Last time my family went in on a late Sunday afternoon for a quick pizza; definitely not a great place for a family pizza night. Bar.

If you like sports, you should like this place! They even have TVs in the bathroom so you don't miss anything. And now, they split the restaurant. 2/3 is still the original Picasso's with TVs EVERYWHERE (including 5 tables with a widescreen AT the table), a pool table, and a jukebox. The other 1/3 is called "Retro". It is a tobacco bar separated by a huge glass partition and has two free dart boards, a poker table, Playstation3, and TVs everywhere! You cannot smoke your own cigs and you cannot buy a cig and leave with it. But, you can smoke a cigarette or cigar and drink a beer at the same time (indoors). Not too many places you can do that these days. I don't go late night too often so I cannot defend the statement about the crowd difference confidently, but I have been there at night and have never had a problem. A nice combination of English bar and Italian restaurant! And they did it right - the ambiance is English (many TVs with sports etc.), while the food is Italian (good thin crust pizza for example). The pizza has still room for improvement though (it's not the thinnest crust that I've had, like the ones in Italy, and it felt a bit oily). That's the only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars. The place is OK for the kids too, because some tables have small TVs with cartoons etc., so kids are not bored watching baseball or rugby. read more

Great place! The food is excellent and the bar staff knows how to put on a party. Even tho the Pats lost the Superbowl the staff kept the vibe alive and we still had a great time! Karaoke, sports events, trivia on Tuesday and comedy Wednesday! Nice!!! read more

Desperate time brought me here. They have never been good, but we hadn't been in a long time and they were the only place serving fodd, we hoped for a surprise. Wrong. Got the eggplant sandwich and it was certainly frozen little eggplants deep fried and then shoved into a large sub roll. Little to no sauce, so it was dry. Would have asked for more sauce, but it tasted terrible, probably out of a can, so I didn't bother. The only reason it got 2 stars is because they had trivia, which kept us occupied. The gourmet pizzas are great and the service is quick. It's a laid back sports bar atmosphere. The wings also come in large orders. If you get delivery it usually arrives within a half hour which is pretty good for gourmet pizzas. read more

I like the calzones/fries, not a big fan of their pizza its too soft/mushy for my taste i like thin and crunchy. Been awhile since I went in usually do take out but its a good place to catch the game and know there will be a crowd to socialize with. read more

We ordered four pieces and 2 orders of wings they brought us two pizzas &three orders of wings and said oh sorry we messed up nobody tried to fix the problem or even bring back what we had really ordered horrible don't even go there not worth your time either make it at home or go elsewhere!!! This place knows fun! In the past they've had Comedy shows, Drink and Dabble paint nights...it would be nice if they brought those back. They still have Trivia Night, DJ and more. My boyfriend and I just moved into the neighborhood and decided to try out a local pizza place to find a new favorite. While we found that the pizza was delicious, we couldn't help but notice that the lack of crust in the middle pieces made it a little soggy. We also didn't like the sweet potato fries (overcooked and way too soft) or the spinach pie (too much spinach and olive oil, no seasoning). I went by Picasso to try it out again this time wasn't as bad as the last time . Unfortunately they had some painting thing going on where they didn't have enough seats so we had to sit at the bar. The food was good . Only thing I can say is it still took on the longer side for the food to come out and out of the whole staff I could say there was only one girl that was very nice and attentive I can't say that for the rest of the staff . I went to this place yesterday afternoon about 4:00pm (Monday), the service from the bartender was one of the best I will give them that much, but the food was just ok and is extremely overpriced for where they are and the quality of the food. $13.00 is way to much for a mediocre medium pizza. The pizza came out very undercooked and the toppings, well lets just say that you don't get much for your money.This place must think its in downtown or the airport to be charging these prices. Especially when there are pizza places all around them for so much less money and to me better quality. The bar is very well taken care of with still high prices but that's not the bartenders fault just the greedy owner that thinks he/she needs to make such a huge profit on everything they sell. All in all its a ok place to visit considering the bartender was great but plan on spending a decent amount of cash if you do go. read more

If you're looking for a neighborhood pizza pub, this is your place! But it's not just AWESOME pizza. There's a big menu with tons more selections...the wings are amazing, calzones stuffed...and for the calorie counter, try their salads! There's always something happening, too. It may be karaoke or a pool tournament or the Sox/Patriots on one of their many TV's, or trivia (my personal favorite). The staff are friendly and attentive. The prices are more than reasonable. My favorite place in town to get pizza and wings. Dough and ingredients always taste very fresh. Delivery takes a little longer than Dominoes but it's definitely worth the wait. The pub itself is also great. You wouldn't be able to tell by the outside but it's quite large inside and has a ton of TV's. Large HD plasma screens all around and smaller TV's at each table. This place is AWESOME!!! Never actually Ben there (always have it delivered) but every time I do its always hot, correct, and on time. Never tried a menu item I didn't like. Also never experienced any rudeness "referred to in previous posts" by anybody from here. Then again I always tip the guys at least $10 for a quarter mile drive. The food was good. The service was not. Waitress was extremely rude to us and would not help us after we had a question about the bill. Got charged 5 dollars each, after we ate because of the WWE viewing. Waitress told us we had to pay 5 dollars because of the WWE viewing and said that there was signs posted all over the restaurant and on social media but when we looked for the sign that we were going to get charged, we couldn't find it. Went back to talk to waitress and she was completely rude saying it was posted "over there" and pointed to the door (with attitude). Talked to manager about it and he was very apologetic and refunded ten dollars for the amount we paid. He said that the posters were taken down earlier that day and apologized for the confusion, but it was still a process. Liked the manager. Waitress was extremely rude and didn't apologize once. If I go there again, I will make sure I get a different server. read more

