First off this is a very tiny boutique store on Sunset Strip located just off Sunset & Fairfax next door to The Griddle Cafe. Parking is in the rear so don't bother paying for parking on the street (save your quarters) and use the back entrance. However if you come through the front there's a small area for you to sit. So I enter the building and explain in detail to the gentleman my needs. He explained the process of building a mold of & measuring my foot. I then picked a heal, shoe tip shape and how far the boot went up my leg. I chose more of an ankle cut boot so it wouldn't bunch up my pants. We reviewed many snake skins and settled on rattlesnake for my boots. Now the cobbler comes out and measures my feet and draws a map of both for design. A few weeks later I come back in for a review and then a few weeks later my boots were done. Now the price for all this was $1500 but I have a pair of boots no one else owns. Side note this is the shoemaker of the Hollywood elite. Had no clue when I decided to come in but the make stage boots for KISS ( The Band ) , Lemmy of Motörhead, all of Princes stage boots. If your in the back take a look at the wall of foot molds and it's a who's who of celebrity's feet. I'm beyond satisfied with my boots and will get more made up. Maybe snakeskin shoes next hehehe.

Based on that, I drove to the store expecting a straightforward transaction. Instead, I waited an unusually long time before anyone helped me. When the owner finally came out, she quoted me nearly double the price I had been given over the phone. There was no clear explanation for the increase and no apology for the discrepancy. It felt like the original quote meant nothing. I chose not to argue. I paid for the repair and left because my time is more valuable than debating over a relatively small amount of money. This review is not about the extra dollars. It's about honesty, consistency, and trust. When you're dealing with jewelry, diamonds, and valuable personal items, integrity should be the foundation of the business. Once that trust is lost, it's very difficult to earn back. I will never return to this store, and I cannot recommend it based on my experience. If the owner reads this review, I hope she reflects on how this situation was handled. The issue wasn't the price--it was the lack of transparency and the feeling that the agreement changed only after I was standing in the store. When I reached out, they told me I could expect to receive the watch in January. I paid for the watch in December. Keep in mind, I thought January was a weird time frame considering I called all the authorized dealers in SoCal and they all told me the watch was several months out. Dejaun team took my payment and told me the end of January latest. After having to reach out to them multiple times about expected lead times, they told me it would be closer to end of February. Every time I'd reach out to them via their text line, because you can't get anyone on the phone, I'd have to text like 2 or 3 days in a row to get someone to respond. Finally, here in march they reached out and got the watch delivered this week. If you've seen my reviews, I'm always fair to people on here. If I could leave any feedback for this team, set realistic expectations don't tell people what they want to hear. If you have a messaging service, make sure people actually respond. At the end of the day they did get me the product I was looking for, they simply missed everything in between. I stepped out of my normal guys to get this watch largely due to them being transparent and telling me it was a ways out at the time. On this particular visit I wanted to have my late mother's engagement ring restyled. The ring was a simple emerald cut diamond with two baguettes. The sales person took the ring to the designer and within 10 minutes I had a "sketch" of what he wanted to do with it. I was asked if it met with my approval. It was love at first sight. He designed a "flame of fire" made out of Blaze diamonds around the center stone. Then the emerald would be set in a raised setting, keep the baguettes, and add two small diamonds. When I received the finished piece 6 weeks later I could not believe that this was once my mother's ring! The stones were seamlessly placed together and it felt like i had purchased a new diamond! The work is guaranteed against defects for a year and they have a repair shop on the premises. What I have found interesting about the work of Bez Ambar is that he make slight changes in his designs which earns the trademark, "a subtle difference yet a world apart." Although engagement rings are most popular, Bez can design wedding bands pendants, bracelets, earrings or anything you would want custom made. One of the things I enjoyed seeing in the store was how you can stack or pair rings with knife edged or bookend bands as they call them. These bands can enhance any diamond into something breathtaking. Bez Ambar has been known for the Blaze diamond but recently I learned he patented a new style called the Divine Cut diamond. I got to see one in the store and its brilliance shines even in dark places! As a parting gift they gave me a catalog signed by Bez himself to take home with me. I truly love my new ring! It is my hope to return and pair it with a band made out of Divine cut diamonds. It is truly amazing that a magnificent piece of work begins with a simple sketch.

The manager was absolutely taken aback by how beautiful and unique the wedding band looked and said that in 20 years as a jeweler, he had never seen a wedding band so beautiful and so well constructed. People come from near and far to see the great Hollywood Boulevard…read more I suspect it disappoints many hoping to see the glimmer of a shining Hollywood street. However, you won't find that here, Hollywood is about creating magic in a warehouse. If you want to tangibly see fancy and richness, go to Beverly Hills. That being said, I LOVE cruising on Hollywood Boulevard and walking it once in awhile. There is so much fun to be had, even if it is a bit more gritty than the rest of town. You will see many of our unhomed while on Hollywood Boulevard. Kindness or if you can't be kind, simply ignoring is best. Don't bother arguing if someone cuts you off, or bumps into you. I saw a cowboy try to do this with one of our unhomed yesterday, it didn't bode well for said cowboy. And if you go to the 7-11, they may be blaring loud opera or classical music to keep people from hanging out outside. But even at the loud volume, it blends in with the hip hop & banda blasted by people selling on the streets. Occasionally, there is a band of unhomed people performing, as well. Last week I saw a person VERY into their puppet rendition of Little Shop of Horrors. Just mind your business as you walk past the security guard outside of the Church of Scientology still hoping random stragglers wander in to learn the wonders of the great Science Fiction author L. Ron Hubbard. Not sure Tom Cruise has the sanity rating he once did though. You'll also see the Hollywood Walk of Fame - stars past and present with sidewalk stars to immortalize their status. Most you won't know if you're a Millennial or younger - I sure don't! But Tupac got his star in front of Amoeba and near him is Dr. Dre! So there you go my fellow Millennial babies. You'll even find a bunch of tourist traps you might enjoy! Ripley's Believe it Or Not, the Wax Museum, old chubby men dressed as Disney characters, see a Disney movie premiere at El Capitan (they are GREAT), shop at the Ovation (they have everything), hope on a tour bus to see homes of the rich & famous, the Hollywood museum, a few weird pop-up instagram photog museum, catch a bunch of celebs on a red carpet at the Chinese Theatre and souvenir shops galore - there's surely something for everyone. I LOVE HOLLYWOOD BOULEVARD! I love everything about LA and that includes this beautifully imperfect street full of fascinating humans and interesting spots.
