I've been here twice now due to a coworker who loves their pizza! Now, they do service more than just pizza. They have salads and wings too. It is a relatively small restaurant but luckily every time we've coming during lunch it hasn't been too crazy. They have high top tables lining the windows, 4-top booth tables, and a few small 2-top tables outside. I also love how they sell merch! During my visit this time around we came for their Jimboy's collab. Who would've thought I'd actually want some lettuce on my pizza? Lol. This was a very interesting yet delicious pizza that I wouldn't mind getting again for a change in taste. I love carbs so that's the reason for my rating. If it had a little more dough it'd be an easy 5 stars. I'm just looking for the biggest bang with my buck! read more

It's been a few years since we ordered from PSB. It used to be one of our favorites. We loved both the pepperoni and Hawaiian. The pies would smell of stinky cheese - in the best way that great cheese smells. And you could taste the quality of the cheese and ingredients in every bite. Fast forward to today when we gave it another shot... and we were sorely disappointed. We had a half and half pizza and both sides were extremely salty (agreed on by 3 people). We took apart each ingredient to try and figure out the culprit but simply couldn't. The cheese didn't have the same smell or taste - it felt like biting into cold mozzarella. Mind you we live 5 mins away and we were waiting to pick it up before it was ready - so it didn't sit out long. Also, our chicken wings were terribly salty. I'm not sure what happened (did ownership change?) but we sure do miss the old PSB! read more

Pizza Supreme Being is an excellent spot for pizza in Sacramento. I love that you can purchase by the slice or as a whole pie. The slices are great and reasonably priced. A couple of slices will be great to fill you up. For a big eater - maybe three. Pizza Supreme Being has a nice unique variety of pizza types including one that has some sweet heat to it featuring hot honey. I believe the pizza is made with a sourdough crust which gives the pizzas a heartier taste. I would describe the pizza as a bit heavy and a little on the greasy side. If you like your pizza like that then this place will be perfect for you. I personally like my pizza a bit more of the fresher side, but I can't fault these slices at all. They are good quality and I can see many really loving them. The restaurant itself is nice and reminds me of an old school pizza joint. It's simple, but clean. read more

Legendary pizza spot in the 916. Colorful interior. Located just a block away from the Capitol, there's a walk up window, indoor dining and also outdoor seating. Pizza here is incredible. Super crispy pepperoni. New York style sliced. Big, greasy and full of cheese and sauce in every bite. My 15 year old was in absolute heaven when I took him after school. Their house made ranch is mandatory. This place also serves alcohol, Twisted Tea's being the home drink. Server was super friendly, food came out quick and the dining area was very clean. They had a TV on with the college basketball games. They also put on the Kings games on game night. read more

First time to PSB and I must say- it did not disappoint. The staff clearly enjoy their employment there and the quality and value of food was apparent. At first, $40+ for a pizza seemed steep but the pizza itself may be the largest pizza I've ever seen. Hot take- I think they may have the best ranch in town. We got the wings with spicy bbq for an app and when the server dropped them off he let us know they were 24-hour brined wings- a note that conveyed intention and pride. The cutest feature of the evening has to be the mini miller high life beers they offer for $1.75. Certainly made us chuckle. Will have to go back and try a shake soon! read more

