customers. Made a reservation for 4 pm. Was HAND SIGNALED (not spoken to like a human being) through a locked door that they would not be open until 4:45. Glad I didn't spend money here if this is how they treat customers, and we will not return. EDIT: despite the owners response, in absolutely no way did a team member "address my concerns". If the door was opened and someone used their words to express that the restaurant needed 5 more minutes or even 20 more minutes it would have been no issue. Neat little place! Came to celebrate a friend's birthday. We were seated in the back room and given two servers. It has two floors - first floor is the main dining area with upstairs area serving as the main bar and live entertainment area. The menu is varied, reasonably priced with a classy yet relaxed atmosphere. I had the Wagyu burger and it was outstanding, full of flavor and zest. My wife had the shrimp and scallops and we split a brussel sprout salad. Both were also outstanding. If you want a quieter dinner stay downstairs. I have never had worse service in my life! My very first drink that I got had a hair, or something that looked like a hair in it. It was not mine because I have long hair and it was short and a different color. My husband brought it to our waiter's attention and from that point on, he treated us with complete disrespect. It was near impossible to get his attention to get another drink order and when he did come by, he had the rudest demeanor. Also, he kept looking at my husband and I in utter disgust every time he walked by our table. Anniversary dinner excited about it then it went down hill. Arrived at 7:43 for our 7:45 reservation. Place was packed. Hostess took us up to 2nd floor Main Street view. Took about 4-5 min for the hostess upstairs to seat us. Got seated then.... Nothing. Literally had waiters walk by us not making eye contact for 28min. I even asked one of them if someone was waiting on us. He went over and talked to another waiter they both looked at us and did nothing. In fact 2 minutes later the girl that was talking about us walked right by us to a table of 8 and started taking their order. No eye contact at all. And there was some dude managing floor that looked at us a few times as well... he was like 'sorry' on our way out. Was looking forward to some tasty rack of lamb... First time here and if you type in restaurants in grapevine, this will not appear. You have to type in Mediterranean food. You can take the stairs up or an elevator. This place has a cute ambiance and we had no idea it was ever here. We were seated upstairs when we made a reservation. It was quite relaxing and they have a band play on the weekend. They bring you pita chips with this delicious dip. The service was excellent and I loved the pork chops. It was a nice portion for $34. We don't usually dine out to spend boat loads of money on pricy foods, but this was exceptionally good. My husband got a large salad and wagu meatballs. We love tomato in the meatballs, but this meatballs seem to be overworked and had no texture. It fell flat for us. I had the most amazing experience at Piaf a few days ago! I had a friend in town for a conference who I remembered loves a good wine bar, so I did some research and off we went! Upon arrival, we were asked by the hostess if we had a reservation. We were perplexed by this because it was relatively empty. She informed us that it would shortly fill up quickly. Luckily, we saw some seats open at the bar and headed on over. However, we saw that she was telling the truth. The small bar was filled within what seemed like 20 minutes. Anyway, we came for the happy hour, which included a good selection of wines and I believe a few cocktails. David, our Bartender, recommended that I have the Chenet Rose (sp), which was sparkling and crisp. It was a great choice. We split an order of their Harissa Wings with a tzatziki dip, house fries with a garlic butter spread and the margarita and prosciutto and fig flatbreads. The wings were smokey and spicy with the harissa and had a sweet like flavor. The tzatziki gave it a nice, creamy finish and was an excellent pairing! The house fries were crispy, fried large wedges, with this garlic butter spread that I cannot even describe, other than to say I want it every day of my life! The flatbreads had a fresh mozzarella and a homemade sauce that was excellent. Right before dessert, we met the Manager, Kim. I told her about the excellent service David gave us and the wonderful experience we had! She comped our dessert, which was a salted caramel ice cream over sponge cake (who's name I'm embarrassed to say I could not pronounce). She thanked us for coming and encouraged us to come back, and I shall! My advice, get there early or make reservations in advance. The place is small, I assume by design, with a luxe feel. Dress causally, but step it up a bit. This place lends itself to a more sophisticated atmosphere than a typical bar. Finally, the parking is a real challenge. Main Street gets a lot of traffic and parking is a luxury. We we very lucky to get a spot right in front. Enjoy! read more