Great pizza, great prices,,, i like my toppings and they have a masterpiece ,create your own for up to 6 toppings and it costs the same as if i got 4... I Like that fact that there's 3 sections of the restaurant.. There's the kitchen for take out,then there's the Dinning room filled with tv's and music,,then if you want to have a smoke you can walk into a cigar bar lounge.. Love the pizza! I have tried many of Picasso's gourmet pizzas and they are all pretty much delicious. The place has plenty of plazma TVs, they also have PS2 at some tables, which is great for entertaining your kids. The staff is friendly and useful. While the parking is awkward in front of the building, there is also an additiolal parking lot on the side, which I find easier to get in or get out. I'm not a beer drinker, but couldn't help but notice that they had really good selection of tap beers. It is a great place to watch sports. And, almost forgot to mention that honey hot wings is a MUST to try!! read more

This is probably my toughest review to write so far...because this place really has two different crowds and thus is like two different places. Go in on a Sunday afternoon during football season,during any Yankees- Red Sox game and there is probably no better sports bar in RI. Plasma screens everywhere carrying every game,good food at reasonable prices, pool tables an x box for customers to play with,Buzztime trivia...they really have everything you want. the crowd is a mix from 21 to 50's with some families during the afternoons...that's the good.Then you go in some nights...the crowd is 21-25 and the servers seem more intent on making money than being responsible...serving people until they get sloppy...i've witnessed more than a few scuffles of people with "beer muscles". I really wanted to rank this place higher...but let's put it this way...during the day this place is a great pub...at night it's a bar...and those of us who have been around know the difference. read more

Not a fan of their pizza, it's very chewy/doughy. This is because the pizza dough is prepped and panned with sauce and cheese ahead of time (sauce and cheese means it has to be kept refrigerated). When they get an order they pull it out of the fridge, add the necessary toppings, then fire it in the oven. Not having the dough room temp before it goes in the oven drastically changes the quality of the pizza and it takes the dough longer to cook. This is the reason why the pizza comes out dark on top and the crust is chewy instead of crispy. Get a calzone instead. Also, the kitchen guys will cash out to-go orders, answer phones, and then go right back to cooking without washing their hands. Wake up guys, money is filthy! On the bright side, their honey hot wing sauce is phenomenal. Lots of room for improvement at Picasso's, but I'll be back, hope to see you guys washing your hands after handling cash! The pizza was OK. I had the white veggie, and couldn't taste any ... though there was supposed to be. The service lacked, but they totally made up for it by comping a round. As they admitted weren't staffed for how busy they got so I get that. What I don't understand is, I thought smoking wasn't allowed in restaurants/bars in RI unless TR. Ordered a bbq chicken pizza after looking at the online menu which states the pizza comes with "onions, bacon, Bbq chicken cheddar and mozzarella cheese". Got home to eat the pizza and noticed there was mushrooms on it. I went back to the online menu to make sure I didn't over look the items on the pizza and like I thought it didn't say it came with mushrooms. So I called them back and asked them if the pizza contained mushrooms and the guy who answered the phone was completely rude, barely letting me finish my sentence telling me he was looking at their menu right now and it says mushrooms (talking to me like I'm a moron). He never allowed me the chance to tell him it was their online menu i was looking at. Pizza was great (other than the mushrooms), but they might want to make some changes to their online menu and more importantly their customer service skills. read more

Picasso's is a local pizza/ sports bar. This is a loud outgoing place so if this isn't for you don't be surprised you don't like it. Not a big fan of their pizza personally but if you like classic greek pizza then def give it a try. The atmosphere is great for game day and I highly recommend the honey hot, that is the reason for the 4 stars on this review. Can't find it many places and I have made resturants make it because it is so good. For bar food, it is good and with all the TVs, video games at each table and even the smoking section, you can find something to do here. read more

I've ordered from them a few times over the past four years and no matter how many second chances I give them the food has just gotten worse and worse. Maybe it's better if you eat there but tonight I had the worst pizza I have ever partially eaten delivered to my house. It was undercooked, salty and cold. I ordered mushroom and bacon and although I didn't find any bacon I did find some stray green peppers that probably bounced off a different pizza onto mine. The box was crushed, it actually looked like someone sat on it so all the cheese was stuck to the top. I'm not only writing this because I'm irritated, it was my own fault but so no one else wastes their money on a disappointing pie.
