In Griffin, your basic wing place. The staff is very nice, wings are on the small side, but not the price except on wing day on Mondays and I believe Tuesdays. Good selection on the number of sauces. Competition is big in this space, so the place is average at best. read more

From my last review to now unfortunately Wings and Beer has taken a dive. First sign on the door. Menu does not show actual prices. So what are the prices?? Who knows! My bill hit $80 and that was shocking as I usually spend 50-60. Quality of food is no better which is not that great. Waitresses are nice and try really hard. I had the wings which were good, but the smallest pieces that I have ever seen which I addressed and was told that this varies since the wings are purchased fresh. It was good for the value ($17 for a dozen wings and fries) and was told that Monday and Tuesday was 75 cent wing days. I had the signature gold sauce which was good. I stopped in last night to get some food and ordered some boneless lemon pepper wings. There were delicious. The turn around on the order was quick. They staff were very nice and they were all beautiful ladies. I ordered them when celery and ranch dressing. I hope to stop in at some time in the future and have dinner at the restaurant. read more

Stopped in for a late dinner. Place was slow. I looked at some reviews. They were mixed. Some good and some bad. I asked the waitress, what's up with your reviews on Yelp? She said, they had a problem with keeping staff, emergencies etc. Typical stuff behind the doors of any food service place. Especially now when people don't want to work and definitely, don't want to work hard. I ordered the Doz (12) wings, hot with side winder fries. Wow, those wings were pretty good and meaty. Side winders were awesome also. I've been here a few times and I've never experienced any issues. Food has always been really good. Service is good, i always sit at the bar. I've been in there with a group of people. They try to get everybody served and attend to what they need. What do you expect? Management had been good. inrecieved the worst customer service tonight. i ordered through toast that was a DoorDash deliver. I received the wrong food. The toast app states to call the restaurant if you have an issue with your order so I did. I was told that there was nothing they could do and they refused to remake my order. I basically lost out on my meal and the money that spent at this establishment. I will never order online from them and to be honest, I probably ever order at all from them again. just know if you order food online they will do nothing to make it right. read more

Very unprofessional, rude, and poor management but the food is decent. I was charged for the wrong check as well as my check and the next day I requested a refund for it. They seem confused on how to help me and the manager took 2 days to finally reach out to me because she was "investigating". She then told me that our sever didn't charge us for 2 beers and 2 shots so if I wanted my refund I would have to pay for those drinks or our server would have to. She said that if the server had to pay that "it would be on you" and "I don't know how your conscious is". So she basically tried to guilt trip me because their employee messed up! read more

I'm sorry yall. Let me start with saying the food was good as usual. We've been many times and have no complaints there. Tonight though, we were seated and forgotten about for 20 minutes. We finally had to ask to be served. Btw there was 7 of us. So we ordered an app, drinks, food all at once. Food came out super fast and app never did. Food was good, as I said. Service was good after that. However bill was $82 and change. When I paid with $100 bill I reminded her to take off the $5 app that never came. My change was $17 and she pointed out she took off app. Dont think so darlin. Sorry your tip reflected this. Get your other $5 from the till when you do remove the appetizer. It was my first time visiting here when I came to celebrate a family member's birthday party. There were at least 30 guests attending and several tables had been arranged to accommodate the large party. I think this place is only a few months in the game, from the feel of it all. It's a decent size sports bar and there's a separation wall between the bar and the dining area. It's also kid friendly and seemed to have more than enough televisions to satisfy everyone. They are EVERYWHERE! I was there on a Sunday afternoon around 4pm and there were 2 servers holding down the restaurant and working the party. They were working hard but seem overwhelmed most of the time. They didn't really have a plan or procedure for taking an order and associating people with their order. As they brought out the food, they shouted it out and it was up to you to remember what you ordered. Some of the orders were wrong but they were taken care of and corrected. When I got my bill there were 2 items added that I didn't ordered and when I pointed it out to the waitress, they were removed. I don't know how this place get it done when the bar is full of sports fans, high levels of testosterone infused with copious amounts of wing eating and beer drinking going on. And hopefully they don't run out of beer and have to go buy some, keeping patrons waiting, like they did, the day I was there. I want to see you succeed but you'll have to up your service game, if you expect people to keep coming back. read more

