Pizza Guys is the place you go to get cheap pizza that is better than Costco. It's not going to get to Giovanni's, Pizzasaurus Rex, etc. level, but that's fine, because it's CHEAP! You can get a decent enough pie here for like $14. They always are running like 30 specials, and they have a variety of specialty pizzas that can feel a little more elevated than a 2 topping. This is a place you go to to feed the kids, or when you are having a party and don't want to serve some crap like Domino's. It's edible - even decent - but it's not the best pizza in the world. It serves a purpose. Order ahead, use the app, get points and get free pies if you go frequently enough. You also get a free 2 liter of soda if you spend a certain amount. I've had Pizza Guys around me for most of my life, and they're always predictable, and that's not a bad thing. You know you'll have a good enough pizza anytime you go, you aren't going to break the bank, and the kids will grub it. Can't complain about any of that. read more

The pizza itself was okay! But if you say it's going to take 20-25 minutes and it takes over an hour before it's ready, I'm going to have to think about ordering in the future. The store itself looked pretty standard. You order at a counter and return to pick it up. I sent my husband to get it 25 minutes later and he was told it would be another 15 minutes...and then 15 more minutes after that. I tried to phone the store itself only for the line to ring nonstop. I understand that busy spurts happen but be honest about the delay...we could have made a more informed decision about ordering and possibly even returned a different day. Was going to leave a one star review based on this fiasco but they threw in a pint of ice cream and a 2 liter and apologized for delay. Only for this reason would I even consider trying them out again. If everything had gone smoothly maybe a 4 star review max because the pizza is good but pretty basic. Craving a pizza so went with one of our usuals...Pizza Guys Greenhaven. Super easy to order online and pickup. We ordered the two medium any style for 32.98 and a green salad. For the pizzas, we ordered a combo and a create your own with the cupped pepperonis, mushrooms and olives. The estimated time for pick up was 22 minutes after I placed the order. I usually wait for the text alert but decided to head over and when I walked through the door the order was just put together for pickup. I came in on Friday the 19th, and there was only one worker available, Cynthia. People were giving her such a hard time and making unneccessary comments and taking pictures of her despite being slammed and giving everything she can. I give this location 2 stars because she was working very hard and was very kind during the process, however, the management should be ashamed of themselves for only having one person available on a weekend! My order has sat "READY" while I sit there 3 times and by the time 10-20 minutes pass by after being told "5 minutes" I always have a surprise of cold pizza. I would have really liked to feel obligated to give this place a good review. That would mean I found a pizza place near my house that is worthwhile. Such is not the case here. Horrible communication and lack of promises when it comes to delivery times. I ordered my pizza at 6:44pm and was promised a delivery time of 7:29 PM. I called at 7:45 and was told that a driver was on the way. Mind you I live less than a mile from this location. After three minutes, I opened the door and my pizza was left on the ground, no one rang, or knocked on my door, and my food is lukewarm. That means that my order was either delivered at the time, and I was not notified, or they took forever to deliver my food and now it's cold. I questioned them about the pizza being burnt and they immediately asked if I wanted a new one it would be about 10 minutes. So I waited for a new pizza. The pizza they gave me was so thin. Monday Pizza + wine+ bball game. Random night I wanted pizza with wine. I yelped some places. My Kings fan husband said the Pizza Guys! I asked him why? He said thru the Kings radio commercial. I immediately reviewed to get their free ice cream on yelp and we headed out. The store was wide, updated, clean, and organized with great customer service. We ended up getting TWO free ice cream ;)! I have been coming to this pizza guys for 15 years now so it saddens me to write this review. I picked up a pizza and cheesy bread order one night and found out a few days later that they charged me twice for the same order. After work, i went in to talk to the manager to hopefully get it resolved. After looking it up, the manager informed me that they already refunded me and it might take a couple days to show up on my side. He then said that if the refund doesnt show up then i should come back to resolve it. Why wouldnt it show up if youre telling me thats its been refunded to me? Well, i waited a week and my refund never came through. So i came back today and saw the same manager. After telling him i never got my refund, he says hes going to the back to call their bank and figure out whats wrong. Im now looking at a menu preparing to order some pizza to take home in case they would rather give me credit and not a cash refund. To my surprise, he comes back and tells me they only charged me once. For the second time, i pull up my bank statement on my phone showing him i had been charged twice for the same amount on the same day. He then tells me to call my bank and thats what i do. I call my bank right in front of him and go through the waiting process it takes when you call your bank. My bank agrees with me that i was charged twice. The banker finds out that this is my 2nd time here trying to resolve this and they are surprised. They are also surprised that the manager is telling me that they only charged me once. I am now irritated and annoyed because i feel like this manager is either calling me a liar or he went to the back and didnt even call their bank. Sy, you had my phone in your hand with my bank account open and it showed that you guys charged me twice. Anyways, my banker told me that they are going to fight for me and dispute the charge. However, its going to take 60 days for this process to happen. After i get off the phone, the manager then apologizes to me for being charged twice and that he would have given me a cash refund! If you could have resolved this, why didnt you?! Instead you let me get on the phone with my bank and be on hold and go thru that hassle over $33.69! He then suggests that i could call corporate to try and get this resolved! No thanks! Ive already called my bank and i dont like being on the phone and being on hold. I would have taken a pizza and some cheesy bread and would have been just fine! We have been coming here for 15 years, probably ordering once a month, and ordering more often for us and our friends during football season. The pizza isnt amazing but its good enough for us and its close to where we live. But this has left a sour taste in my mouth and we will be taking our business elsewhere from now. I've gotten burnt pizzas a couple of times. Deliveries have been late (one was 20 minutes late) sometimes. Whenever I order wings I always ask for blue cheese but am always given ranch. One pizza was cut horribly--two slices were about 10% cut, others about 50-85%. Pizzas that have pepperoni on them have so much pepperoni on them it almost covers the entire thing but whenever I get sausage and mushroom there's hardly any sausage and the way it's distributed is ridiculous (see pic; this AFTER I redistributed the sausage). The pizzas (and any other hot food) always come at about room temperature (even though they're only 0.2 miles away). I also can't believe that when you order online theres no option for extra cheese or sauce (only regular or light). Really?! Their new website is horribly designed and a total pain to use. I always ask for contact-free delivery and more than once they are at the door waiting for me to sign because I paid with a card (website says you can't use no-contact option only if paying cash). There's also no option to enter delivery instructions which sucks because my apartment is hard to find. Most companies have this available. The new website also has an order tracking feature (on site and text alerts) that had no status until it was out for delivery. read more
