    BLTA

Driving through the town and decided to stop and get some late lunch on a Wednesday. I ordered the BLTA and my husband got the sausage with onions and peppers. While waiting I used the non-gender restroom, which was very clean. My husband sandwich was amazing. My BLTA didn't seem to have very much tomato but was generous in the bacon, all personal preference. I give them the four stars because although we were there sat and eating 30 minutes before they close, they were still pushy about closing, and we're even talking about customers coming in at the last minute after they obtained their order and walked out. They were putting the chairs up at the tables next to the people that were sitting there eating. They had just sat down. I understand, trying to prep for closure, but put all of this together with the conversation and it was a bit much.

We really enjoyed everything we got here. The food came out quickly and it's located conveniently off of the freeway.

At best this place was marginal. The bread was dry on both sandwiches. The tuna salad was minimalistic and lacked any flavor. I went with two meats on my sandwich that was mostly one meat and a small slice of another. The interior is simple and lacking. I hate to say it but the service was minimal as well. While I don't require disabled parking for myself, I do have family members and friends that it helps when placed properly. In this case it's far from that. There is one disabled parking spot at the bottom of the parking lot yet there is ample room for parking at the top of the property. When I go to a deli, I expect the best and this wasn't it. Ultimately, do yourself a favor and go to the grocery store by the exact same supply's and have a better experience making your own sandwich.

I went here with my wife a couple weeks ago to try it out since we have seen it numerous times. Let me tell you, it was worth stopping by for lunch! It has everything you need to refuel with snack and drinks and numerous other items. We went here specifically for the sandwiches for lunch. They had a great seating area for eating your food and the walk up menu was great! Lots of sandwiches, burgers, cheesesteak options. Fresh potato and macaroni salad. Everyone that was working there was super friendly and helpful and it was just a wonderful experience overall for a quick lunch. I definitely recommend stopping by and checking out the food here for lunch sometime if you're in the area.

Food is beyond exceptional! Sandwiches are always made well and loaded with loads of toppings. Service is amazing and quick! Love the new location.

I'm already craving another sandwich! My husband had found this spot while antique shopping with his mom when she was visiting California and immediately knew I'd love it. He even sent me photos which made me seriously jealous and I added it to my bookmarks right away. The small shop has tables for dining in and a breakfast and lunch menu along with coffees and other drinks. When I finally was able to visit my husband and I both got sandwiches. I ordered the Italian Sub that comes with salami, prosciutto, ham, pepper jack, oil & balsamic, salt and pepper, pepperoncini, mayo, mustard and onion on a fresh sourdough roll and B got the Turkey Bacon Ranch that has turkey, bacon and cheddar on a soft roll with ranch- he opted out of the tomato and lettuce and added pickle. We both LOVED our sandwiches and really, I should have ordered an extra to take home with me. We also tried a cup of the clam chowder that was really tasty, but the sandwiches are the stars for me. It looked like they had a lot of regulars coming in as well as a lot of to-go orders. The staff was really friendly and since we dined in they brought our food to us on plates. If i'm in the area again I'll make a special point to stop here!

Half tuna melt and a ceasar. Delish!

Food here is okay but not great. Service is poor. Prices are on the high side. Others I've talked to like it more than I did.

When I got to the car there were only 3 tenders. Good thing I asked for a receipt because they asked for it when I came back in. They fixed my order right away. I heard the biscuits were very good so a got a couple more. I was really disappointed in the Honey biscuits. They were flat, hard and crunchy. Stale.. Won't get these again. The Fried chicken tenders were good, nice crust and juicy inside. They're pretty large too an a little on the peppery side. You get a choice if several different dipping sauces. I have a secret spot I like to camp outside of Jackson, off Hwy. 88, and we usually stop at Jon's on our way up there for last minute snacks and bags of ice. They are open 24 hours selling gas, drinks (including alcohol) and even fresh popcorn. This is great for people who never know what time they'll be getting on the road. Their coffee station has an extra-caffeinated brew, as well as a variety of syrups you can pump in with instructions on creating great, popular flavors like vanilla mocha. I imagine extra caffeine is necessary when working a late shift at a 24hr spot. Service is friendly, so if they're tired in there, they don't let on. A fridge-deli contains potato salads, macaroni salads, deviled eggs and other homemade goodies. I prefer making a stop down the ChexMix and Sunfower Seed aisle, but the food doesn't look bad if you want something fresh. Ice is sold in 8lb bags. A few of these will fit in a medium-size cooler. Unless its full of beer cans, in which case you prob only need a couple bags. And your camping cooler should always be full of beer cans.

The staff is great about checking in as they're cleaning the tables nearby. Their Blue Cran Apple salad is the best around - loaded with sooo many toppings. I almost wish the portion stayed the same (huge) but in a bigger bowl so it's easier to toss. I may ask about that next time. Always get the side of bread, too! My mom got the veggie sandwich and pesto Mac as part of their $11 1/2 sandwich and a side deal. They have 5-6 different sides to choose from - fruit, Mac salad, salad salad, and more - and a wide range of tri tip, turkey, chicken, and veggie sandwiches plus other delicious cafe-fare. I've never had a bad choice here. After lunch, my mom insisted that we needed dessert. She had a hard time choosing just one, but went with the turtle cheesecake. If they had bread pudding this visit, that would have been my number one choice! Nothing compares to their bread pudding! But the turtle cheesecake was great, not overly sweet and the caramel was delicious. They also have a unique craft soda and drink selection. I'm a huge fan of craft root beer and love trying different ones! You really can't go wrong here. My only complaint is that while sitting on the porch is lovely, there usually seems to be bees buzzing around the side closest to the corner bar. I haven't sat on the other side of the porch, we usually just power through it, but have seen others move away from those tables as a result.

Because it does get BUSY so for them to still be so nice and always get back around to you is excellent customer service!! They also have a bathroom around the side of the building and as it does have stairs, there is a ramp so A+ to them for making it ADA accessible! Love that As busy as this place gets the seating is a bit limited. Perhaps because the food is so good it draws in more customers there for less tables are taken. There isn't really seating that would would want to sit at inside because you're eating next to a line, and they do have a bit of a fly problem outside but nothing some fly tape somewhere couldn't fix! Then the patio would be perfect!!! Either way we will always come back!! Their sandwiches are BANGIN!!!

On this trip I picked up some frozen ribeyes, sirloins, burgers, breakfast sausage patties, cheddar jalapeno sausages, and some chile verde and ranch house chicken. The chicken items I got come vacuum sealed, which is perfect when I plan to sous vide them. The things I wish I got more of was their honey pepper beef sticks and hot teriyaki beef jerky. It's very affordable and perfect for snacks. Another low key thing that we like are their frozen chicken wellingtons. super easy to bake at home and it's a tasty meal. I arrived in the morning and luckily it wasn't super busy. Grabbed a basket and before I knew it I had enough meats and snacks to feed a large family when in reality, it's just for a couple of us. $153 well spent and meals for days. The prices for the tri-tips have more than doubled since 2020, but honestly, still a great deal considering the size. $35-40 for a good sized marinated tri-tip is still a steal of a price. The mother lode tri tip is a can't miss and a fan favorite at any of our family bbqs. Definitely plan to bring a cooler and some ice packs so you can keep your meats stored properly in route to back home.