Decided to try get wings today around 6pm. I called was put on hold for 10 min, so I hung up and called again. They answered but I was put on hold again. I arrived while still waiting for the hostess to get back to me. Walking in the door she finally answers, only to tell me it's a 45 m to an hour wait. Why in the hell didn't she just say that when she 1st answered, it would have saved me an unnecessary trip. I was pissed.. I know your busy, but use some common sense. Update******* Okay I came back figured I'll give hem another chance. The wait time was better although it was no way busy, so I can say how it would've been if it was busy. My older review was 3 stars now it's 2. The reason? First off I order the grilled chicken sandwich, it was NOT seasoned at all! Maybe a little black pepper and that was it. The most bland chicken sandwich I've ever eaten. I did like that they added fries to the menu and they were seasoned. But I'm not going to a restaurant to just eat fries or onion straws. They also stopped serving liquor so no more mixed drinks. Your choices are soft drinks, tea or beer. This was my 3rd time coming so I tried to give them a fair chance. If you're looking to just watch the game and eat wings and drink beer than it might be for you. Okay this is my second time here. The first time I came it was packed! So I understood that the service was a little slow. Tonight I drove by and saw that it wasn't packed, so I decided to try it again. Well it was still slow. They're food is good don't get me wrong, and their mixed drinks are great! But the kitchen and I say kitchen because the waiter came right when we sat down to take our order was slow. So look for a wait when you come. Don't come when your super hungry. I hope the owner steps up his game get the kitchen moving faster before they start loosing business. I don't see myself going back. The reason why I gave three stars is because the food is good. Terrible service saturday night, 2 servers and still drinks eere empty. Their sttitude was awful, both complained the whole time we were there anout the kitchen and owner yelling about food in window. We were told our regular server was no longer there. Here we go, went to this restaurant to eat for my Mom's B-Day and from the drink order it starts. We asked for 3 of the drinks to have no ice. (They were the same drink). They had ice. We told the server and she brings 1 back with no ice. Then I asked her what boom boom sauce was and she says," umm, I'll let you try it." OK. Then we asked, " what is the blackened chicken?" "It's a seasoning." She says, "something the kitchen puts on the chicken." Really? She brings out the seasoning for us to see it. OK. That works. We place our order of 48 wings. We were not asked bone in or bone out. We wanted 6 bone out. So we get up to go tell our server after she dropped the order. She comes back to tell us "too late". My boy friend told her, "no, please make sure 6 are bone out for my Sister." She shook her head in agreement. Her 6 wings came out first, and they were pretty terrible. Over fried, the flavor was Garlic Parmesan. Too much parm.. Gross. When the server asked how they were, my Sister told her not that great. So the server asked what flavor would she like? She chose another flavor. Lemon Pepper. Believe it or not, they sucked. So when asked, she honestly replied they weren't good. We received the rest of the wings. 5 different flavors. The presentation was nice. I liked how the servers wore black gloves. Any how, we were not impressed with the wings. We ate though. Made the best of it. The tea was great and the vegi quesidilla was delicious. When the check came, we were actually charged for 6 extra wings. 48+6 OK. No biggie, annoying but no problem. Wrong. We tell the server and turns out there's no Manager on duty to handle it. Void it. Whatever. There was a Manager there earlier, but he left. It was his day off and he felt he wasn't needed until close. :) So now we are just waiting for someone to do something. They needed to call another Manager to come in and handle our situation real quick. Wow. OK, so a guy shows up and is so nonchalant about the whole thing. He removes the six wings and says, " take off the six wings cause that's all she asked for." (To the server) This entire post meal incident took about 30 minutes to handle. The final straw- while waiting for the check adjustment the cook came out and started arguing his side in front of us! I was done. Done and done. This lousy, unprofessional restaurant called Uncle Bobby's Beer and Wings should reevaluate their customer service practices and Manager schedules. The management made it right at the end. Let's hope they were just having "a bad day". I hope they can figure it out. read more

Amazing service , great menu, and the best wings in town other than our other usual of course. They have a big screen tv at every booth ( if your a sports fan this'll be the place to go) it was nice and clean and they did an amazing job remodeling from when it use to be Maria's.