Pizza Supreme Being is probably my favorite pizza spot in Sacramento, and it's not even close. From the moment you take a bite you can tell this is real, thoughtful pizza the dough and crust are legit, with that perfect chew and flavor that make you appreciate the craft behind it. My go-to order is the pepperoni, and when they've nailed the char on the crust there's really not much better. That combination of slightly blistered crust, quality pepperoni, and balanced sauce hits every time. The mushrooms pie fantastic as well earthy and robust the garlic cream sauce is a fantastic base. If you're into great pizza with personality, flavor, and an authentic crust that stands up to every topping, Pizza Supreme Being is hands down worth seeking out. Wowowowow! My only wish is that I had tried a square that I keep seeing hyped up. The slice I got was so good! The crust was chewy (in a good way) with a slight crunch. The combo of the pesto with the red sauce was heavenly. I'm glad it was circled of mozzarella rather than completely covered too, that would have been so rich. The slice was HUGE too! A whole meal. I got their seasonal ice cream which happened to be lucky charms! Was very satisfying on a warm spring night. Service was fast, you order grab a number and pick a spot. The two of us were excited to try their square pizza (we miss the square pie guys being in Sacramento). The pizza came with generous toppings and somewhat crispy cheese crust, but unexpectantly, no cheese on top! We also tried the lemon pepper wings which were a bit too tangy for our taste. Came here for a late lunch after a disappointing ski day in Tahoe. Looks like a real chill spot to pop a seat and have a slice. Got 2 slices, a square pepperoni and "the classic" which has coppa, olives, and pepperoncini. I really like the sourdough crust, it has a fantastic chew and a great bubbly crisp. Flavors and ingredient ratio are on point. The square pies are super thick and dense in a good way, with sauce on top of cheese. I'd have to say my favorite between the two is definitely the classic. The sourdough does really well in a thin pie. Cup of ranch on the side was a buck, but really good and I can tell it's made in house. Service was great, place is really clean and comfortable inside. Pizza Supreme Being is a small business located in midtown Sacramento's city suburb. They serve up some pretty darn tasting pizzas. The service is casual counter service. The pizza crust is naturally leavened sourdough. Two days of fermenting. Ohh it results in a crisp, chewy crust. It's darn delicious. They offer thin crust and Detroit style crust. They sell whole pizzas and by the slice. They us clean, quality ingredients that are locally sourced as much as possible. Slices cost $4.75-$7, those prices are nice on the wallet. My faves are the pepperoni slice and pepperoni squares. They also serve salads and soft serve (including Dole Whip which is dairy free). It's worth mentioning since the dough is made fresh, when they sell out for the day... that's it, they close for the day. Makes sense. Also the dining room is not particularly large. But they do have a ton of outdoor patio seating. read more

They still have their original space, bit that's more for employees and the kitchen. There's decent indoor seating. Costumer service is still the same and great. There's also outdoor seating still. The good is still good. The squares have gone up a bit pricing due to inflation, but that's expected. I need to go better more often. read more

My friends love this place! If you love sourdough, and you love pizza, this is the place for you! first off, the pizzas are huge, like costco-sized, dare I say. Upon entering, we were greeted by kind staff, orders and payment came first at the front, in which our group got the Heatwave and the Pepperoni Pie. Both pizzas were delicious! The Pepperoni really hits the spot for a classic pizza. The Heatwave brought in a unique touch with the jalapeñoes, bacon and drizzled hot honey. The crust is a thin crust, it is crispy, and a bit chewy, especially towards the end when you're almost done. I'd recommend to eat it up while its hot and fresh! However, I found the tables to be too small, and not suitable for a group of 5 people. I wish the tables could be a bit longer and wider so there would be more room to not only fit the pizzas, but so we can eat comfortably. read more

I was on a mission to find the best pizza by the slice on the grid. This was my second stop. Hailed online as one of the best slices in the city, I was severely disappointed. The location was good, and the interior was nice and spacious, but it felt soulless and almost sterile. That did not matter much, because all I cared about was the pizza. I ordered a cheese slice, and it came in as one of the cheapest slices of the day. The worker was friendly, and the slice came out quickly, but unfortunately, you get what you pay for. The sauce was nonexistent and flavorless. The cheese lacked any real mozzarella flavor, which is understandable since it uses a three-cheese blend. The dough was crispy, but it didn't have that great chew you want in a slice. It also tasted like sourdough-based dough, which to me does not work well with pizza, especially when the dough becomes the dominant flavor. What a great find in downtown - a cute little place that sells pizza, amongst other food items. We went up to Sacramento to walk through the park and luckily found a parking place right in front of Pizza Supreme Being. After our walk we decided to have lunch and try this place. Our group bought slices. One cheese, three pepperonis, three Hawaiians, and their specialty... a clam chowder slice. The service was friendly and fast. The cheese and Hawaiian slices looked good, I didn't try them, but others said they were very flavorful. The pepperoni slice was excellent, with crispy, mini pieces of pepperoni on a crispy thin crust. The clam chowder slice was covered with pieces of clam and potato. It tasted like a bowl of clam chowder and was served with a little packet of oyster crackers. Cute touch. The crust at this place is amazing. It has a very sourdough taste, something I haven't tasted at a pizza restaurant before. We've been back several times since and I know we will continue going. This has become one of our favorite places to go for a quick meal when up in Sacramento. read more

