I ordered 2 custom pizzas and they added to $30! It's quite pricey nowadays for food but dang. The location is great because you can grab food to eat before or after the movies. The service was quick and the lady that made my pizza was nice. The person that baked my pizzas baked it to perfection also. I recommend trying all of the meats that they offer. I really like this place! Came here for the first time with my mom about a month ago, and again today because I was shopping at Delta Shores. The first time we came there was only one woman working and she was holding it down. Today there were two people and almost every table was taken about noon. They have vegan cheese which I appreciate always. I get their regular crust with lots of veggies. My daughter and I sat outside and she got to roam around their gated patio. When I went back in to get a box every table was clean and wiped down. You'd never know the place was just packed! They have great customer service and great pizza. Sadly, very pedestrian...as in average. Staff were very kind and friendly so they deserve 5 stars but the flavor and taste of the pizza were about 3 stars. The pizza and flavors were lacking in deliciousness. The red sauce was bland, watery and a bit sour while the crust was somewhat soggy and burnt at the same time. I've been to other Pieology spots where it was amazing so this could've just been an off day for this location and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. i came to dine in for a calzone. the service was quick & efficient. you're allowed 5 toppings for a calzone so i chose spinach, tomato, jalapeño, onion & pineapple. it also comes mozzarella & ricotta cheese & i got a side of marinara & ranch. the calzone itself was filling for $15 but nothing to rave about. my favorite part about it was the crust which was delicious! the ranch had a good taste & texture. the booth seats were a little crumby & could've used a quick wipe down but it was nothing crazy. other than my boyfriend & i, it was relatively empty inside. the thing that bothered me the most was what was playing on the television, it was all short form content compilations of people doing parkour, intense work outs & dogs... news, a cooking show or even modern family probably would've been fine. this place wasn't awful but i don't feel compelled to return at all. read more

My friends and I stopped at Pieology before going to the movies. The staff is not very friendly, but tolerable at the very least. The lady who made my pizza was less than pleasant. I ordered a stuffed crust BYO pizza and at the steep price of $4 extra for stuffed crust I expect to have a decent amount of cheese for the price. I get my pizza and the pizza is barely stuffed with cheese and cheese was in every other slice when I took it to the employee. Not only that, but my pizza was burnt up at the bottom and overpowered the flavor of the pizza. I had my pizza remade and was told if I want mote cheese in the dough it was an additional $1 flipping ridiculous considering there was hardly no cheese in the crust in the first place, but whatever. I definitely do not recommend this location as they are stingy and overpriced. I prefer the Rancho Cordova location they would never pull this crap! 1 Star - Absolutely Unacceptable Service and Food Quality Took my 5-year-old to Pieology expecting a simple, quick meal and instead received burnt pizza, dismissive staff, and the worst customer service I've experienced at any restaurant. The Problems Started Immediately Ordered a basic cheese pizza for my child - something any pizza place should handle easily. What came out was completely burnt. When I brought it back to the counter, the staff looked at it and said nothing. No apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. I assumed they understood the issue and would handle it, so I returned to my table. Then It Got Worse Five minutes later, still no replacement or communication. When I came back to ask what was happening, the staff had the audacity to give ME attitude for "not telling them the problem." Apparently returning burnt food to the counter wasn't clear enough communication? The lack of basic problem-solving skills was stunning. The Final Insult After making my kids wait an additional 20 minutes for a replacement pizza (40+ minutes total for a cheese pizza), the employee with the large afro felt the need to sarcastically wish me a "good evening" as we left - a parting shot he didn't offer to other customers. Completely unprofessional and petty. What Should Have Happened Any competent staff would have: (1) apologized immediately upon seeing burnt food, (2) offered to remake it without being asked, (3) prioritized the remake to avoid making a child wait, and (4) possibly offered some form of compensation for the inconvenience. None of this happened. This location clearly has serious training issues. When you can't execute a plain cheese pizza and respond with hostility when called out, you shouldn't be in the restaurant business. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else. You can create your own pizza or order from the menu. My kids loved their pizza and enjoyed watching how they made it. Awesome place to bring kids. I love an all veggie pizza. I personally don't eat pork or beef so my meat options on pizza is usually limited to chicken and I feel that chicken can be dry so I just opt for all veggies. I love Pieology because I can get unlimited toppings of my choice so win win in my eyes. The quality here is consistent and I really just love the variety. Also try try try ricotta cheese on your pizza; it was a game change for me! I do find the service at this particular location to be consistently slow which can be annoying, especially when I'm on a time crunch or am super hungry. (I'm not going to let this influence my star rating - I'd knock the stars down to a 3 for this but I don't want to take away from the 4/5 pizza rating) Nonetheless the workers themselves are generally nice and accommodating... especially when I ask for extra pineapples lol. read more

This is probably one of the dirtiest restaurants I have walked into in a while. You could see mounds of dust on their equipment and the floors look like they are been cleaned with dirty mops. The doors and windows also have massive streaks like they just use a dirty rag to clean. They have beer taps, but beer is not available. The bottles and cans of drinks by the register were not even cold. The lemonade dispensers were empty. This place needs a lot of love and a deep clean! I like Pieology Pizzeria, but I can't give them a great review after my last visit. The store was clean, it's comfortable, and the staff was attentive, but one of my pizzas left a lot to be desired. I ordered two pizzas and one was fine, but the other was short on toppings. They sprinkled a sparse layer of toppings in the middle of the pizza but missed two slices. That's right two of the slices had almost nothing on them. There was some cheese and sauce covering the 1st 1/2 inch of them at the tip, then nothing.... The rest of the slices were like eating a dry old breadstick. Unfortunately, this kind of thing has happened to me before at this location. I've had pizza with only a light dusting of toppings in the middle, or they miss a section. It's like the person making them is blind in one eye and can only see one half of the pizza. Maybe they should buy a Lazy Suzan, to rotate them and do some quality control before baking? I was wavering between three and four stars. For lack of a 1/2 star, I'll give them four. It's basic build your own pizza, so you can't go wrong with it. It's like a subway/chipotle where you go down the line and just choose your toppings. They have a good selection of veggies, meats, and cheese option. There's something for everyone, even dairy free cheese! If you don't want to build your own pizza you can just choose one of the pizza options on the menu. The pizza size/topping portions is typically very generous and you can always ask nicely for them to add a few more pepperoni or whatever. You can easily share your pizza but I usually come with friends and we order our own and save the leftovers for our next meal later in the day. It's located in the delta shores shopping center, so go ahead and do your shopping or watch a movie then grab pizza! read more

The staff was unprofessional. They could definitely use some customer service training. They weren't rude or anything. Just overall unprofessional. The cashier couldn't answer any question I asked him regarding my order. My questions weren't even complex. The manager was on a personal phone call the whole time I was there. Just had a very pleasant experience here today with my younger cousin! Me and my cousin stopped in around 1:30 and as soon as we walked in the workers greeted us with a smile. They were extremely kind to me while my cousin and I decided what to order! While we ordered the worker Ethan (Very big shout out to you. I hope you read this and get a raise!) was so kind to me and my cousin as we talked and had a quick laugh. I really enjoyed when employees feel like they are just your closest friend.
