I rarely leave reviews, but after the experience my family and I had during my cousin's bridal shower at Pier 22, I feel compelled to share this. We traveled from Fort Lauderdale to celebrate what was supposed to be a joyful and memorable occasion. Unfortunately, the service we received significantly impacted the event. Our server, Alicia, was rude, dismissive, inattentive, and had a noticeably different tone with certain guests in our party. While she was attentive and pleasant toward other tables and even specific individuals within our group, several members of our party experienced curt responses, poor communication, and an overall lack of professionalism. At one point, appetizers ordered by some guests came out properly while others experienced delays and confusion with little effort made to correct it professionally. To be clear, Matthew was excellent and extremely helpful. Taylor also attempted to assist when concerns were brought forward during the event, and I appreciate his professionalism. However, the handling of the situation afterward by management was disappointing. GM Nicole Johnson and event manager Hannah ultimately dismissed our concerns and attempted to place blame on our party by stating that management was "not made aware" during the event, despite the fact that Taylor was spoken to directly. They also referenced our party not meeting the food and beverage minimum and guests arriving at different times as justification for why compensation would not be provided. Their exact response included statements that: * the group did not meet the required food and beverage minimum, * guest arrival times created "challenges in pacing and service flow," * and because all food and beverages were consumed, they did not feel compensation was appropriate. None of those things excuse poor customer service or disrespectful treatment during a bridal shower. What was most disappointing was the lack of accountability from upper management after acknowledging that Alicia's behavior was unacceptable enough to warrant a formal write-up and disciplinary action. As a Black family celebrating a special occasion, some members of our party left feeling uncomfortable and treated differently, and that is not something that should ever happen during an event meant to celebrate love and family. I would strongly encourage anyone planning an important event here to carefully consider whether this establishment aligns with the level of hospitality, professionalism, and respect they expect for their guests. read more

I had the Fish & Chips which were that fully cod, tempura batter that is light and not greasy. The Shrimp and Fish Tacos were also good. Jerk wings were good, just not spicy enough for me. One of our favorite places to dine on seafood with beautiful water views. So on Friday evening we made a reservation for Pier 22 because I wanted soft shelled crab and my wife wanted her seafood cobb salad. We were sat immediately and we decided to dine inside because of a brewing storm. My soft shelled crab sandwich with homemade chips looked delicious and the portion was a nice size. It was also piping hot. My nephew had a cheeseburger which looked delicious and that was also a nice size. But my wife's seafood cobb salad wasn't like it use to be. This is her favorite dish and the only thing she orders. We've been here about 10 times and it's the only thing she's ever wanted because the first time it hooked her. But this visit she noticed that there was a considerable difference. This order she noticed that less seafood on it but the cost of the salad increased significantly. The manager "Peyton" came over and I showed her the difference from pictures I took on previous visits for my post. She apologized and returned back shortly with extra crab meat. Our service was as expected because we usually experience below par service, but we come here mostly because of the food and atmosphere. read more

I had a really disappointing experience with our server, Kerry M. She somehow had time to check on every table around us but treated our table like we were invisible. When we did get service, it wasn't great, and she brought me the wrong food twice and mixed things up multiple times. Any time we asked for something simple like drink refills or more bread, we were met with attitude like we were asking for a personal favor instead of basic service. Our sides were also never rang in, which honestly felt on brand at that point. Drinks were barely refilled (maybe twice total), and we were even given the wrong check. The only time she seemed friendly was when it was time to tip, which felt a little too convenient. Overall, it felt disorganized, inattentive, and weirdly passive-aggressive. We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner at Pier 22 for our son's wedding with approximately 75 people in attendance. Everything, from our initial discussions concerning the menu to the final discussions regarding the bill, was handled with the utmost professionalism. Hannah, the catering manager, made herself available to us whenever we needed, which greatly helped take a load off our minds when it came to choosing menu options and layout of the room. The entire staff of servers who were working on the night of the event were so customer-focused and made extra effort to ensure all our guests' needs were met. The food - from simple appetizers to the buffet dinner, was absolutely delicious. We are still receiving comments from family and friends about how this was the most beautiful rehearsal dinner they have ever attended. A nice restaurant in a beautiful setting with a good menu however, our server Kirby really distracted from what could have otherwise been a great experience. Even though it was later in the night and she only had maybe one other table, she was completely absent seemingly more interested in cleaning the restaurant than attending to us. I had to get up several times for drinks, condiments, and other things we needed after our food was dropped off by someone from the kitchen and she never came over once to even ask how we were doing. The view, the food, the service... wow! Such a nice experience on our first visit to Sunday brunch. We arrived upon them opening so we got dibs for our seats right near the water. Chilly morning so the sun felt wonderful. There was also a large table with a firepit center, ill have to remember that one next time we have friends visit! We went there for dinner. The view was great, the food was ok. It was a little chill so I had a bowl of NE clam chowder and the jambalaya. My companies had house salad, spinach salad, fresh catch black grouper, fresh catch shrimp, and jail island salmon. The chowder was slightly salty and the jambalaya was salty though with plenty seafood. You've to have a magnifying glasses to find the black grouper. The shrimp was over grilled and tough. We got to Pier 22 early, around 4:30pm. We were able to get a table on the patio right next to the water. The service is great! From the hostess, to the server, to the busboys and other staff. Food is very good! Their happy hour specials offer good choices: Monte Cristo sliders, poutine, calamari, grouper/artichoke dip, chicken tenders, mussels... All at very reasonable prices. Dinner prices are very reasonable AND they offer Sushi! The sunset here was amazing. We also strolled along and "window shopped" for yachts lol I highly recommend Pier 22! read more
