Arguably the best vegan spot in town with an all encompassing menu and bar. It is so shocking for a place to do this much and do it so well. Particular highlights are the Bang Bang Broccoli, the Thai Fried Rice, the Pancakes and the Pozole. Very pleasantly surprised! We came here for dinner one night and it was pretty empty and with such a diverse menu we didn't really know what to expect. But everything was very very good! The ambiance has a mix of bar at night and brunch during the day. The music had a techno futuristic trendy vibe but I liked it. Service was great. The waiter was very helpful and accommodating! I got the bicycle bowl with half chicken half tofu and I switched the kale for spinach leaves. It was really really good! The rice had a wonderful flavor mixed with veggies like bell peppers and cauliflower. The tofu had a crispy outside and a really good flavor. My boyfriend got the Adobe Burger and this really impressed both of us. The burger had a wonderful flavor and was a thick patty too! It came with hatch green chili and chipotle aioli! The fries didn't look like anything special, but they was awesome! Very fresh and perfectly salted! Overall, really impressed! I will recommend to friends. I think this place needs more publicity and advertising because not many people I talk to know about it. The waiter mentioned that the Pad Thai is one of their best dishes. Hi there saw you responded to me yelp review didnt read it but you did respond to my friends google review stating we did not tip our server and yes you're right we did not, tipping as you should know is not mandatory otherwise it would be included on the bill. Regardless of that... we certainly tip 9.99 percent of the time, unfortunately your waitstaff did an amazing job at making us feel unwelcome even though we were the only table there... FOR TWO HOURS. Maybe since you as an owner cannot provide her with a livable wage she should act a bit more courteous with guests as you make it out to be that she relied on that tip... perhaps it should be earned with good service. Had full intentions of tipping but when she left the check book and couldn't even say thank you or have a nice day that's what ultimately decided us to opt in for no tip. Seems to me the lack of guest service is a common occurrence after reading other reviews. Not to mentions she didn't speak much and seemed to be in auto pilot? Wearing sunglasses inside not sure if she was drugged or high? I don't know if you cooked my food that day the chicken sandwich you provided was not terrible at all just saucy? Not sure why it stings for you so personally but I did ask to have the cheese removed on my burger... that's not a substitution and yes I added Brie and jam to my food am I not allowed to ask for what I want on my food that I paid for? Might I add 20 bucks for a mid burger and I can't remove queso I have an allergy to peppers with is why I asked for the removal... what kind of restaurant doesn't allow burger modifications especially if they start at 20 bucks pls be so serious... but since I ENJOYED your establishment so much and ed the burgers last time I sucked it up and tried to replicate something you had on the menu before. This place hasn't been open long, only a few months? It's pretty awesome. My friend Hannah and I ended up eating a vegetarian dinner without meaning to. Just turned out that way because we ordered food that looked appetizing. We ordered the big hummus plate, the fried broccoli, and a side of kimchi. The fried broccoli is akin to a vegetarian's chicken wings. It's dipped in a thick batter and deep fried. The hummus plate is huge-definitely a 2+ person shared dish. The hummus is solid and mix it all up with the pickled vegetables and it's tasty. The kimchi is really fresh and tasty. They make a grilled cheese kimchi sandwich there which I'm definitely going to have to go back and try. We also got a few cocktails and they were all really good. I was later told the owner used to be the cook at Eloise but decided to open their own place. Well, I can't disagree that was a bad decision. read more

