I do not usually take the time to submit reviews; however, Piedmont Brewery is special. I have been frequenting this establishment for over a year now and have yet to have a bad experience. Their staff is always friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is always inviting with just the right amount of volume with ambient music that does not drown out conversation. The pretzel bites are soft and the beer cheese is delicious with just the right amount of bite. I have tried several entrees, though after choosing the Pork Belly Bowl, I have not ordered anything else. It is just that good! I also have to make special mention to Sarah and Meg. They were extremely kind and went above and beyond in their interactions with my toddler on Valentine's Day. Thank you both! read more

I love this BBQ! Yes, I know there are a few old spots in Griffin that have a reputation but Piedmont Brewery is fresh and really good. I've had the burger, brisket sandwich and salad, and other items on the menu and have never been disappointed. The brewery selection is awesome too! You won't be disappointed! Good brewery and bbq spot! Plenty of parking. We got sat right away, and our waitress was really friendly and attentive. The had a good variety of merch when you walk in, super cute, and lots of to-go beverages as well. Plenty of video games to choose from too. They had a lot of cool artwork on the wall! I'd love to buy it all! We had the bbq platter with brisket and 1/2 rack of ribs (up charge of $5) with a side of waffle fries and fruit. The waffles fries were great, crispy and seasoned well. Fruit was fresh. Brisket was good with the firecracker bbq sauce, however, the wings had WAY too much pepper on them and it was all I could taste. The pork rinds with bleu cheese mousse was to die for! 10/10. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating - clean bathrooms. Great spot! read more

First time visiting here and it was so fun and laid back. It's a fun environment for kids as well; spacious with televisions playing movies, mini arcade area, extensive menu for them, its colorful inside and just an all around fun yet relaxed vibe. The food was delicious, I loved the French dip with au jus! It was smokey, tender, juicy and very flavorful. The wings were also smokey and flavorful with a few options to choose from for dry rubs and sauces. Service was great! Our server was kind, attentive with the coolest style. This is a hidden gem in downtown Griffin, Georgia. How could you not know about this one-of-a-kind place? I like Griffin, but you don't find restaurants and breweries like Piedmont Brewery. I found this gem of a place because my sister works at the University of Georgia right down the street. She casually mentioned my liking for pork belly, and I do, a whole lot. She told me she knew a place, and that's how I landed at this beautiful gem of a place. I walked in, and right away, the aesthetics caught my attention--the style is a mixture of plants and artwork that played throughout the restaurant, bar, and beer garden. I actually discovered a local artist's mural on the wall that I know. The tables and chairs were also pieces of artwork. I should mention here that you should follow my order in this review, and you'll thank me later. The waitress suggested we start with the pretzel bites; they are the softest, most delicate, and delicious little bites you can eat whole with just one bite. They literally melt in your mouth. I can eat a whole basket alone. It is served with Beer cheese and Creole mustard. Now, I did like the creole mustard, but the beer cheese was my favorite; it had a savory and spicy taste that couldn't be beat. The main attraction, the Pork Belly mixed with collard greens and rice in one bowl, was the best because you have all the flavors dancing together. I loved that the pork belly was cut into cubes and either fried or grilled. I love that it had burnt ends, that's where the flavor is hidden, and the rest was tender to perfection. The whole meal was delicious; the spicy collards, rice, and pork belly were the best combination. Now, we aren't sleeping on the wings. We got them too. read more

Typical Griffin GA fare. Food was mediocre at best. Service was good. I was told by my party that the craft beer selection was good. I know we are in the south, but this place needs to get a little more sophisticated with the offerings. The folks over in SunCity are from all over the country and looking for better. The first place who does it well in this space in Griffin will really bring in the $$$ read more
