Dr. Aldridge performed the surgery without giving her the option to seek care with a specialist. It went completely sideways and the staff did nothing to help until it was too late. My daughter had a major infection and had to have additional procedures under general anesthesia with a specialist. The staff lacked experience and empathy. Seek a specialist whenever doing major dental surgery. Needless to say we are looking for a new dentist.

They told my 18-year-old that they had informed us about all procedures and payment options, but they never called us. Now, the front desk is telling me that my daughter is 18 years old and can sign any papers, even though they misled her by not informing us and having her sign the papers. My husband was out of work for nine months, and we were on Molina insurance. We had just set up our insurance and received calls to make appointments. For my dental treatment, they called me three times to schedule appointments. When I returned to the country and called to confirm, they told me we weren't covered with them, and I could not be seen. They could have done the same for my daughters. It was only a three-week difference between my girls' appointments and mine. How is it that they could see my daughters, but I couldn't be treated? They made a mistake. They didn't inform us that our insurance was out of network for Dental Designs. Now they want to send the bill to collections, even though we are not at fault. The front desk failed to make everything clear. PLEASE BEWARE OF THE SCAM DENTAL DESIGN IS PULLING. There must be many older people who don't even know they are being wrongly charged or given incorrect information. Having a 16-year-old sign payment papers is wrong. I have an impacted wisdom tooth and she proceeded to tell me that no oral surgeon is going to be willing to remove it because of its positioning and potentially damaging my sinuses, etc., and that the pain I'm experiencing isn't from the impacted wisdom tooth that it is from the small cavity in the molar under the tooth. She told me impacted wisdom teeth do not cause pain. Seriously! They absolutely can and do cause pain. This is making me reconsider going back.

I was verbally quoted $187 to have a veneer re-cemented and agreed to treatment based on that price. At no point during my appointment was I informed of an ADDITIONAL $117 evaluation fee. (I even texted my Husband during the appointment telling him that the price was $187. I'll attach the screenshot of our conversation for reference.) To my surprise, that charge only appeared later when I received a bill for $304. When I contacted the office immediately, Stacey was unprofessional, extremely rude, and so dismissive. The lack of accountability and transparency is SHOCKING. She repeatedly deflected the issue by emphasizing my 'limited' insurance coverage in such a condescending & demeaning tone which was irrelevant because insurance was never the issue. The only issue was the verbal quote I was given vs what I was billed. Most concerning, after the dispute was reported - the office responded to the Washington State Attorney General, Stacey lied and presented her version of events that just wasn't true to what actually happened, while also claiming the additional fee had been quoted to ME over the phone before the appointment... First of all, that call was not even with ME. it was with my husband. and no such price was ever given. (I was in the background, listening to their conversation on speaker while tending to my toddler.) Anyway long story short... Despite being CLEAR that I was willing to pay the $187 I was quoted, the office refused to resolve the issue and escalated the balance to collections while it was still in active dispute. This entire situation could have been avoided with honest, upfront pricing and clear communication. It's especially disappointing because Dr. Bowyer - the actual dentist - was great! He was kind & very thorough during my appt! We totally would've made him our family dentist. (I even texted my husband *see screenshot attached* that I liked the office and we could stick to it since we're new to the area.) Warning*** Went in for a cleaning. They then ended up making…read moreme do a deep cleaning saying if I didn't do this then they'd refuse to do any form of cleaning. Signed up for this 3 day process. The second day I go in and the dental hygienist looks at my teeth completely complexed why we are doing a deep cleaning saying you have very minimal tartar. She does the cleaning and my once bill for $106 turns in to $200+. And then my second bill for $34.10 turns into $140-160. Because someone forgot to quote something. But no one informed me of any of it. Had me sign a paper like if I'm checking in. Turns out they upd the bill. The worst fn part of this is they chipped my fn tooth in the front while doing this unnecessary deep cleaning!!! Then go "we will create you a plan to fix it it'll be easy" I turn to the dentist and say "you all chipped my tooth during the cleaning! Why would I pay for that??" Then it turns from a quick fix to "oh well it would be hard to fix and it probably wouldn't stay if you try to bite into something". And that they can't do anything without management approvals. I felt sorry for the front staff personal that had to deal with this while the ones responsible head behind a door leaving her to handle this. I'm sorry for that but this is absolutely ridiculous .