I went to eat with my parents and two aunts yesterday for a late lunch. Since COVID, I really haven't eaten inside any restaurants, but my worries were immediately put at ease when we saw how far apart the seating arrangements were and hand sanitizer was provided at every table. My mom is vegan, so Piedmont is a perfect place to go if you have a group with mixed eating preferences. I love that their menu includes meat AND vegan substitutes. I ordered the Bonito burger (burger with goat cheese and shishito peppers) with a side of fries and let me tell you, THAT WAS THE BEST BURGER I'VE HAD IN A VERY LONG TIME ! Everything was cooked to perfection. Not too salty and the burger was so juicy and delicious. My dad ordered the Alambre burger but ordered it with no salt on the burger or fries and they were able to make it just as he asked! The burgers and fries were big sized portions so definitely worth the price. My mom got the roasted avocado salad with a side of the smoked chickpeas and they were so tasty! I let our server know that we really enjoyed everything (even the music) and she said that everything is made in house including the buns! I am approaching this review from the standpoint of someone who eats a plant based diet. I could not be more impressed with their expansive options that not only provide vegan alternatives to traditional main stays but also provide unique flavors that even folks eating an omnivorous diet could appreciate. The seitan was an incredible and unique flavor that I am dying to try again. They prepare the impossible meat for a burger to perfection. And their home made aioli adds the exact fatty flavor profile you look for in a sandwich. All in all it was one of the best eating experiences I have had in 7 years of maintaining a plant based diet, and I highly recommend folks of all dietary backgrounds to give this restaurant a shot. read more

We had yummy food and great service Full Service Bar and Coffee always available. But it's hard to decide what this place is. I feel like it's someone's home and they are cooking all their best dishes for you. Everything is made from scratch especially the bread. Breakfast was offered all day with farm pasteurized eggs. I had the pad Thai it was good but I should've went from medium spice being a native El Pasoan. My husband had a pricey but worth every penny turkey club with thick applewood bacon. We came back here after it had been closed during the Pandemic as we like to support small, local businesses. The place was almost filled including the patio areas and we were seated and given menus and drinks in a timely manner. However, after ordering our food, it was close to 40 minutes before the food FINALLY arrived. Our server was apologetic and said the kitchen was backed up ( maybe hire another chef??). In spite of the LONG wait, the food was very delicious and had a beautiful presentation. Wife had the buckwheat pancakes with fresh berries and I had the Cowboy omelet. Very tasty and usual. I just have to knock them down one star for the slowness of the order. It seemed that there was plenty of servers but the kitchen was having problems. This place is amazing! This is hands down the best vegan friendly restaurant I've been to. I took my dad (meat/dairy eater)to this restaurant, and he was beyond impressed with the vegan entrees. There are, however, non vegan options as well. We've had the vegan Pad Thai with seitan, seitan club sandwich, and the Seitan "Riblet." I can't recommend this place enough-every dish we have tried has been perfection. Such an amazing global eclectic array of food. The bang bang broccoli, Adobe nachos, and shishito peppers appetizers were mouthwatering! I came here with 8 other people, we all ordered different meals and NOTHING disappointed! The drinks were awesome - I loved the hot tumeric chai almond milk latte. Today was my first time going, being saving it on my to go list for a while and finally had time to go. It was 2:30 and restaurant hours said they close at 3:00. I work in the industry and I know well not to go to restaurants with this time frame.. but I was conscious about it and just wanted to eat quickly and leave.. we entered and a lady told us to seat wherever we wanted to. We did and waited about 10 minutes until she came and gave us menu's and asked if we wanted water.. 10 more minutes and no one came servers came and go but nothing, not a "I'll be right back, nothing. It was as if we weren't even there.. honestly the menu items looked very good but service was awful I mean we didn't got any service.. we decided to leave and someone at the bar told us "thank you" as we left.. the lady that told us to seat wherever and gave us menu's was there; she seems like she was the one In charge of the place but she didn't do anything. They just didn't care.. If they don't feel like giving service to someone because they are 30 minutes from closing they could've just told us and that's that.. never going back. read more

