The staff was super friendly and greeted me with a smile and great service. I loved the deco which also brought back some childhood memories thanks to the art work on the wall. I asked for a for here cup for the pretty display and staff agreed kindly. When it comes to a work cafe there are some essentials. There is a very large bathroom in the back which is always a huge plus. The WiFi here can be a bit slow but there are also 2-3 different WiFi networks to pick from so one of them is bound to be decent. I would note that this cafe does lack outlets but I was able to locate a single plug near the back. There is a table for you to get and refill ice water near the center of the cafe. Overall top tier work cafe to take a quick meeting or just grind out a few assignments. They have seated tables and also standing bar tables based on your preferences. Will be coming back next time in Seattle .

They don't roast beans themselves, but source from various popular roasters like Idle Hands (from SLC) and Olympia (local to Seattle). POUR OVER - Price varies I tried two different pour overs during my visits: an Idle Hands Colombian that was on the pricier side and another more standard-priced light roast. Both were great! Each cup was well-extracted with a great bean-to-water ratio, allowing the fruity flavors of each coffee to shine. SQUASH HARVEST BREAD This made a great breakfast. It was moist and nutty with a subtle squash sweetness that was delicious. BLUEBERRY SCONE Very buttery with each bite packed with blueberries. Pretty standard scone, but I enjoyed it. The cafe itself has plenty of seating, and I was able to find a table on both visits (Sunday and Monday morning). Overall, Milstead became one of my favorite coffee shops in Seattle. Coffee was great across both visits, and I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm back.

One of my favorite cafés I've ever visited in the United States. Would love to see the owners spread the love to either LA or NY. They'd be a perfect match for both metropolitan meccas.
