They updated their menu to include Ferrari's homemade pasta! If you want a casual atmosphere and even bring your pup outside on the lounge area - this is the place to be! Happy hour from 4-7 every day (closed on Sunday). Prices for wine and beer can't be beat!

We had a reservation, which is recommended because the restaurant was very busy on a Saturday night in May. We opted to sit on the patio because the weather was gorgeous. I am not sure if the patio is climate controlled in the summer or not. But on that night we were there, the weather was mild so it was very pleasant. They have happy hour on Saturdays so I started with an IPA on tap and the wife had a Prosecco, also for happy hour prices. This is a tapas restaurant so I will try to remember all that we had. Manchego cheese board: excellent. The crisps and jam were perfect with the cheese. Potato torilla: excellent. The flavors melded very well and it was very tasty. It's filling so keep that in mind. Ceviche de jalapeno: excellent. Not too spicy, the shrimp and seafood was fresh with no fishy smell. The plantains were cooked perfectly, not greasy. Brisket on crostini: excellent. Forget the name but they are a winner. Brisket is good quality and the flavors come together nicely. Chicken skewer: excellent. They smartly use chicken thighs so the meat is juicy and tender. Tuna tartare: good. It actually was my least favorite. The quality was very good but it did not have much flavor. I needed some heat, some acid, something to give it a kick. We were absolutely stuffed and did not try dessert. Our server Marcellus was excellent. Very helpful and pleasant throughout. He never disappeared for too long. Overall, we had a great meal and will undoubtedly return here again.

I asked for extra bread so I could taste more of the sauce after the vegetables were gone, ha! And by coincidence, the 3 vegetables tapas were what the waiter recommended. Food I tried Roasted cauliflower with green goddess - best sauce imo I couldn't get enough of how flavorful and buttery(?) it was. Really liked the texture contrast too, I'll get this again Asparagus with pistachio pesto - the in house made pesto fell off the asparagus easily and there was a bed of it underneath. I ended up putting them on the bread too, haha Chicken thigh with aji verde - this is a must get no matter what, incredibly fresh chicken I would have every day if I could. But alas, I don't live near here. Broccolini with lemon garlic - the orange sauce was also delicious but not as amazing as the others. I would still get this again though! Olive oil cake with sea salt - they flip the olive oil cake several times so the apricot syrup permeates. This time it was a little dry in some areas and too moist in some, so it was different than last time. But this is what you want to take your dining experience home with you Potatoes with aioli and tomato sauce - nice and crispy and the mayo has sherry vinaigrette during the emulsion process which was a nice kick

I will start with the good - the Wednesday happy hour for the wine carafe was great and we enjoyed the wine. Our server was kind and attentive and recommended a wine for our taste. That being said, the food was below average. I was warned about the food but I wanted to try for myself and yikes. The breaded cauliflower and shrimp tempura tasted worse than the dishes across the street at the movie theater. Really just all fried and oily and not tasty. We got the charcuterie for 3-4 people, and there were pieces of salami that only came with 2 pieces. There should be at least 4 pieces of each to share. The pecans and the pita that came with this were stale. What saved the day was the blackberry burrata salad (even though it barely should be considered a salad). The pizza was pleasant! We went on a rainy day, so we had to sit inside and the ambiance was not great. Not a wine bar feel. Luckily I was in great company and had a good time with wine! The only time I would ever come back is on a sunny day so I can sit on their nice patio and only to have their wine.

Great flavor and plenty of clams, mussels and shrimp. We also really enjoyed the crispy pork - nice little kick in the sauce and the perfect amount of marbling in the meat. The carpaccio was Texas-sized. Speaking of Texas-sized, do not skip the award-winning coconut cake. It is on the pricey side for a dessert but it easily feeds 4 and yes, it is that good! Our server, Tiffani, was outstanding. She was very attentive throughout our meal, and when the Rioja we wanted was out, she poured my wife several samples to help her decide on another bottle - we ended up w an excellent easy-drinking Paso Robles Cabernet. This place is definitely worth the trip!

We opted for the tapas-style sharing, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. They recommended the shrimp, which was hands-down the highlight of the meal! However, the rest of the menu fell a bit short. With tapas, you expect every small bite to pack a punch, but the flavors here leaned more 'middle-of-the-road' than standout. My biggest issue, however, was the atmosphere. While I always appreciate a spotless restaurant, the staff was cleaning during service, and the overwhelming smell of bleach and Fabuloso totally took over the dining room. It's hard to enjoy a meal with strong chemical fumes in the air. Overall: fantastic staff and location, but the food and dining environment need some fine-tuning.

We arrived early and grabbed pre-dinner cocktails on the patio, which honestly set the tone for the evening. The fire pit tables + evening atmosphere were perfect. We kept it classic with Old Fashioneds and martinis, and both were very well executed. Simple, balanced, and clearly made by someone who knows what they're doing. There was also a blueberry graham cracker cocktail (can't remember the name, unfortunately) that was surprisingly delicious and easily could've been dessert in a glass. The tasting itself was an 8-course menu and absolutely incredible. Since this was a one-night pop-up, I won't go into detail on the food, but every course was thoughtful, creative, and genuinely delicious. One of those meals where you're excited for the next plate the second the last one's cleared. Service really stood out. The team was attentive without hovering, cleaned up seamlessly between courses, and made sure our drinks were never empty. They also offered solid wine pairings that complemented the menu really well and elevated the experience overall. One extra thing that really sealed it for me: after dinner, the second chef Taylor and the owner/manager Tanner came over and hung out with us for a bit. As someone who's a bit of a foodie nerd, I genuinely appreciate when chefs and operators take the time to talk food, concepts, and the thought behind the menu. It made the experience feel personal and intentional, not just transactional. If this pop-up is any indication of what Rye is capable of, it's definitely a place worth returning to. Great atmosphere, great drinks, and a team that clearly cares about the experience. Would absolutely come back.

You'll find other such fancy words on the Rye menu. I'm warming you up. I'm personally restaurant illiterate, so wasn't this place's target audience. And it didn't help that my fiancée and I had just come from Four Day Weekend Improv down the street, so I was preoccupied with questioning whether I could make 200 people laugh on command like they did. My fiancée, on the other hand, IS restaurant literate. And she loved it here. While my reaction to the "Icelandic Hotdog" on the menu was to groan, she got excited at the prospect of a bitesized piece of foreign sausage. When my cocktail came out with an 8" inch ice rectangular prism in it, I was more excited about whipping it around the glass than I was about drinking it. My fiancée commented on the "notes of parsley." Regardless, Rye is great. Lower Greenville needed a fine dining experience that appeals to foodies and cocktail lovers, and Rye is that place. Great service and decor too, truly a well run restaurant.
