Great food. Quick service. Very accommodating with a last minute change of heart with my order! The server was super sweet! The music was great! The food was super yummy and tasty! Highly recommend for brunch! I'm sure they have great lunch and dinner options but that gives me a reason to come back!

Absolutely divine. Highly recommend Jesus and Juan as your servers. Thoughtful, helped with directions, and made sure that we were taken care of the entire time we were stepped foot in the restaurant. Some of the best food I've ever had. Try the Lychee martini, margarita pizza, or the caprese panini!

We live nearby and have been faithfully ordering from Piccolo. I have dietary restrictions and asked for a chicken pesto tórtolo i meal to have the chicken on the side so my husband can have the chicken apart. We are always given a hard time for this request, which I find strange, as it only requires it to be put in another container. Last night we ordered again and were told we can no longer order this way. We also noticed that their portions have dropped significantly, and pasta dishes are appetizer sized at best. My husband and I finished our meals and were still hungry. I know business are hurting right now and I can maybe understand why portions are getting smaller, as businesses try to survive, however, their food quality and service has much to be desired. Im the Winthrop area has other Italian options, like Alia, that provide far better service and value.

Service was a little slow for a Saturday afternoon. I came here with a friend for lunch and to get some work done. We left after a bit since it got pretty cold inside. Unfortunately some items were no available or prepped on time. Would probably get takeout if I were in the area again.

Went to pick up a delivery the girl told me it wouldn't be ready for six minutes even though it should've been ready when I arrived I went back exactly in six minutes the girl looked at me then she looked at the guy cooking he pulls out a roll to start making the Chicken Parm sandwich HORIFFIC SERVICE THEN he (The cook) look like he was aggravated because I said oh is there a problem why isn't it ready you told me to come back in six minutes I did and you're just starting the water to cook looked really aggravated I WILL NOT RETURN

I had dined regularly at the Antique Table, probably for a good seven years, when the two Lisa's waitressed there. I introduced and treated many of my business clients and friends to gift certificates that would average $1200 to $1400 each year. The last time that I dined there was on my birthday when my daughter got food poisoning. While I told Tatiana about this incident, I never received a "promised" phone call from the owner..... Well, last night I arrived home late from work and I chose to order an eggplant parmesan sub from Piccolo Piatti. After I took home the $17 sandwich and took two bites, I opened both halves of the sub roll to find two razor thin slices of eggplant. The sandwich was all bread hidden by tomato sauce and served with a large portion of fries. It was the worst eggplant sandwich that I have had in my entire life. If I wasn't so tired and hungry, I would have walked down to the Piccolo and handed the terrible sandwich back to Staff who had prepared it. I will not be going to this component of the Antique Table in the future either.

Worth the visit for some unbelievable pasta for takeout! I can't wait until Antique Table restaurant opens back up to experience more of the mouthwatering pasta on their menu. I had heard great things about the food, and was particularly excited smelling all the delicious flavors when I walked inside the storefront to pick up my order. It was so hard to pick what to order because I would try everything on the menu, but I made an excellent choice to go with the Fettucini Carbonara. The pasta is all very reasonably priced, especially compared to dishes in the North End. It is a bit on the smaller side so I was still a little hungry after my meal, but the Alfredo sauce with prosciutto was absolutely divine and well worth the price.

Good local breakfast spot. Support your local places before they dissapear! Got the smoked Salmon Benedict. Everything was well done. Friendly staff. They forgot our bill for a while & we needed to remind them. But the owner stepped out with a valid excuse!

Subs are great but The salad game is weak! Asked to remove goat cheese and add chicken to a salad order and was charged $5 extra. The order came out $3+ more than the other salad on the menu with chicken. They said that the issue was with the way their system is set up and only a manager would be able to fix the issue, but they were not available. Have not tried the pasta or entree dishes.

