I like the Thai-inspired menu with teas and espresso options. The space is huge with plenty of seating, a nice window bar area, and even a room for games.

I believe this is the first Thai coffee shop in Seattle. How cool is that???? We ordered the chocolate Thai tea and the burnt banana latte. They accidentally gave us the latte iced even though we ordered it hot so they had to make another drink and we got to keep the iced version as well. We liked the drinks we got. I love that another Asian coffee shop is in Seattle! There's tons of seating at this shop. It seems pretty chill so you can relax, study, or even work there if you'd like! When it's sunny, you'll get plenty of natural sunlight!

Nudibranch is a new Thai style coffee shop and a welcome addition to the Seattle coffee scene. To get here, there is street parking directly in front of the shop and all around the area. Inside, they have an open setup with a solid amount of seating filled with plants and natural light. For their menu, they have some unique Thai-inspired drinks to choose from. I ended up getting the Chocolate Thai Tea and we really enjoyed the flavors in it. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming.

Welcome to Seattle, nudibranch! The newest coffee shop on the block is Thai woman owned and their drinks and pastries are Thai inspired. From burnt banana latte to coconut cloud, their drinks invite innovation to the coffee scene. The jasmine syrups and banana syrups (the ones from the Thai inspired menu) are housemade. If you want something more classic, they also offer your typical selection of coffee drinks and syrups (organic but not housemade). They roast their own coffee and use beans from Thailand, which supports local farmers. I forgot to take a photo of their pastry case but they had a number of croissants, danishes, and homemade poptarts and sugar cookies. I asked the staff a lot of questions about their products and they were very knowledgeable and patient. Today they were handing out samples of their green tea tiramisu, which was absolutely delicious. I would spend good money for that and I couldn't believe I got it for free! Nudibranch also hosts other events, like air clay sculpting, cake decorating, temporary tattoos etc. which is so cool. They have a large sitting area and free wifi and clean bathrooms which makes studying here a breeze. Super helpful since it's right across the Seattle university campus! Easy to commute to via light rail too. Can't wait to be back and try the rest of their menu.

This place has a lot of Thai-inspired drinks and I happened to find it through social media so O decided to go on a Friday afternoon after work around 3pm to check it out. This is in Cap Hill so street parking is advised if going by car. It's minimal and clean inside with seating in a main area - which was completely full except for window seating - and a back room with a bunch more seating. For this visit I got their chocolate Thai tea, which looks to be Thai tea with a chocolate syrup swirl around most of the cup. It's pretty standard for Thai tea but the chocolate accentuated the sweet that the drink already had. It's like these two basic flavors found each other or something like that! All this and a relatively quiet interior despite the fact that sounds reverberates easily inside made a great experience here. The drink I had was definitely not enough to fully advertise this place well, so I'll need to make a return visit for their other features drinks.

Nudibranch Coffee has an experienced owner at the helm (worked at Starbucks) and supports and brought sustainable, single origin beans from the Chaing Mai region in Thailand. She partnered with a fave, Kuma Coffee, to roast these single origin beans. Loved seeing the process & logistics of bag design, cupping, tastings, having community feedback documented via IG. The indie cafe also has a strong, supportive network via collaborations, cross pollination between other owners and businesses to make the leap to a brick and mortar located on Seattle's Capitol Hill (12th and Madison) and proximate to Seattle University. I spent time onsite for over an hour to experience the energetic vibe during the grand opening. Determination, visionary, sharp business acumen in a coffee centric city. Bright, airy, love the detailed artwork. I enjoyed my iced Chocolate Thai Tea and warmed up pain au chocolat. There's Thai inspired bevs, espresso bevs, baked goods, and their signature coffee roasts available for purchase. A variety of seating with tables out front, adjacent window counter seating, and a back room with additional seating.

