My FAVORITE place to eat in Angels Camp! Every time I take any of my friends or family members out here they LOVE it! I get the same grilled chicken sandwich everytime with their pesto pasta salad. It's so good hot fresh and delicious! They also have a gallery of sweet treats to try I noticed I would LOVE to try their cheesecake next time I come back! The service is always nice the girls here are so caring and always on top of everything it's really appreciated! Because it does get BUSY so for them to still be so nice and always get back around to you is excellent customer service!! They also have a bathroom around the side of the building and as it does have stairs, there is a ramp so A+ to them for making it ADA accessible! Love that As busy as this place gets the seating is a bit limited. Perhaps because the food is so good it draws in more customers there for less tables are taken. There isn't really seating that would would want to sit at inside because you're eating next to a line, and they do have a bit of a fly problem outside but nothing some fly tape somewhere couldn't fix! Then the patio would be perfect!!! Either way we will always come back!! Their sandwiches are BANGIN!!!

We stopped here for lunch today....along with the rest of the town. The wait wasn't bad. I ordered the Turkey sandwich it was good and fresh but a little bit dry. Needed more mayo. We would go there again.

Old Town Murphys is so cute! We stopped on our way to Arnold on a Wednesday and parking was plentiful. It was busy tho. The deli case was full of amazing desserts. I saw lemon bars...yum! The top row are the sides you can choose from. They all looked good or you can pick chips. We had the Wedge Salad with Avocado. I had to ask for a knife but it was delicious. I could only eat 1/2. My husband smokes his own tri-tip so is lnowledgzble in the process. He really enjoyed the Swagger Wy Sandwich. The food came in about 10 minutes. They have a water station out on the patio. We have dogs and they were fine to have them in the lower picnic tables. We would definitely come back!

Super delicious sandwiches! Fresh ingredients and generously layered veggies. It was out of the world! Really cute and cozy restaurant with comfortable outdoor seatings. Salad and side dishes are also tasty along with deliciously looking desserts. Really nice and friendly services, freshly made to order but we got our sandwiches really quick. I'd recommend stopping here for a delicious and relaxing lunch for sure!

This place takes advantage of customers. My husband and I would visit this place often, last few times the food has been BAD. I ended up taking a picture of my turkey sandwich, bread was so old and dry it was falling apart before I could even take two bites. I ended up using a fork and eating the inside of the sandwich with my side and throwing out the bread. This will be my last visit here, on top of what the charge for their low quality food they charge a "restaurant fee" and expect a tip.

Swagger Wy and Snarky Bird

Perfect spot to grab lunch on our way out of Big Trees. My hubby and I split a Swagger Wy (one of their Tri-tip sandwiches with Gorgonzola cheese) and a Snarky Bird (chicken breast with smoked gouda). Perfection with incredible fresh toasted sourdough rolls. It was around 1:30 on a Saturday and busy but not so busy we couldn't find a table on the beautiful wrap around porch. Employees were courteous and our sandwiches got to us quickly! Highly recommend if you are looking for something local in the sierras.

I order a spicy bird

No service. Sandwiches were fine, but I wouldn't stop in for that again. Cute porch area.

Ask the Community - Pickled Porch Cafe

Can you make a gluten free sandwich that can accommodate someone with a gluten allergy? (Gluten free bread and meat, Change gloves, separate prep area, uncontaminated condiments)?

I would not ask them to do any special requests, the owner does not accommodate any. All you have to do is ask for something to be omitted from a sandwich an it will prompt a hostile response.

What's kinda crazy is that the pricing here feels on-par if not just as expensive as whole foods but since there aren't many options in the area for groceries, it does what it needs to do. Some of our must-haves whenever we shop here are the rock-it apples and their jalapeno cheddar bagels and jalapeno cheddar sandwich rolls. Their hot food is actually pretty solid. You can get a family fried chicken meal for $25 or if you are wing person like myself, the salt and vinegar wings are a solid snack to have at the house. The alcohol is a little bit on the expensive side, but at least the selection is pretty solid. We've come here a lot over the years and it's never super busy. Definitely need to be part of their rewards program because that's where the deals are. Plenty of parking as well, makes this a super convenient supermarket to shop at.

This store is disgusting. Save- Mart should be ashamed. Where to start…read more.. Men's room is falling apart. Door on stall falling off. Soap dispenser never has soap which tells me the employees are handling food without washing their hands. I've seen both men and women employees enter and exit the restrooms in their aprons....blah... The floor is coming up near the meat area. Some of the shelves are stained with liquid. Every time I'm there they have some sort of "line crisis" and backed up checkout lines. I could go on but don't have all day.... This is by far the most rundown, pathetic Save-Mart I've ever been in... I guess corporate figures we're not entitled to a nice store here.... We'd rather drive to Stockton Safeway than shop here... Zero stars if I could God Bless

Some of the…read moreitems were a bit expensive, however we were glad to find all of the groceries we needed for our meals. It was conveniently located near gas stations and restaurants and our vacation rental. The people working there were very friendly too.

I walked into Big Trees Market at 6:50 PM last night (3/31) to grab a few quick items. There were…read morestill multiple customers shopping--completely normal. At 7:01, an announcement came on saying the store had been closed for one minute and to head to the register. Totally fair. I needed one more thing from produce so I hurried- another announcement at 7:02 said to "stop shopping- we are closed" I grabbed my last item and went up front. By 7:03, I was already being checked out. And yet the reaction from staff was... unbelievable. There were several employees standing at the front just staring at me--clearly irritated, like I'd personally ruined their evening. It was three minutes past closing. Not 30. Not 15. Three. Then it somehow got worse. They were out of bags (understandable), so I asked if I could use the hand basket to carry my items to my car, which was literally parked right in front of the doors to the store. I was told no, "these baskets cant leave the store"--and that I needed to go outside and get a cart instead. So I had to run out, grab a cart, and come back in... while the entire staff stood there watching me. There must have been 6 or 7 employees glaring at me with dirty looks like I had insulted them personally. The older checker was grumpy and rude, but honestly the whole team contributed to making the experience feel hostile and unwelcoming. I completely understand wanting to close on time. But if ringing someone up at 7:03 feels like a crisis to your staff, that's a management issue--not a customer problem. Also- why not sell reusable bags if you run out of bags so often? I would have bought one to make it faster for me to exit the store. Seems like a simple solution to avoid the extreme stress your staff is experiencing
