Great hash browns. Dry veggie omelet, good but needed more cheese please. (Put cheese inside)
    Ashley Q.

Went for breakfast. Veggie omelet was fresh veggies and fluffy eggs. I just wish it had cheese melted inside instead of a little amount melted on top. Service was fine. Clean. bathroom was right by the kitchen and very awkward to use:( I would go back and ask for the cheese. it looks really great if you are a meat eater. The homemade gravy w/sausage was on everybody's plate.

Cute and cozy little cafe. Waiter had us laughing during our entire meal. Food was yummy and it hit the spot.

Adorable little quaint restaurant.. It's as if you are sitting in your grandmas kitchen and she will make you a tastey home cook meal. Very limited seating , Sits about 16 people at a time inside Services was quick, food delivered fast For coffee - served in a big coffee mug :)

Great place to eat amazing food. My favorite is the omelette that cooks the best. He makes it exactly how I like it 10 out of 10 would bring my future kids to this restaurant.

For Being Super Busy today, we had good service. As I write this review. They are the only Breakfast place down town. We were told it might take a bit to get our food as we were seated . That was fine for us . Hubby and Son watched Football and drank coffee . We really liked their photos on the walls of Yosemite. Our food was piping hot and tasty ! Son ordered Loaded French Toast. Hubby had Corned Beef Hash. I ordered the Country Fried Steak with Country Gravy . We all really enjoyed our meals . The only thing that I wasn't a huge fan of was the gravy was a bit thick for my taste . But, that's just my opinion . Have patience coming here . Great food just relax and enjoy this little gem in the Gold Country :)

I always make time to go to Angels Creek Restaurant for breakfast whenever I'm in Angels Camp. It's always delicious. I was in Angels Camp recently making my zombie short film, and I needed a place to feed my 20-person cast & crew. Mark Gill, owner of Angels Creek Restaurant, came to our rescue! He stayed open late for us on a Saturday night and welcomed us with a hot meal. We were all happy and well-fed. Thank you so much, Mark and your crew! Look for the release of Gold Miner Mayhem soon! For more info on the film, write to us at goldminermayhem@gmail.com. Cheers and go enjoy a great meal at Angels Creek Cafe!

I loved this place! Went to Calaveras county over the long weekend for some hiking among the Big Trees and since we were late to the show, we could only find accomodations in Angels Camp. Fair. Woprked out great cuz we headed to like the only place listed for breakfast in the area - Angels Creek Restaurant! Seems like a 2 man show - cook in the back, and dude in the front taking orders, clearing tables, and accomodating whoever comes in. Moving customers to different tables to accomodate others walking in - perfectly fine if you haven't started eating yet (qand we hadn't.) Made it feel more like family. And though they didn't have the orned beef hash either day (bummer!) we thoroughly enjoyed their biscuits and gravy, omelettes, COFFEE, waffles, and everything in between. Coffee refills were quick to come and the man was ON TOP OF EVERYTHING! I wish this place was closer to home, I'd love to give him our business every weekend. You should come here for yummy breakfast and lower key area than Murphys and north. This place was great! YUM! My mouth is watering rn for breakfast at 6pm on a Friday. Honey, wanna' go on a road trip??

Love this place! Great food, incredible gravy, wonderful service! Don't miss it. Family owned and operated.

We won't go back. The the miners omelette, which has bacon, ham, sausage, cheese, bell peppers, and onions. Unfortunately, there was no cheese inside the omelette, and not much meat. They barely sprinkled some cheese on the outside, which is not how you make an omelette. I know. I make amazing omelettes! The other thing was, that the bell peppers were raw, not sautéed first like everybody else does. The hashbrowns were not crispy. They were soft, and the only thing that was good was the English muffin because I asked them to make sure it was toasted. Yeah, we will not go there again.

He said the chicken fried steak tasted good, but it got soggy pretty quickly. The hash browns were amazing though definitely tasted freshly made. Eggs were just okay. Service could've been a little better. It wasn't busy, and our server never came by to ask if we needed refills (which was noticeable because my boyfriend goes through water fast ). Ambiance in there was normal. Other than that, it was a cool place to check out!

Ample parking, looks like this was a dennys at one time but has been throughly remodeled with current fixtures etc. We had only one server on the floor this morning and it showed. We waited patiently as we should, life moves slower up this way. The short menu covered the basics and had all you would need for a meal, open till 2pm. M did a half pancake order, one instead of two pancakes, with fruit. An Omelet for me, add ur own ingredients, add protein is extra $. Fruit for me no potato, add a side of bacon (4) that we can share. Some water and a coffee Oh wait and add a strawberry shake togo. The food was out in good order, warm not hot, my cooked well bacon was cooked brittle...okay. The fruit dish was sliced bananas, blackberries and a few blueberries, served in an 8z dish. The portions were fair for the price these days. What I found is the atmosphere was just not there for me. Sure it was newish and modern but also cold and not very friendly. There was no character, no personality, nothing interesting from the dining room to the plate. Sure the food was ok but I doubt many locals are in here on a regular basis I didn't see them. Our Strawberry shake to go was well in a word "flavorless". As I think about this review, adding up the stars I'm just trying to finish and move on to our day, I know that will be more interesting. food guy_martin

We started our meal with a delicious mocktail with sodw, lime, pineapple and? Then had a second with our shared skirt steak dinner. We are fiber fans in our 7th decade. I'd never eaten broccolini, unsophisticated me. Are the stems supposed to be tender as the asparagus stem end cut off and thrown away? Ours was. Great jaw exercise for our flapping chins and Lordy, Lordy! Such fiber. The steak and starch side were good. The advisor at our Best Western mentioned Mike's Pizza, a Thursday night Bocche Bowler on the Camps pitch mentioned Gus's Steak House.
