Ladies, bring a sweater as the A/C works really well inside and my wife immediately started shivering, but I always keep a sweater in the car for her, so she was happy. Our server, isiah, was fantastic. Super friendly, very responsive, and very nice. He is a huge asset to the restaurant, in our opinion. My food was good- I had the Ahi Tuna bowl, which was plenty of food, and the tuna was cooked as I like it- rare. I would ask for less ginger next time as there was a lot in the bowl and I took most of it out. Still, an excellent dish that is more filling than it looks. My wife doesn't like seafood, so she ordered the chicken marsala, which, in both our opinions, either needs to be removed from the menu or reworked completely. The marsala sauce had absolutely no taste- at all. My wife made the remark that she felt like this dish would be served in a old folks home. My wife asked for pasta with it instead of vegetables, and she should have stuck with the veggies, because the linguine was WAY overcooked, and again, no salt or anything- it did taste like the noodles you get in canned soup. Again, I think this dish should be reevaluated, but it won't stop us from coming back because there is so much potential here and I saw quite a few dishes I want to try and the desserts look good, too. The staff is great and the menu looks really good, so we're going to keep coming back in the hopes that my wife finds a dish she likes, because I know I will be happy with my food. By the way, I am not as picky as my wife, and I tasted her food and she was absolutely right about it.

We got the Brussel sprouts (I really enjoyed this but it got a little too salty as I kept eating it) and the caramelized sweet potatoes (much too sweet for our taste but still tasty). It also comes with a grilled onion and homemade sauce that was a nice complement. The red snapper was good but the chilesan sea bass on risotto outshine it. Both the bass itself (so tender) and the risotto (delicious use of lobster and creaminess) shined through. They surprised us with a complimentary chocolate cake for the birthday girl. It was a little dry but not bad. We also got a key lime tart to share and it comes with a towering meringue. Again, a little too sweet for our liking but flavor was good. Lastly, I got the honey keeper mocktail which was the best drink of the bunch. My companions got the cucumber and strawberry basil lemonade cooler but both were too sweet. At night the lights come on. I'm glad we chose the outside dining, inside was a bit dark and there was someone playing music which could be loud for some. Our server was fantastic, truly someone with the gift for service, and the rest of the staff who served also good. The manager came by to say hi and check in, which is a hallmark of a great restaurant. It's a pricey place, but worth every penny. We had the sea bass, red snapper, & crab cakes and a side of mushrooms. Everything was YUM! Even the mushrooms evoked a yummmm with every bite. The only item that wasn't very good was the bread, not much flavor & a bit dry, but I didn't want to fill up on that anyway. No food pics because it was too good to wait! After a few minutes, when our server checked in, we let him know, a manager came over soon after, and he said he would have it redone. It took longer than expected, and the other two of us were done eating before it arrived. In fact, I was panicked that the steak would again be overdone as some time had passed, and I said that to the server. But the steak was perfectly done when it arrived. To make up for the lateness, the manager offered us a dessert. We had the key lime and it was amazing. Surprisingly but appreciatively we were comped the steak. They made it right and that is important. Service was good. I did run out of water a few times. My only real complaint there was the server should have asked us to cut into the steak right away. There is valley parking and across the street. The servers make check ups, they take food allergies seriously and make sure to make the food safe.