My best friend and I were so excited to try this restaurant in Grapevine. I have lived here for 36 years and this place has been on my list. It is in a great location overlooking Main Street Grapevine. The atmosphere was incredible. We sat outside on the patio overlooking the street. We were super excited to order. We decided to share a bunch of appetizers. We ordered the Wild Mushrooms Risotto, Warm Goat Cheese, Fried Calamari and Brussel Sprouts. Wild Mushroom Risotto (5/10) This was good, not great. There were mushrooms and truffle oil but then there was this stringy vegetable mixed in that just made it hard to eat. You couldn't even chew whatever it was. Warm Goat Cheese (1/10) Awful. What even was this? It was a cold ball of goal cheese with 3 pieces of very stale bread. AWFUL. We couldn't even smear the goat cheese on the bread. The bread just broke apart. Fried Calamari (1/10) The WORST calamari I have ever had. The calamari was COLD and very very chewy. By the time the server came back around to check on the us it had been 10 minutes and we were just over it. None of it was eaten. Brussel Sprouts (7/10) Highlight of the meal. These were so good with crunchy nuts and a great sauce. THEN we decided to order the tiramisu. Our server brought a Betty Crocker baking dish to our table and scooped out the tiramisu and PLOPPED it on a plate. It was complete mush. The least appetizing dish I have ever seen. AFTER 15 minutes we were finally checked on and brought our check. Truly left unsatisfied and disappointed for the amount we paid. I will be telling everyone in Grapevine to not try this place AND I will not recommend it to anyone. Hopefully they can make this right and fix these issues. read more

I came here tonight for my friends birthday. The drinks and appetizers were great. Everyone recommended the pork chop so I ordered it medium well (I told the waitress I liked just a little pink). It went downhill once some of the girls inquired about dessert for our friends birthday. They were told they don't do anything special for the birthday, so we just ordered the rose crème brûlée. Then we started witnessing at least three other tables receive a sparkler candle along with dessert for a birthday. When I got the pork chop, it was flavorful and juicy. The restaurant is dimly lit so I couldn't exactly see clearly. I had maybe a third of the pork chop and packed the rest home for my partner to have. When I went home and gave the leftovers to him, he opened it up and asked how I ordered my pork chop. I told him medium well, and that's when he sliced it in half and took these pictures attached. I had no idea I was eating completely raw pork! The other dishes were good and the service was fine aside from the birthday sparkler. "The Perch" upstairs patio lounge is quite the relaxing venue; great views (closed in with heaters when chilly out), indoor/outdoor bar, and great live lounge acts on the weekends...quickly becoming a favorite with locals. I want to love this place, but our experience was a bit disappointing. Two of the four meals our party ordered were very good: the pork chop and the seafood pasta. The chicken kabob was bone dry. The service, while friendly, seemed to forget we were there. We had to get up and track them down just to place our drink order. I know it's a challenging time for restaurants, so it pains me to mark them down for service. Our friends have had great experiences in the past, so we may give it another shot. Started off with a grilled Caesar, didn't love it, it was kinda bland. I tasted my husbands tomato bisque which was really good. ( prob the best thing) I Ordered the filet which was pretty flavorless. I did enjoy the Brussels it came with. Wish I had more amazing to tell you but it was just good. Second time: not great, lunch poke bowl and the rice has to be cooked the day before bc it was hard. Didn't eat it Third time: sad, appetizers only they were a 5. Wanted to try this place for a while since I've lived in the area. Attempted to make a reservation for an anniversary dinner night out. Unfortunately, I attempted to call and was unable to speak to anyone. I went online and was able to make a reservation for 9:00 pm on 3/24. Arrived and saw a small sign on the door with a notice that read "private event" I went to the bartender and asked about my reservation and was told that they are closed and that the whole place was rented out for the night. Understood, and thought that the bartender had a pretty dry attitude about it. Place seemed pretty cool but, was a super let down after making plans and not knowing about their "private event" until I got there. Would have been nice & thoughtful to have made that clear on the website or via "automated message" on their phone line. That experience alone left a poor taste of the place & I don't know if I would attempt to dine there in the future. read more

We were staying at Great Wolf Lodge, on the fence about eating dinner there. I found PIAF on yelp, and I am SO glad we went. The food tasted as good as its presentation. The wait staff was fabulous (thank you, Monty) and the prices were totally reasonable for the experience. I will definitely come back next time we're in grapevine. Plus Main Street in Grapevine is very cool (great location with close parking). We had the charred cauliflower (picture below), the mushroom flatbread, and salmon. The cucumber smash was served in a pint glass and was disappointing for the price and the setting of the restaurant which had a trendier vibe. I had a gin martini and it was extremely watery and had no flavor, and was undrinkable. It's the worst martini I've ever had. My husband asked to sample a wine and they brought the sample in a shot glass. We knew immediately we were not going to eat dinner here any longer. The charcuterie came out and was good so that was a relief but we still opted to just close our tab and go eat dinner somewhere else. We will not be back. read more