Piedmont Cafe is one of my absolute favorite spots in El Paso, whether it's for a relaxing patio brunch (love the patio seating!), picking up lunch to go, or enjoying dinner with a friend. The menu is interesting and diverse, with tons of options for everyone (including many delicious vegan items). I have really enjoyed everything I've eaten there -- the food is consistently fresh and flavorful, with tons of attention to detail and presentation. They also have one of the best wine lists in the city, and make great espresso. Still a good place for food. Though the wait was RIDICULOUSLY Long this time... 2 hours to get our food. We made reservations for 6 people, plus another party of 15 also made reservations. So Kitchen knew it was going get Slammed with orders.... I suggestion, be better prepared, have a snack or something already prepared to offer a table if the Wait will be Long 2 Hour wait... Our server did say to us that the wait was going to be long, and that everything is made from scratch, but could offered something like Cucumber pickled chips or toasted garbanzo beans. Did I mentioned we waited 2 Hours... None of our friends who came to Celebrate with us are big drinkers, we did end up ordering a bottle of Wine to occupy the 2 hour wait. The Restaurant was also out of Chia tea and no Hot Chocolate either. We ordered at 12. noon the food finally arrived at 2.15ish. The made up for the long wait time, everyone's dish looked Amazing and Desserts were good, the Pistachio cake was a little dry and very little taste, but the Strawberry Mousse sauce saved the cake, the cheese cake was good, not a big fan of cheese cake, the Tres leche cake was the winner. We ordered one of each and split it into 6 even portions which was fine considering the Generous food portions of our meals. Very good Espresso coffee and regular coffee to end our meal and day. 5 stars for food 4 stars for server 2 stars for being out Chia tea and no table snack 1 star for the Looooonnnng 2 hour wait. read more

This review is not based on the food. We love their food and the vegan option. It's good for people with food allergies. We have been going frequently and love their dinner/ breakfast. We have Children and have taken them with us. We never had an issue. We always get the same waiter and he's been super nice. Today we went again with our kids and a friend and her kid. The moment we came in the owner who was waitressing started saying "oh no kids" to another table. She came to take our order not happy about it. We ate and and even tried to pick food our kids dropped on the floor. While we were getting our things together... she starts cleaning the High chair and starts grunting about it. While we are still there! Then she says: "I don't know how you have kids! "We were speechless! Then she proceeded to clean the other high chair making remarks about the food on it and saying kids are not for me! This whole time other people were listening to her comments. This is coming from the owner who should be about customer service. Not a kid friendly restaurant at all. Truly disappointed by this experience. Really sorry to give small El Paso business a bad review, but it is up to small businesses to give some value in what they serve. Went on Sunday ordered coffee which was not hot and seemed like it was not brewed coffee because it had grinds in it. The chihuamlet which was tasty but no sides for $16 but did get a biscuit some potato or beans might have been good. Ordered biscuits and gravy asked for bacon got bacon bits (not a vegetarian) and was not tasty. Worse was that servers were not welcoming. Seems we were harshing their mellow by being there. Cooks were not wearing hair nets and were very hairy guys. Luckily no hairs found in food. This place has potential, staff needs to remember it's a business not a their living room! I tipped and did not complain but will prolly not be back. Went because it came highly recommended. read more

A gem hidden along the Mesa corridor! The ambiance is cool and relaxed. There's also plenty of patio seating for those wanting to enjoy the weather in the city. All of the tables were spaced comfortably. The service was attentive and genial. Breakfast is served all day! The drink menu includes a peach julep and a boozy michelada among a variety of other cocktails according to one's alcohol preference. Non-alcoholic beverages are aplenty as well. There are so many things on the menu outside of the breakfast items that it was difficult to decide, but my lunch companion and I settled on sharing the guacamole and empanadas. (The vegetarian and vegan options are plentiful!) The tortilla chips that accompanied the very chunky and tasty guacamole were light and crisp and seasoned just right. The empanadas were smaller than I expected but their flavor packed a punch--and the cream they're served with was outstanding. I'm eager to return to try a grilled cheese (there are thee different options!) and the steak frites and the pad Thai. Tried this place for the first time today and I was blown away! The interior is inviting and great for conversation! Then we got our food and my experience went from good to amazing! The food was fresh and perfectly cooked. Their homemade French fries are to die for! My mom got the steamed vegetables and they were fantastic! The service was flawless and so friendly. This cafe also has a very inviting patio that I will be visiting soon! I'm thinking this is my new favorite local eatery on the west side! read more
