We hired PIC Home Pro Oct 3rd 2023 to convert our upstairs bath to a walk in shower, install new customer supplied toilets in two bathrooms and a new shower door for the downstairs bathroom and tub fixtures supplied by customer. I have already posted a review for the downstairs work, now I want to let you know about the upstairs work and the unfinished work in the bathroom downstairs. So 5 months after the contract was signed the upstairs bathroom was started on 3/2/24 PIC's switched out the 2 mix match toilets so they both had the same color base and tanks. They fixed the shower door that kept opening when showering . However, they still did not come up with a solution to rectify the 1/2 x 3/4 chip on my tub. They removed old tub and installed a walk in shower upstairs. Work was a little sloppy but could live with it. However, the next day after the work was done I went to measure my bathroom radiator cover which was rusty and peeling and needed replacing only to find they had permanently glued the rusty cover to the new shower wall trim. 3/4 Call placed to Amanda M , who I had been instructed to work with for this project . No answer. Sent her a text message regarding the radiator cover and sent her pictures with no response. Outreach to Amanda again on 3/5 and 4/5/24 with no response from Amanda. Spoke with AAron on 4/5 who told me he didn't want to intervene. Amanda finally called me back 4/924 and told me she was going to look into it. I went back and forth with Amanda, Aaron and others from PIC with no results They finally sent out some installers end of 6/2024 to discuss a fix for the radiator cover with no solution. Spoke to the supervisor Adimar who stated he would follow up with PIC. As of 7/23 I did not hear back from anyone. Called Adimar again , discussed the fact that I felt I have no choice but to seek legal advice to get the work completed. Adimar says he would call PIC. Afterwards I received a call from a gentleman who says his name is Paul and that he is taking over for Amanda and Aaron to resolve some old issues. Says he discussed a fix with Adimar and tried to explain it to me. Told him I would like to see what he was talking about and what it would look like before I agree. Once again he is going to check with Adimar and get back to me. That was 7/29/24 and to date no calls! Again I may have to seek legal advice. I would try to have a private contractor fix it bug then I would loose my warranty. I have not been able to complete my bathroom remodel because of this, my bathroom looks worse than it did before the shower install with a unsightly, rusty radiator cover and a shower was trim glued over my wall tiles , read more

Worst Customer service! It's been multiple weeks since they did the installation and it is not complete yet. The shower doors were not installed and the wrong showerhead was put in. I have contacted PIC Home Pros customer service on 5 separate occasions to get an installation date, no one has followed up with an answer. Amanda the director of operations contacted and promised an email and follow-up, but I received nothing until I put up a negative review. I still haven't gotten a timeline or email. The installation staff were fine, they made several errors, that caused leaking pipes and damaged tiles. They rectified everything relatively quickly but I found some minor dame to my basement walls and they did not clean up everything. There was a lack of coordination from the company with the repairs. They showed while I was at work, no call or warning as to the time or even day. read more

Bought windows in early March 2023 I was told the waiting time was 6 to 9 weeks . Finally got some windows installed on June 26 one window was ordered wrong by them . Today I'm still waiting for te reorder window with no date when it will be installed My advice to anyone stay away from PIC read more

Shower Great experience start to finish. Sales representative explained everything, asked and listened, gave options, and understood he was one of 4 when we told him we would call after listening to all. The installers were great. On time, and had everything they needed, quality workmanship and compete cleanup. Customer service before and after was great, answered all questions, or had one in a reasonable time. Maybe I was just unlucky but my entire dealing with PIC Home Pros has been a nightmare. After deciding we needed a new shower - we were impressed with the shower setup that PIC proposed and while expensive, it seemed the quality would be worth it. After being told that the shower would take 4 - 5 weeks to be installed.. it grew to about 4 to 5 months for the initial install. When the shower was finally installed they discovered the door wouldn't fit. I get it - things happen I wasn't overly annoyed. Another month goes by... the new door arrives. Doesn't fit. I get a string of apologies from the contractor on site and he lets me know they're going order another door today and rush ship it. Another month goes by.... the new new door arrives. Doesn't fit. At this point PIC home pros is saying that I still need to pay for the entire shower and it's my job to get new financing since the financing I originally agreed to and signed for expired. All the delays up to this point have been by PIC Home Pro's and suddenly I'm the bad guy. Eventually they had to contract another shower company to rip the entire new shower out and install another one. Who, thankfully, got it right the first time. Basically - nine months later after I signed the original agreement I had a new shower. Shortly after the new shower was installed I was notified by my credit monitoring service that PIC opened up a new line of credit in my name with a finance company and attempted to charge the remainder of the balance. (All without my approval mind you.) Then immediately sent me an email threatening legal action if I didn't authorize the new account and immediately pay - they'd make it a legal matter and put a lien on my house. We needed all new windows in our house. ordered in July, was told they would be installed by September. They were not installed until January. After they installed them, they left all of the stickers on, they left a mess inside and outside my house (including cigarette butts), and some of the windows wouldn't open. It took forever to have someone come out and fix the horrible job they did. Now, 6 months later, all of the caulking is peeling and cracking. Once again, it's like pulling teeth trying to get someone to come fix it. And they offer a lifetime warrant- hopefully they won't be around that long!! STEER CLEAR! read more

