Excellent food and drinks. Always a good time. One of our favorite spots. Always something happening at Picasso's.

Ordered cheese quesadillas. What I got was a big soggy blob of cheese. It was inedible. Whoever made this and put it in the container like this obviously didn't give two craps about customer service and satisfaction

In town for the night and we had ordered takeout, which was the western pizza, with some wings (honey hot & teriyaki) and mozz sticks. All the food was delicious, ESPECIALLY the pizza. The employees were super friendly upon arrival, and my food was ready to go before the time they suggested. I most definitely would recommend them!!

    Chicken cutlet grinder

Ordered a chicken cutlet grinder, and this is what I got. A lame chicken finger roll with a ton of mayonnaise, 2 pieces of lettuce, and a couple of pieces of tomato. For $10. Major disappointment. No effort whatsoever. I will never order here again.

Best pizza in Warwick and nice cold beer. Wings are great too. What else could you want?

Great food and great service. The staff seems to go above and beyond each time we have been. Great place for any sporting event also.

She showed me to my table, brought a carafe of water, and welcomed me in. I was quickly welcomed by Sergio, my server, who shared the special and the soup of the day. Once I ordered my soda I took in the ambiance of the bar, new lights, and the rest of the restaurant. It's not a large building but they make every inch count. Now, the reason you're reading this review- THE FOOD. I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich with a Caesar Salad. The chicken (photo below) was perfectly cooked, topped with hot honey, slaw, pickles, and ranch then placed on a soft brioche bun. The meal was reasonably priced as well at $33 which included tip. I will absolutely be back to the Shanty next time I'm in town.

The restaurant wasn't too busy, but there was a steady crowd. People were either dining in or picking up to-go orders. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, so there are plenty of areas to dine. The bartender was friendly and helpful. I decided to go with the seared salmon, Brussels sprouts, and corn risotto. Thankfully, it wasn't much of a wait because I was hungry. My food came out fresh and hot. Everything was really delicious. My only complaint was there were a few flies swarming around me, which made my dining experience less enjoyable. I spent most of my time trying to swat them away. The bartender even moved me to another spot, but they still followed me. While I really enjoyed my food and the service, it might be a good idea for them to invest in small table fans to keep the flies away. Otherwise, my food was tasty, and the service was great!

The moment we stepped inside, it had that classic neighborhood bar feel & was bursting with character & authenticity. The vibe is no frills, down-to-earth & completely unpretentious. Just the essentials: good food at a great price, full bar & staff that knows what they're doing. Regulars chat like old friends & first-timers get a look but fit right in. Hubby zeroed in on the snail salad listed on the whiteboard & couldn't resist ordering it. It ended up being the thinnest-shaved scungilli either of us has ever eaten! Was it the best snail salad I've ever had (Uncle Tony's in Cranston still has that rank for me)? No... but it was super tender & flavorful. Would we order it again? Yes. A quick heads-up: it's cash-only, but fortunately, there's an ATM onsite so settling your tab is never an issue. Whalen Cafe is one of those classic local gems that remind you why neighborhood spots matter.
