The food here is so good and Jordan is the best! Will always come back to eat here and would recommend if you enjoy Italian cuisine.

Came here with a large group of people for a party and while a lot of the food was good, the kitchen managed to improperly cook four steaks that weren't inexpensive. They took so long to correct one of the steaks that almost everyone else was done eating by the time it came out and it was still undercooked. A Hidden Gem - Must Visit! Piccolinos is a little hidden gem! The food was absolutely excellent, and the staff couldn't have been more amazing -- friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The highlight of the night was the entertainment by M & M Entertainment -- they brought such a fun energy and really made the evening memorable. Definitely look them up and follow them; they're a fantastic act to catch live! The drinks were superb, and the entire experience felt relaxed and unhurried. The food was fine and the service was very good. However, when I went to celebrate an event with my in-laws, there was a dude there (maybe even more than one; couldn't tell) singing god-awful karaoke that made it impossible to hear anything happening around me. If I wanted to go to a concert, I would've bought a ticket to one. I feel bad because the servers did the best they could given the circumstances. But this place? Never again. And honestly, it's Staten Island; throw a rock in any direction and you'll hit an Italian restaurant. No big loss. read more

Went with a friend weds night for dinner. I live about a mile away and first time I've ever been inside. They have 2 different prefix menus everyday in addition to their regular menu. Started with the ceasar salad and it was very good. The dressing was perfect and it had the right amount in it. I opted for my go to which is chicken parm and linguine. The chicken was cooked just right and im was surprised you could taste the fresh ingredients in the dish. The pasta was also cooked exactly like you would want. Ended the meal with the Italian cheesecake. It was fresh and so good. The downside I will say and reason for 4 stars is we were almost done with our dessert before our tea came and my buddy asked for a house glass of wine and sorry it shouldn't be $13. We came here with our relatives for dinner after our niece had a Christening. We had a party of 10 and was seated fast. We started with calamari which was great. Nice and soft , not greasy and came with sauce on the side . Then we had the pasta . Two versions garlic and oil and vodka sauce . Me and the wife swapped and both were very good. Main course I picked the filet of sole francais which I always enjoy. The service was great as it wasn't very crowded . Parking is free but spots are limited . Always love the food here -- especially the custardy "polenta" squares. But I went on a Friday a couple of weeks ago and the singing duo was so loud we couldn't hear our waitor, much less each other. There were only a couple of other tables, so we asked the waitor to have the singer turn down the volume. Not only did she not do it, it seemed even louder after that. Delicious Italian food and super cozy vibes... Piccolino - I'm a fan! Just be sure to make a reservation. I visited on a Saturday night and every seat in the house was taken. This was probably also because there was live music. Frank Sinatra covers while eating an Italian meal is a must. The menu is very very large, portion sizes not so much. Five of us shared two apps and we easily could have added another. Calamari is a must but I didn't love the gorgonzola stuffed portobellos. Next time I'd avoid. In between the apps and entrees we were treated to a palette cleanser (oooh la la, I know). This was basically like having a little dessert in the middle of the meal. I'm all about some pre-dinner strawberry ices. For my main I ordered the orecchiette with sausage and broccoli rabe. This portion was larger and bursting with flavors of garlic and white wine. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente which really made the dish. My only complaint was I wish the sausage was crumbled instead of chopped. I've never had it like that in this dish, and I'm not a huge fan. Patrizias is up the block is a better Italian restaurant in my opinion. But if you are looking for a more cozy and intimate setting (and still very high quality food) then Piccolino is definitely a better bet. read more

This was our 3rd visit to this restaurant and I don't think there will be a fourth visit. Service was not great. We ordered some apps and ordered our entrees at the same time. We also ordered a couple drinks. Everything took a long time to come. We waited a good 1/2 hour for the apps to arrive. At one point the waiter came over asked "how is everything?" And we had to laugh and say we hadn't gotten anything yet. He looked embarrassed and smiled and just said "oh....ok". Apps were good. Entrees were all pretty good too. Other than waiting a long time, everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. We then ordered a few desserts and coffees. They brought some of the desserts out the coffees but apparently forgot to bring out 2 desserts. Nobody came to check on us until after the desserts were finished. They apologized and offered to get them but we declined and asked for the check. There was No offer to do anything for the slow service or forgotten orders. Place used to be good. The fixed Easter menu was terrible. Also got hosed on the price. My fault for not checking the bill. Three price fixed dinners at $59 each. Two glasses of wine and 1 Coke. The Pork loin dinner was horrible and the table next to us returned theirs. they said they didn't charge us for the two glasses of wine but the total bill with tip was $242 Again i got hosed by them. Will never go there again. Don't make the mistake i did please check your bill before you leave. Tasty dinner for a reasonable price! I really enjoyed the 4-course meal for $24.95. The choices were really good and the food was delicious. I had a pan seared flounder that was very moist and well seasoned. The spaghetti with garlic and oil was very good as was the Tiramisu for dessert. Valentine's Day dinner, prefix menu which had decent selections. Pre dinner bread basket consisted of 2 slices. Food was fairly good but nothing to write home about. Intermezzo for the other patrons but not for us, go figure. The issue I had was the 20% gratuity tacked on for a party of two. I'm inclined to calculate my own tip amount based on the service, but the shady part was adding the tip and NOT stating it on the actual receipt which left the tip part vacant. Anybody not check itemizing their bill is likely to add a tip on top of their mandatory 20% gratuity. I'm sure they get over on anybody with a few drinks in them not paying attention to the particulars of their tab. $230 with the tip. Be guided accordingly. I won't be back. read more

Piccolino is one of those places I pass all the time and always regret not frequenting more often. The team is always helpful and efficient. The food is always very good, no matter what you choose. And the atmosphere, while basic, is always welcoming. I've yet to try or have anyone I know try I dish with which they were not very happy. Pastas are fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The selection of appetizers and sides are complimentary to the main courses. Do yourself a favor and make a trip to Piccolino. Been going to this restaurant for quite a while now and have dropped a ridiculous amount of money there. From a graduation party to many dinners. And the food has always been great. However, my wife and I took some friends there last night for dinner. We ate, we drank and even had desert. We paid the bill and about 15-20 minutes later while trying to finish our drinks and coffee when the manager approached the table and said he'd like to move us to the bar and maybe buy us a drink because it was getting crowded and he needed the table. I'm 52 years old and I've NEVER been asked to vacate my table for another dinner party anywhere regardless of how crowded a restaurant got. Especially after the amount of money my wife and I have spent in there. The food is good but it was an uncomfortable feeling being asked to leave 20 minutes after we paid the bill. We didn't finish our drinks and didn't go to the bar. All of us were really surprised and uncomfortable so we just left. Sadly I don't think we'll be back. read more

One of the best places in Staten Island. The food is amazing. Most of the time I order specials. They are always unique and delicious. My favorites are probably Zuppa di pesce (mixed seafood over pasta), lamb chunks and filet mignon. Piccolinos always have fresh meat. They also have full bar with an excellent bartender. Wide selection of wines by a glass and by a bottle. Highly recommend. And last but not least they have LIVE MUSIC on Fridays and Saturdays. read more

Fabulous. Worth traveling to from outside the area. Plenty of parking, if their lot is full, there is a large municipal lot across the street. Prices are very reasonable, food and service excellent. Great background music playing low. We didn't have any drinks, so I can't say if they are generous or not. Veal parmigiana, sautaed spinach, orichette and sausage all fabulous. The only negative thing about this restaurant is that they don't have booths. We will be regulars regardless. We can't wait to go back, next time by Uber, so we can have a a drink or two.