I filled out a form on homeadvisor.com looking for an estimate. They connected me to PIC Home Pros. No idea why since they're located an hour and a half from my house. After I filled out the form, they called me 3 times in 6 minutes. And then 2 more times in 2 hours. Since then they've called me 3-4 times every single day. They've left me 1 message. This is definitely not the type of company I would ever want to do business with. read more

I am going to write two versions of this review, abridged and unabridged-- I personally prefer a short review when looking for work, but this situation was so horrible, start to finish, I feel it is irresponsible to not share the relevant details, in hopes of saving somebody else a large amount of time, money, an frustration. long: I sat with a salesman from PIC at the beginning of Oct., to have my existing shower surround (~approx 7 years old) replaced. After the meeting we agreed on a price, $9,700, with us doing the demo, and without a shower door (we found a more attractive one online) and said we had one more meeting with another company and would let him know by EOD. He then offered to purchase the shower door we were planning on, if we agreed then and there. He "checked" with his superior to ensure the $975 door was doable, said yes, and so did we, and he watched us purchase the door immediately, and collected the $1,000 deposit. Here is where the issues began, and never ended. - Initial call from office comes to begin 3 payment plan, we ask for an updated sales ticket, minus the $975, and she said she wasn't sure and would call back, but the first payment needed to be made to 1. Ensure our "custom" pieces would be done on time, and 2. to lock in our install date of "late November." We paid, and waited 2 weeks for a call back. During this time we received every excuse why we couldn't be called back with an updated total: "Elaine has the flu," "The office is short staffed," for two weeks. Week 3, $2500 in, we finally receive the call for the updated total, to be told the shower door couldn't be reimbursed, with zero explanation. I of course was annoyed it took so long, just to be told we were lied to, so I requested a call from the owner, Lincoln. Of course it never came, and I was told 5 days in a row he was in a meeting and would call me back. He never did. After the initial lie, and the insanely poor to non existent customer service, I requested a refund. I no longer had any interest at all in working with them, but was of course told that it "wasn't possible because my custom pieces had gone into production," and would be charged 33% regardless. - Here is where the real insanity started, the way in which this office spoke to me, was like we were in divorce court. It was an insane thing to endure from a company you hired for a luxury item. So after being told I wasn't receiving the credit for the door, and that I was literally STUCK working with them because despite their many errors this fee was unwaivable, we continued. Then all the predictable issues came-- moved installation back twice (our custom pieces were stuck on a truck, ha), continued no call backs etc. - Installation day: 3.5 months after initial sale, man shows up, alone, and lets us know the custom base doesn't fit with our shower doors, and can't be done today. I start asking questions -- if you had the door dimensions, and the dimensions of the base it came with why is this happening? Why did the sales person assure us the opposite was true-- custom would be the best fit because you made it just for our space and our doors. He comes back in from the phone outside and says, "actually it will work," and gets back to work. Confused, I sigh and say okay, and he gets back to work. 20 minutes later he says that the drain doesn't line up, and he doesn't have a tool to cut concrete, tells me to call the office, and is packed up and gone in their unmarked van within 5 minutes, my "custom" shower parts included. To wrap this story up, many phone calls, and 48 hours later, they sent 2 men (impossible they thought the original 1 could do it), got it done, and it looks fine, zero custom pieces. Nobody once apologized for moving the install multiple times (both times on a Friday night before a Monday am install), and nobody ever explained why the original person brought completely different parts than the second duo that installed, or how one person who was extremely green, could have been expected to do what it took two senior people to do, literally all day. Short: They lie, blatantly a lot. Although nothing could've justified the process, even up until the very end, it was terrible, and a horrifying time suck. Guy came over, was kinda rude, I told him I didn't like price.said would knock off so much, if I bought that night, which is completely a ploy, sure tells everyone that! We hired PIC to do a bathroom renovation, we were told that completing the job by 12/1 would be "no problem" but they kept delaying causing the work to be done weeks after it was promised. The quality of the work was terrible, the toilet seat was cracked when installed and the toilet itself wobbles. I expressed my unhappiness to them at several points and they made little effort to rectify it. I was told the owner of the company would call me but he never did which speaks volumes about how he treats his customers. On top of it, when they came to install the shower door one of the workers threw an empty beer bottle in our garden before leaving. We paid a lot of money for this renovation and it was absurdly overpriced for terrible work and terrible service. This company will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you roped into a contract. Do not hire them and definitely do not sign anything! read more
