It's okay, over price, quality was substandard,...can't say much...just ate half a pizza

Love this place. My wife and I order here pretty regularly. Not only is the pizza, wings, knots, and other menu items here as delicious as we've had, but the workers are friendly and remember you, and make it a very inviting place. I must say, as a Chef; this Linguine and White Clam Sauce was on point. I have not eaten such a good pasta dish in a while, besides my own. Even though, I added Oregano for color and some Onion Powder with Himalayan Salt. But, Great job on this dish; I will definitely order it again. read more

Solid spot, not the best but definitely still good. I recommend the chicken cutlet slice , a plain slice, or the amazing buffalo chicken garlic knots which are literally out of this world . this place is great. period. How can you tell a good pizza joint? order a spinich - garlic - mushroom pizza. Two of the three ingredients can easily over-wet a pie, but they produce a pie that is perfectly dry, flavorful and fresh. Crust is the right thickness, not too much cheese, but enough to satisfy this Midwest boy, fast and friendly service. The sandwiches KILL. Overall a hidden gem that is well worth seeking out. Ordered on seamless. The pizza was good, however the order took over two hours to arrive. We ordered at 5:45pm, our estimated delivery time was 6:30-6:40. After calling the restaurant four times, our food eventually arrived at 8pm. The restaurant did not do anything to try and rectify the situation, simply just stated that "they had a lot of deliveries." I'll get my pizza elsewhere from now on. read more

I want to begin by stressing this place runs the table with gentleman's 4.5 (if you check in with the Swiss judge) but I didn't want to round up because I was raised better than that. This place isn't just friendly and chill and speedy, the pizza is great! Not the same caliber as some of the finer pizzeria's in Manhattan and Brooklyn but it ain't trying to be, neither...a little bit thicker crust with a great selection of toppings for a reasonable price. I ate here at least once a week.. they used to customize a salad for me after i'd stop in on my way from the gym. Grilled chopped chicken with loads of veggies. their pizza is decent and a pie is pretty cheap. great service and fresh ingredients. nothing to write home to Mom about but for a local pizza pit, definitely ranks high compared to other local joints. read more

This is our local pizza joint. It's the perfect, no frills NY Pizza. I especially love the white pizza, the seasoning is just perfect! The cheese pizza is also perfect, thin, great sauce and just the right seasoning. No only is this place delicious but the staff is wonderful! Great pizza! I had a the white pizza and the tomato basil mozzarella slice. Both were absolutely wonderful, but a little on the greasy side. It wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, but still pretty great. Because of the greasiness, I wouldn't eat it everyday....maybe every other day :-) read more

This is my go to place in Astoria for pizza, as it's the closest place to me and it's delicious. It's a simple pizza place with a good variety of foods. Most of the food is the typical food you will fine at any good NYC pizza place (Garlic Knots, zeppole, eggplant rolls). The pizza itself is great, typical NYC slice, not to thin or think, good sauce and cheese. I enjoy the pasta dishes, they are cheap, huge and very tasty, often slightly overcooked though. The vodka sauce is rich and delicious. They also have a few Mexican items such as burrito's I have yet to try. The guys working there are very nice. Recommended for pasta and pizza. read more

Mediocre. We were in a pasta mood and Piazza was the only place that had everything we wanted all on the same menu. And it is a broad menu - but what it has in variety, it lacks in quality. Everything we ordered was just ok, nothing inspiring. And it didn't heat up well as leftovers. read more

Definitely try the square slice with tomato mozz and basil, it's fantastic. The others are good, but that's the best I've had so far. I started eating here about a year ago when I moved near Steinway. At that time the food was decent and cheep. It has been going down hill since then. The pizza crust is too thick and can't be folded once they reheat it. It just cracks. So since their Italian food stinks I figured I would try their Mexican food. First off the only reason I'm even giving this place one star is because the delivery was super fast and prompt. I ordered just a basic plain cheese pizza and let me tell you it was the absolute worst pizza I have ever tasted. I don't know what these people use as far as spices go but my boyfriend said their pizza tasted like the bottom of a shoe, aka rubber. There was hardly any sauce on the pizza and if there was it's like they drained it of all the spices. I don't understand how a place like this is still in business. I ordered from here off of GrubHub when my boyfriend and I wanted sort of 'mom and pop' pizza instead of dominos or pizza hut, like we usually get. I am super happy we did. The pizza was good, but the wings? Can't speak highly enough of them! we seriously love the wings because of whatever sauce they use. They offer exceptional food , Only thing wrong with them is that they havent updated their online prices. The website states 5.75 for a chicken parm when its actually 6.50 . Update the website with the correct prices and they'd be 5 stars . Try the chicken and Rice its amazing !! :) read more
