The atmosphere was amazing. It's clear that the owner of this restaurant had a vision for a restaurant and they went for it. From something as simple as the plates on the wall that are decorated to the pizza box decoration to even the game boards that they have out for the customers. It's clear they are going for the chill out spot kind of restaurant, which really sets them apart from the sea of constant restaurants who feel the need to be neat proper, and just like every other restaurant that you could see down the block. The music you can hear in a restaurant tells a lot about not only the owners but about the actual restaurant itself whether it's Souless pop or elemental jazz. Or music that has me searching for the name of the song it tells a lot about the restaurant, allowing your employees to freely, choose their own music etches a form of loyalty and respect for what they are doing even if it's something as small as music it goes a long way, it allows them to feel comfortable in there setting and reflects there own personality, now the serious stuff because you could have the most comfortable restaurant in the world but if you don't have good food, customers will not return, I would like to start off by saying that I really enjoy how this place serves pizza by the slice. However, if you're doing that you have to ensure that it's not your main focus, for example when I order a large supreme pizza I shouldn't pick up a slice and have all the toppings fall off while it sags tremendously, there's an easy fix to this, just don't roll your dough out as thin when it comes to whole pies, and when your making your by the slice pizzas roll them out thin for that big slice that people enjoy when they take it for the go, I felt no love in the ingredients, throw in some seasoning, step out of the box and show me you have a passion for food because if you don't why do you even own a restaurant¿ passion should always come before the business, and I just wasn't feeling it, I couldn't help but assume the sauce was canned, and that the ingredients were frozen and I could be wrong but if I'm not, your not only disrespecting your restaurant but your disrespecting the people that go to it as well, you would be running it like a fast food joint if this is the case. It's clear you make enough revenue to afford fresh ingredients, so do it, fresh tomato sauce goes along way much like every other ingredient I would be extremely disappointed to see a restaurant with such potential go to waste just because they wanted to save a couple bucks on ingredients and if it is fresh, advertise that people like knowing there food is fresh, and I get it if it's making money don't change, but in the restaurant industry it's that change that separates you apart from everyone else much like your dining room, it's different and that's what drew me towards it, now show me that your food can match that same energy, I wanna feel every pinch of seasoning in every bite I want toppings that don't fall off I want pizza that doesn't sag, all I want is love in the food I'm tasting, I want to know that someone cared about this pizza and put genuine effort into how it tasted, I want to taste something that not even my mom could make at home, the point of a restaurant is to not only put yourself on a plate but to also give someone an experience they couldn't have at home, and yea maybe I did jus get a bad pizza but if that's the case, this would mean your restaurant is hit or miss I shouldn't hope that today I get a pizza that was just as good as yesterdays, the customer shouldn't have to be dissatisfied in there experience because the restaurants inability to properly produce quality food consistently. Because with food consistency is key, I wanna taste the same food I tasted yesterday, it's clear you are able to make good pizza but can you make great pizza and please everyone including critics it's clear its owned by a younger crowd but I hope they are mature enough to see this as criticism instead of hate, there is potential here and I'd love to see them fulfil it I would leave this review on google but it wont allow me to, either way i hope the owners see this read more

Really disappointed. Ordered a pizza and salad for delivery through Grubhub. Salad dressing was missing and the pizza was burnt. Things happen. I called the restaurant and explained what happened. I was told he would call me back after contacting grubhub technical support. What's even more disappointing than the condition of our $38.00 dinner was that I never received a phone call back. Got a slice of one of the daily specials and one of the margherita. Both tasted good. I asked for my second slice to be warmed up longer because the first slice I got wasn't hot and they did leave it in longer but it still wasn't really hot when I took a bite. I think I didn't like this because it makes the pizza tastes doughy and I like a crispier pizza. Saw this new spot on North Higgins and decided to check it out. The employee I asked said they had only been open for three days now. Pie Hole is a new joint that serves pizza-by-the-slice and is open late-night, for those out and about traveling between bars. I had a slice of pepperoni pizza for $2.60 that was a good size for the price. I enjoyed the slice, although would say it was greasier than it needed to be. Just lifting the slice off my plate and it started dripping grease. I would recommend dabbing the slice with a napkin to bring it down to reasonable levels before eating. read more

I am a fan of Pie Hole (the SLC location previously). Went to the missoula location and was served luke warm slices. They skipped the step of heating them in the oven prior to serving them. When asking the person running the register to heat the slices up (like they do normally) he said he could only heat the ones which didn't have bites in them. Logic would say just get new slices in that case which I suggested, but was then just ignored instead of any response given. Bottom line is. No one wants cold pizza. Worst customer service I've ever seen. Had been waiting over 10 minutes before anyone ever greeted me. Very poor communication - manager didn't bother to mention if my pizza had even been started yet. Finally after about 20 minutes just standing there I asked as politely as possible where my pizza was. An employee with facial tattoos became super agitated - threw down the pizza cutter and began shouting and raising his voice. I left without my pizza and I'm never going back. There is nothing special except the fact that they are open until three AM. Once you get pass that, the pizza is just your basic pizza that has very few toppings and since it is served by the slice they are reheated to luke warm. The place is also super noisy to the point that you have to pretty much yell to be heard. read more

I realize the governor and legislature wont allow mask mandates but the individual staff members could make the right decision and choose themselves to wear masks.