This is hands down the best pizza spot in Sacramento! I decided to go here on a Sunday. I called ahead of time so I didn't have to wait when I got there. I got a whole pie of heat wave which has hot coppa, fresh jalapeno, three cheese blend, tomato sauce and house made hot honey. When I took my first bite, it tasted so good! The cheese was perfect, the jalapeno and hot honey combo gave it a small kick. There wasn't too much dough either. It was just amazing! Bright blue tiles with Televisions showing the NFL, mere moments wait between ordering and tucking in, Pizza Supreme Being's slices fold well with a brisk crackle but pleasant pliability while Housemade are soft at the center of a gently crisp rim. Already sold out of Pepperoni slices at 2:00pm, and not particularly interested in Roberts's much-discussed Hawaiian featuring Spam, "Squares" unfortunately eat less like a Sicilian and more like Focaccia topped with Sauce plus a ton of Pep that offers good value but a complete lack of finesse. read more

I love Pizza Supreme Being, I love their quirky social media, I love their amazing space, and I love their menu that includes the huge pizzas by the slice or by the whole pie and their squares, along with the changing sandwich and soft serve menu. I've learned to keep my eye on their social media for specials. On my latest visit I got the Big Boy Hoagie ($18) and it was incredible. They really do a great job with the sandwiches. I also picked up a pepperoni square ($7) for my husband and they're so flavorful and filling. One square will definitely satisfy your hunger- two squares will have you taking a nap. They have indoor and outdoor seating and the website makes it easy to place to-go orders or to order ahead. I highly recommend the soft serve as dessert, or just stopping in for a cool treat. Just south of the Capitol sits an amazing, unpretentious pizza joint. They sell pizza by the slice as well as whole pies. The square of pepperoni pizza was very Detroit style. The generous serving of pepperoni packed a ton of flavor. I returned to try a cheese square and a thin slice of veggie pizza. The crust on the veggie pizza was incredible. One of the best veggie pizzas I ever tried. The cheese square was ok, not worth a repeat experience. Service and restaurant ambience are pretty basic but practical. I got here a little after 1pm on a Tuesday...not too busy. A cute diner feel and they were playing old motown classics. You order at the counter and they give you a number then bring out to you. The wait was not long at all, but they did forget my side of ranch that I asked for so had to ask for that again. The cheese square to my surprise came covered in marinara sauce - kind of like they switch the order on how they layer their pizza - they do foccacia crust, cheese, then sauce. It was a little messy, but it was okay. The hawaiian slice came with spam, pineapple, and jalapenos. It was very unique - thin crust which is not my favorite and the crust was also tough and dry on the last bites. Not my favorite place, but nice to have this as an option in the area. I've heard a lot of good things about PSB and how it was the best pizza by the slice spot in Sacramento but unfortunately I didn't really think so. It's a nice really small place to catch a quick bite when you don't want a huge pizza. One thing I do give this spot is the friendly staff which is always something cool to have because there is other spots in the area that have pbts and have some really rude employees. Unfortunately the pizza though didn't do it for me . Don't get me wrong the pizza isn't the worst or bad it's just average to me.
