Yummy casual lunch by the beach! The freshest fish and grabbed a fish dip to go at the market and couldn't wait for home to try it. Staff were very knowledgeable about catch of the day and able to help me order. Planning to come again whenever I'm beachside!

I wondered if my wife would think I have lost my mind when I suggested that we go back to Pickett's Seafood, but when I told her about the rock shrimp and the red grouper, she smiled and said "I love rock shrimp and I've never had red grouper". So off we went, on Saturday night. Once again, absolutely amazing, and for those who are shocked by the prices, here is what we got and I will tell you, this is GOOD value. We had 1 lb of red grouper, 1/2 pound of rock shrimp. The shrimp was steamed in butter and old bay, and served with butter and cocktail sauce and was absolutely amazing. The meat came right out of the shell and was perfect. The red grouper was grilled to perfection and served with lemon, and was so tasty. Ok, 1 lb of red grouper, 1/2 lb of rock shrimp, their tasty fries and fresh coleslaw with a landshark and a coke plus tax and tip, $76. For the freshest seafood prepared and served perfectly? I would say we might need a reserved table but we have gone twice this week and walked in got served and had a nice table. Picketts Seafood is in our top 5!

    medium stone crab

We make it a priority to try as many different spots as possible when we travel. However. We found ourselves enjoying Picketts 3x during our 6 day stay in the area...and would have gone even more if the stone crab availability was sustained. Initially drawn in by the stone crab, we tried a variety of other local fish dishes and loved them all. Especially got a kick out of the grouper collar--a tremendous value at $11. Also really enjoyed that they offered ice cream treats from a local creamery. Also also loved that you can pick anything from the market case and have it prepared to order. The only bummer is that the extra large and jumbo stone crab were priced 60%+ more than the large and medium...and several of the days only the jumbo were available. I get the increased pricing due to scarcity, but I just couldn't justify the extra expense (they taste the same to me and don't offer much more meat).

Was our first time and service at the bar was great! Portions were so good and the pricing was surprisingly pleasant! Will definitely be back and recommend

Came in for lunch and had their blackened flounder sandwich. Fish tasted fresh, very seasoned with a healthy portion for a sandwich. Homemade tartar sauce was great. Fries were good too. Will definitely be back!

Great selection of fresh seafood Probably the cleanest fish case I've seen. The fresh catches change every day awesome variety.

This store is filled with some specialty items and some of what I call one off oddities. This is not your typical grocery store by any means but it's always an interesting walk down the aisles, lots of produce, wines, all displayed in a temperature controlled environment which is the upgrade we've been waiting years for. The staff here were very friendly and the store is clean and organized and the prices are reasonable from what I saw during my first visit here. Now that there trading indoors out of the hot Florida sun and steaming humidity I definitely will return...

I haven't been much since the new location so I thought I would stop in yesterday to explore. What I found made my homestead heart pretty happy. Produce looked great and the prices were pretty fair. I grabbed a bunch of apples for canning and a selection of fruits/veggies. I wandered over to the pickle area and also tried some fresh pickles, specifically the Ranch and Salt & Vinegar, yum! We also grabbed a rotisserie chicken and some potato salad for a quick dinner night. I found that the pricing of prepackaged foods was a bit on the upper pricey side so I avoided those. I would happily shop again in the produce and deli areas again though.

The restaurant has local charm. Not very very expensive but it is nicely decorated and very friendly. We got crispy calamari, mahi fish sandwiches, shrimp po boy sandwiches and coke and unsweetened tea. The food came up fairly quickly. The calamari is very good, esp with the sauces and lemon juices! My fish sandwiches were perfect and very yummy with the tartar sauce. It also came with fries, hush puppies, slaw. Shrimp po boy sandwiches is also amazing. Overall this was a very nice dinner with quality food and services!

My husband and I started with the buffalo shrimp, which is a go-to order for us at seafood spots. The buffalo flavor was good, but the sauce was very oily, and several shrimp still had bits of shell attached beyond the tails, so I ended up picking shell out of my mouth while eating. For my entrée, I ordered the snow crab and shrimp platter and asked for it to be cooked without butter but keep the old bay. The plate arrived with no discernible seasoning at all, and the seafood, potatoes, and corn tasted like they'd been boiled in plain water. When I asked about it, the server explained that they don't steam crab or shrimp in Old Bay, despite agreeing to that when I ordered, and that the platters rely on butter for flavor, which was disappointing for a $40-$50 dish. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because my mother did enjoy her lobster platter. That said, her lobster was absolutely swimming in butter and Old Bay--not lightly drizzled as the menu implies--and it felt like butter was the main source of flavor rather than an enhancement. The server even mentioned how much butter the restaurant goes through in a day, which reinforced that this is their primary approach to seasoning. I enjoy seasoning and lots of flavor, and I prefer seafood that's cooked so the spices and the delicious taste of the shellfish stand out, not preparations that rely on heavy butter, so this restaurant ultimately wasn't a good fit for my preferences.
