Update: Jayla who made the pizza was upbeat, patience and friendly. The pizza was fresh tasting and hot. Glad I gave it another chance Subway order style.. Most signature pizza are 6.99 and up.. Got the pepperoni and all meat with added veggies. Got the classic crust which is higher edge like a deep disb but bland. I wish they had a chicafo style deep dish with butter crust. That is the kind of pizza I eat since taste like a meal. The dessert choc chip brownie slice looks good but they unable to warm it up and do not have ice cream. Overall, I prefer California pizza kitchen better with more selections. This is a quick eatery but I will stick with

They are super safe!! Look at how they have the ingredients & staff sectioned off. They placed a large clear curtain between the customers and the food and stuff. This is very smart and safe. They are currently giving you a to go cup and some napkins . You can get as many as you like however they will hand them to you at the front counter. For a soda refill, you'd have to ask for a new cup to prevent cross contamination. So smart! I also enjoy the thin crust pizza, and I create my own. Don't skip the magic dust! It's a mixture of Parmesan cheese and spices, which gives the pizza a good flavor. I felt safe, the tables were sectioned off and they were constantly disinfecting. You can always do to go also! For dessert I recommend the cinnamon sticks, they were so delicious and good. Warm gooey cinnamon roll drizzle right on top!

I do not even know how to start this review. Well, I will start this is my first time to this location, but second time to a pie five. I waited in line for a few minutes as it was dinner time. The service was great and welcoming to start. The ladies that made my pizza and salad were so friendly and asked me several times if everything was to my satisfaction. When my pizza was finished in the oven the lady, who I later found out was a manager, just disappeared. She didn't say anything to me or her coworkers--she literally disappeared and did not return. Because of that the dude at the register was left to do like three jobs and the line got totally backed up. Left with my pizza, which was the Athenian that had chicken, mixed veggies, and mozarella cheese. Had a bite of it in the car and the crust was super dry, stiff, and tasted like cardboard. So, I decided to return the restaurant and exchange my pizza. I told this to one of the staff and she hesitantly said that she would have to get the manager. So, I was negatively confronted by the same manager that disappeared and was told that their pizza dough and toppings are fresh and that they would only make this exchange one time. I told her that I was not questioning the freshness, but definitely the quality of the dough. As I placed my new order the manager spoke negatively about another customer in front of me. A customer ahead of me complained about the lettuce not being fresh and wanting new lettuce in her salad. Manager stated that "she did not care that she was going to complain, our stuff is fresh, so I do not see why she was complaining about it." I just shook my head at her attitude and behavior and left--this is how a manager acts in front of customers?!? Wow! This is my last time at Pie Five. I guess I may be expecting too much from the subway of pizza. Do not look here for quality of food or service--keep driving!

Great place to go the Build your Own Pizza is awsome when you add the panzanno crust with magic dust. The employees are always nice and friendly. Much better product than the competitors!

I came here to have lunch this past Monday with my wife, and the pizza was still good as we remembered. We both got the high five meat( I got traditional crust, and she got the stuffed crust) and a order of cinnamon sticks EVERYTHING was great! Customer service was awesome from the very moment we walked in. Thank you for another great experience.

Pie five has been on my radar for a bit and I finally made it in today. I ordered and paid online and just had to pop in to pick it up. It was hot and read for me when I got there and the young man I encountered was friendly. I was pleased with my pickup. But in the end, it all comes down to the pie. It was hot and fresh, and the toppings seemed to be of good quality. My problem, is the crust. It was under done and bland. There was no texture to it, the color was very light. It wasn't doughy, but could not be described as anything close to a crispy crust. The bottom just sagged under the weight of a few toppings. Really, what makes a superior pizza is the crust! I have looked at pictures of their food, and the pizzas all look golden, and mine just...wasn't. I think the concept is great, the price point is awesome, and maybe with another minute or so, the crust would be more than just calories holding up cheese. I will give them another try. I also asked for the magic dust, but again my crust didn't taste like anything, so I am not sure it was on there. There are a lot of these fast casual pizza places popping up, and I will reserve final judgment after another visit. Though I will say they have the speed and the service and I WANT to like them.

This pizza is really good. You go through the line and have many choices to make. Type of crust. Size of pizza. Choice of sauce. Choice of cheeses. Choice of toppings. Many choices for pizza toppings and you can customize it exactly like you want it. They have meats, vegetables and various other options such as different types of cheeses and whether you want the magic dust sprinkled on your pizza or not after it is fully cooked. A little on the expensive side but the pizza is excellent so you get what you pay for.

Tried this location because I received a coupon for a BOGO pizza. I have been to one Pie Five before and I couldn't really remember if I liked it or not. So I ordered one of the menus pizzas for the hubby (BBQ CHICKEN) and I did a CYO pizza (I had the spicy marinara sauce, cheese, peppers, onions, spinach, pepperoni). Both pizza were on thin crust and they were REALLY good! The pizza prep person did forget my pepperoni which I didn't realize until I got home (totally my own fault). They employees were all pretty nice and helpful. The only potential con I could see would be that when this place it crowded you can not go here if you are in a rush. I will come back again when I'm craving pizza that I won't have to share.

What I received and I posted a pic of one on the wall is what your are supposed to get

I have been to several of these in the area Greenville,Kellerand Montgomery Plaza all excellent but the one by DWF airport and 121 by Glade road I have gone to three times with same poor experience and it all due to the poor management she controls the cost at your expense she shorts you on your pizza size slapping it a inch and half too small and then proceeds to control cheese and toppings ,she takes the helm to do this to make her food and labor cost produce her a bonus at your expense here are photos ,maybe get the pan pizza

It's been awhile since I've ordered online and I didn't know Salata had an online order pickup area now. So I go in and sit at a nearby booth expecting the currently-empty pickup area to have my order put in it shortly. It was lunch rush, and they were hopping, so I expected a bit of a wait. After my 13 minute pickup window comes and goes, I decide to stand near the shelves looking purposeful in case I can get someone's attention. When I do so, an employee calls out asking if I have a pickup. Turns out my order had been waiting at the register end of their very long assembly line for who knows how long. How was I supposed to know? Why have an online order area if you're not going to use it? It felt like I had to a regular to know this magical info. Salata - My suggestion would be to fill in your online order shelving with something else useful and stick an "Online Pickup" ceiling sign over the registers so people know where to go. (haven't had my food yet, it's for dinner. At least they put the dressing on the side like I asked! Hoping it's yummy)

It tasted like it was made yesterday and was very over cooked. Either that or it was smoked salmon. I called and the person that answered just handed the phone to the manager mid sentence and she proceeded to tell me that they do not put out dry or over cooked salmon and that it was the glaze I was seeing. She said this several times. I explained that I've cooked salmon many, many times and would never serve over cooked and potentially say old salmon to a customer. Now I get why the salmon was buried under the salad greens and not sitting on top. Anyway, the manager did not handle the call very well in my opinion and seems to think that the food was likely perfect, because it's the pomegranate glaze that turns it brown. Haha. So, I've included pics so you can see it. It smells slightly fishy and is hard to the touch. The brown outside is that glaze that she thinks I was concerned with even though, I never mentioned color. I also have a video. Not sure I would go here again, or maybe I need to try another location next time. I have a video of me hitting the salmon with a fork and it sounds like I'm hitting a piece of wood. Also, Please train your managers better on how to professionally handle customer concerns.
