They have large tables to accommodate almost any size family. They also have a separate Hookah room for those that would like to get the total experience of the Middle East. Their prices are much cheaper than Brooklyn and they have a great variety of tobacco for the Hookahs. Our waiter made sure we were not rushed and did a great job in making sure he met the expectations of someone in our group who is very picky about their food. LOL We ordered several appetizers including the Hummus, Tabouli salad, Kebeh balls, and Baba Ganoush. Everything was fresh nice size portions, light and had great taste. I have to say the appetizers by itself were filling. For entrees we had the Chicken Skewers Shish the Chicken and Kufta Skewers Shish, the Chicken and Lamb Skewers Shish, and the Shrimp Kebob. Pictured is stuffed eggplant with Sukran, the lovely chef who makes everything fresh from scratch. On the menu today was also stuffed peppers. This restaurant specializes in baked foods rather than the typical kebabs and they have perfected their craft. Our favorite thing on the menu is the lahmacun and it is fantastic. The dough is stretched thin and cooked such that it is crispy but still pliable enough to fill and roll up. They have everything down to a science. We were pretty hungry and ordered 3 lamacuns for each person and shared a salad. Lamacun uses minced lamb, which can be hard to get right, but the meat here was fresh and spiced perfectly. After ordering and finishing 12 lamacuns for the table we ordered 8 to-go such that we could freeze them at home and save them for later. They are that good and at 6 dollars each well worth it. The one thing to keep in mind is that all these baked goods are made fresh so keep that in mind if things take a little while to come out. It's well worth the wait!
