If you're looking for them to pick up your broken down car, don't bother. I set up an appointment for mine to get towed & the driver was 2 hours late from when he said he would be there, I tried calling repeatedly & got a message the number was no longer in service, called back 10 minutes later & he "joked" with me that he wouldn't come pick up my car. He then said he would be there in 10 minutes, but it took him another 30. This was in the middle of Tacoma. Completely unprofessional in my opinion. One of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. Right off the bat I sat on hold for 20 minutes and then the woman acted like she couldn't hear me when I could hear her perfectly fine. Then I called back and sat on hold for another 20 minutes. Finally scheduled my appointment for pick up for the next week and they told me they would call ahead of time to give me plenty of time to meet the driver there. When the driver called he said he would be there in 15 minutes and if I wasn't there he was leaving. Then I called The office and they told me it's not their policy to wait any longer. This place has become nicer to go too as of late. Good selection if you are looking for Honda's but still not enough to choose from especially late model. Would say poor selection of SUV's. They never have any Escalades. Prices are still decent though. Cost is $2.00 bucks to get in the yard. read more

First these guys charge an admission that is not listed on their website. The admission is also per person. They have an extremely unprofessional attitude and are very rude. They are also not 2A friendly. If you dare show up armed they will harass you and demand to search you and your belongings. Don't bother trying to speak with a manager. After buying a few things here I honestly can't understand why anyone would waste their time here. Unless you are looking for some small very specialty part don't bother. Their prices are ridiculous. Everything is only $5-$10 cheaper than an auto parts store. On top of that you have to remove it yourself and deal with all the grease and grime all over the part. The staff is really rude and trashy. The port o potty is completely full to the brim. There is no soap or paper towels to wash your hands off after you fought with filthy parts. If your local parts store can't get the item you need this place might be worth a look. Don't expect any sort of good deal however. If your parts store can get the things you need do yourself a favor and buy new. read more

I like this yard. As an owner of older vehicles (prefer to invest or save my money instead of spending it on car payments, but I digress :-)), this yard is a good alternative for finding parts to keep older vehicles on the road. The facility is usually relatively clean and organized, and the staff is more professional than most yards. Also, prices are great. I've saved quite a bit of money over the years by purchasing parts at this yard vs. other sources. The company-wide Pick-n-Pull online database is very helpful so customers don't waste time visiting a location, only to find that a particular vehicle is not on site. read more

Prices are way too expensive for used old parts. Employees are quick to yell at their customers. Lines are way too long not enough cashiers. Very unprofessional the only reason we come back is its the closest wrecking yard in the area towards home. read more

.our van blew up the other day .my wife called pick and pull we see there commercials all over about how EASY and FAIR it just call and get a CASH offer and an appointment to have your car picked up and get a check on the spot . spent lunch answering questions give the vin and address we got an offer of $211 all good we agree and she tells us the truck will be there the next day between12 and 4pm they will call they are on the way .we went to our van11:30am well no phone call by 3:00 pm we try calling .and got a recording .they are a mile from where our van was. My wife drives to pick and pull and they tell her they don't know what to do because they hire an answering service and to call them tomorrow and they can deal with it .so she leaves and ten min. Later pick and pull blew up huge explosion.huge. we call in the morning.they tell us we were scheduled for the day before at 1:30pm and for acheck for $211 we tell them to come and get it and bring the check .they tell us they will call us back w/time of pick up the day goes by and they call at4:45p and tell us they not picking up cars cause of the explosion.that's now 2days wasted.and its to late to call another salvage.so the NEXT day WE CAll.RUSTYS salvage they give us a time and price to pick it up my wife goes to meet him and our van was gone.i get a call from the driver he says there's no van there. .well by midnite after the both of us spend all night calling tow co.to see if it was impounded we report it stolen.so sat.morn.my 76 year old mother in law ( one more grown ass person with better things to do.) Banging on the door to tell us the cops found our van six blocks from where it was and had GENES towing impound it.who steals a blown up caravan with two flat tires? The guy who's house it broke down in front of the guy who I asked if it was OK . so I call genes and they tellme the bill was $176 to get my van out and we had to pay $90 cause it was a weekend.or wait till Mon. Morning we have a $300 tow bill for a van that doesn't run and will have to be towed from impound .I am not gonna get the $211 binding offer .a business deal.they told me if I didn't accept in 48hrs. We lose that offer .now I am gonna HAVE TO PAY these rackateers or MY LICENSE WILL BE SUSPENDED and how much is that going to cost me?so Monday my wife and her parents go to GENES TOWING and are told the bill to get it realised was $196 and to give them the title so they could get $196 +$211so they were charging me $407 altogether to have pick and pull who's ads I hear every day about a quick and painless way to get rid of your car and put some spending money in my pocket.ya they were putting something painful in my back pocket and trying to charge me $407 for the raping.my wife and her parents spend the day in there office retracing every call and what do ya know each person involved admitted they told us to do exactly what we did they told us what time the truck would be there.how much the check was they were bringing us. They told us it was there fault not ours and all of a sudden the secretary for GENES TOWING after all that says oh look there it is we did have adriver scheduled for 1:00 pm Thursday.and he never showed up.so we were forced to fight tooth and nail with GENES TOWiNG and pick and pull for a week of our time .so to get away from these snakes and resolve this matter it ended up costing me $245 to genes and they are going to take my van to tumwater and sell it to pick and pull who we were selling it to from the beginning but they are only going to give us $165 instead of the $211 they offered so they are trying to make it sound that charging me $245 and than giving me the salvage check for $165 Its only costing me $80 bullsh+t I made a deal with your organized crime ring to sell you my car fo$211 and I never agreed to letting g you charge me $245 for a tow because you can't dispatch your driver to a two mile round trip so you fast talking rip off mother f that's $211+$245=$466 that's what you cost me plus you had my mother in law drive to tumwater today I was just told I will tell you what you put $466 dollars on the hood of my car $ and I will put the $466 you thief's just took from me on the hood of my van pick your employee because I know you are too much of weasel to stand up for your business ethics we can lock the gate and I promise the maddest dog will walk out of that gate with his money.I promise you this will be our little secret I don't need any fame or glory from this you can tell your little friends you got the bruises falling off your tow truck a couple dozen times.I won't say any thing.you got my number give me a call .my next stop is the b b b.