For a little restaurant on a quiet street corner in Winthrop, you'd never expect the vibrant atmosphere just beyond the front door. Italian restaurants are a dime a dozen in the Greater Boston Area, but owner Lisa, her family, and her staff have succeeded in making Vuolo's a destination restaurant. You better bring an appetite because their menu demands nothing less. I could fill up on just the crusty bread and roasted garlic oil alone. My top two appetizers are probably the tender meatballs and perfectly crispy mozzarella fritti. If you need some greens, the Caesar salad is perfect for sharing. As for entrees, it's usually a toss-up between the chicken parm and gnocchetti, unless it's October, when I only have eyes for the divine pumpkin ravioli. (That is a reminder to always review their monthly and Monday/Tuesday specials.) While all of their desserts are amazing, the crème brûlée and tiramisu are standouts. For those that imbibe, Vuolo's array of cocktails will truly blow your hair back. Beverage Director Joe is a wizard that knows how to satisfy any palate. Not only do they nail all the classics, but their inventive cocktail creations are not to be missed. Their creamy martinis (espresso, pistachio, and pumpkin in the fall) are the best I've had anywhere. I also really love Ol' Buddy Ol' Pal, their version of an old fashioned. In both taste and presentation, Vuolo's cocktails give any popular cocktail bar in the city a run for its money. The caliber of dining and food options in Winthrop has improved in recent years, and I would say that Vuolo's was the one to kickstart that movement. Needless to say, I feel just a tad spoiled having them so close to home. Nothing beats a satisfying meal in a cozy environment with some of the friendliest customer service around. Whether I'm planning a birthday outing or just want a casual weekday dinner, Vuolo's is always a top contender.

My local friends suggested we dine here as our first choice was closed on Sundays. I did previously dine here when it was Cafe Rosetti's, and was told that it's the same chefs and a similar menu. This is a local joint that is located right on Winthrop Beach. Parking is a challenge, and this is a cozy restaurant, so reservations are best. The food is fabulous, portions are large, and you will most likely be taking leftovers home. They are also BYOB, and they will keep your cocktails chilled and uncork your wine for you. I could have ordered many of their apps, but we decided on the eggplant rolletinni and eggplant topped with ricotta and mozzarella. Oh my, both were cooked perfectly tender and topped with their delicious sauce. I opted for the homemade fusilli pasta option with my veal entree. The pasta was cooked al dente, perfect. I could go into much more detail regarding how tender my veal was or how Plus 1's bolognese was one of the best I ever experienced, but to summarize everything on the menu is 5-star old-school Italian.

We drove quite a way to try out Cafe Valenciano in Winthrop…read more First of all its not easy to get to Winthrop no matter where you come from unless you live there. The parking is extremely hard as they do not have a parking lot and there is only parking on one side of the street. There are not many businesses near them so I would guess the residents are taking up most of the parking....Finally found a space after driving back and forth several times, and took the short walk to the restaurant. This is a very small place. We walked in and there were many seats open but a lot of them on top of other patrons. It was about 8:45 pm and the restaurant closes at 9:00 pm. A lady who appeared to hate her job comes up to us with no smile, no welcome...just said "reservations?" I kind of chuckled because you might think we were in some high-end fancy restaurant. There were many empty seats and interior was low budget. She promptly told us to sit "there" and pointed her finger to a 2 seat table that was literally on top of the door. Anyone entering would be brushing up against the table. We said no, that we did not want to site there. There was a table in front of the windows, so we asked if we could be seated there. She said no, people are coming in for that table. So, we said OK, and proceeded to leave. As we were leaving, she muttered "Ok you can sit there". Unfortunately, we were totally turned off from the experience so far and left. The space in the restaurant is a shoe box. There were a few people in there but certainly nothing that warrants a "reservation". The hostess (and I use that word loosely), was the most unfriendly, unaccommodating, miserable person I have encountered in a long while. If you hate your job, GO DO SOMETHING ELSE! This entire time, the two owners were standing there watching potential customers walk out the door. And a point worth mentioning. In a restaurant so small, you should be smelling the aromas of the food cooking. I smelled nothing.

Which means she was happy and it showed in the way she communicated wait time and seating. I went on Friday evening and there were plenty of customers waiting to enjoy delicious cooked to order food. It also happened to be a convenient coincidence that I moved within walking distance nearly two decades later and there's no excuse at this point to not make a visit. Let's just say expectations were high. We (party of two) put our names down at 6PM on a Friday night, and were told that there were two parties ahead of us and that they don't have a policy of handing out potential wait times. We took a lap around the block and ended up waiting until ~7:30PM to get seated at a nice table along the window. There were only a few tables, and it looked as though there were some larger parties in the room (a party of ~8 and another party of 15), and so that maybe contributed to the longer wait time. We ordered a 1/2 order of the scallops limoncello, followed by the chicken parm and the lobster ravioli. Everything tasted great, although I will say that it was maybe a touch on the saltier side. It wasn't off-putting and made it inedible, but might have been just a bit salty nonetheless. It was a bit cramped, but the energy was good and the wait staff were super friendly. When I was about to ask for the check, the waitress somehow convinced me to get the amaretto cake, which was honestly a great choice to end the meal with. Overall, the food was really great, and a bottle of Chianti for $30 for a sit-down meal in a restaurant is honestly a steal in this economy. Not sure if I would come back to dine-in given the long wait, but I would consider take out.