This is such a beautiful place and one of my favorite new cafes. Tons of seating in the front with a varied seating in the back that's decorated beautifully with hanging curtains and mood lighting. The pandan latte was a very good recommendation. The staff is very nice and lenient with discounts if you're a college student! One thing is the wifi is a bit iffy so hotspot might be a necessary backup.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS new Thai inspired coffee shop in town! I really love what they did with the space. There is so much seating in the front, and even more in the back space that they have. I love the ambiance and the natural light that fills the space. It's a very cozy environment that I can see myself working or studying in comfortably. Upon entering, I was greeted very kindly by the baristas who were all extremely friendly and gave great drink recommendations! I tried the Tangerine Americano which was delicious! I'm not much of an espresso person but I felt that the tangerine really balanced it out nicely. I had to go back for another drink so I also tried the Thai Iced Tea which was also a banger! Not too sweet which I like! I can't wait to return to try more of the menu. Definitely a great addition to the neighborhood.

Interior is nice with lots of seating and a back quiet work area, however I didn't enjoy the Thai green tea, and it was $9, maybe the other drinks are better

Lovely place to grab Thai coffee and other speciality drinks! I enjoyed their unique menu and friendly service. The mango matcha was good, it did have a strange taste to it near the end. I'd come back!

This place is super cute! Their bakery was really good and their drinks were fun and unique. Both were quite tasty and well-made. The staff were very friendly and got me a bag to help carry my stuff! The ambiance is really cute and artsy. The back room looks like a great spot for working or reading. The front is good for chatting with friends. Would definitely come back!

Found this hidden gem in the city! Such a cozy spot with a great atmosphere. The coffee is top-notch, and they have some really creative signature drinks that you have to try. The owner is incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The only downside is that parking can be a bit of a challenge, so plan ahead. Definitely worth the visit though!"

    Steven M.

New cute spot with tons of seating and a nice back area to chill and talk quieter. Enjoyed the ambiance but don't think my drink brought out the full coffee profile (tangerine americano). Would swing by for another work session or hangout!

    A religious experience....

They clearly care about their image as they offer a free mug for first-time customers with an email sign-up. The drinks here are ok, but they average between $8-$10 each. I think the pricing is just much too high. You're paying for the vibes, not for a great cup of coffee. The matcha we tried was mediocre. There are so many other great places for coffee in Seattle, for just a fraction of the price. I think Storyville is preying on tourists visiting the market. They probably have to charge that much to keep the 8 employees milling about behind the counter employed. The space does have lots of seating, but it was nearly full during our early afternoon visit. Save your money, find another great local coffee spot!

This was on a Sunday afternoon close to 5pm, and there were still so many people occupying nearly every seat inside. I did come back to try their matcha matcha drink only to find it gone from their current menu as of May 2026. Instead, their turon matcha immediately caught my eye, as it has banana and I've been obsessed with banana-flavored toppings and puree on my matcha lately. It has matcha and house banana puree, both of which work well together. The tiny layer of house banana puree has all the flavor, especially when you mix the whole drink together. Very refreshing, and their ceremonial matcha's grassy tones still came out despite the banana puree being just as strong in the drink. Their matcha here comes pretty close to making it to the highest spots on my list of my most favorite matcha places in Seattle. Even if it isn't on the top of that list, their drinks are still 5+ star quality.

We ordered the matcha banana pudding and hojicha ginger tofu pudding lattes. Service took ~10 mins. The matcha banana pudding was yummy. The matcha was of good quality and the banana pudding top was a smooth, cream top that tasted just like banana pudding, with a fun crunch in the topping. The hojicha ginger tofu was a bit more adventurous in flavor. The ginger and tofu messed with my brain and made it feel like I was drinking a savory asian sauce/soup, but the drink was still sweet. I kept sipping, but the strange savory/sweet limbo never really balanced correctly to truly enjoy the drink. On the plus side, the silken tofu was fun to sip through the straw and added some protein. There is seating indoors, but the tables can fill up quickly. Some people were wfh, but most were chatting. There is 1 hr complimentary WiFi. Typical Seattle street parking. Overall, the latte flavors were fun to try and it was an aesthetic cafe. But, the prices for the lattes make them more of a novel, hyped up purchase.
