She had the biggest fake finger nails on and due to the store policy, she had to peel off all the plastics off of my watch (to prevent reselling she said). She probably left several micro scratches on the watch while doing that because of her fake nails. And what I wrote above so far wasn't even the worst of my experience. Apparently, I was supposed to bring the original credit card I gave them 6 months ago when I pre-ordered the watch(?). I was not told this at all. All they told me was that a credit card was required for them to process the preorder. During the 6 months, I had to cancel and have the card reissued due to a fraudulent transaction (unrelated to this purchase). The lady asked me for the credit card which I no longer had. Then she proceeded to indirectly accuse me of doing something illegal thru her body language and facial expression. That's how I felt anyway even though she did not directly say anything like that. I had to talk to someone in the back (I assume it was a manager) to sort this out (all she had to do was to check my ID and run the transaction onto my new credit card). This was about 4 years ago. I totally forgot about this horrific experience until today (I saw a wrist watch on TV and it randomly reminded me). Avoid this place. They also dangle Rolex watches in their display when they don't even have any for sale to public. Also who are they to tell me what I can what I cannot do with my watch? I am not even a reseller and I thought it was very out of line for them to require to peel off the plastic protectors. And if this is a requirement, the workers here shouldn't be allowed to have long fake nails either. They are lucky I am not picky about little scratches. Places like this totally got me lose interest in watches. I guess I should thank them for saving me thousands last 4years. Btw, I took the watch and got the bracelet resized at their Bellevue location. And they totally butchered one of the links while removing it. Even this, I will add that they are lucky, I don't care too much about things like this. The only good thing from all this was that the watch is beautiful and I still wear it frequently. It was a gift for myself for turning 40, which this store almost ruined.

Have been waiting a while but the staff has been nothing but professional and friendly unlike other locations I've been to. Will, Nina, and Antonio have been amazing. Hope to get my watch soon.

We went to Jared to choose my future daughter in-law's engagement ring (she wanted to choose one…read moreherself) yesterday. She had a very clear criteria: - platinum - lab-created diamonds - a leaf-like motif The Hungarian lady there sat us all down for 55 minutes, telling us that white gold is the way to go, showed us diamond or two, kept telling us that platinum is hard to get and it'll take 6 weeks or longer to get a custom ring. After 45 minutes and 3 or 4 inquiries of the prices of what they're recommending, she kept giving us all sorts of reasons why she couldn't give us a price because "it's not so simple". Then I asked whether the diamonds she's been showing us are lab-created, the lady said "oh, I didn't know you didn't want a real diamond!" in a very condescending way. Then she asked for my son's contact information including his address and phone number. I intervened and told her that's unnecessary since we're not getting any information from them. She then asked for my son's address and phone number, which I immediately shut down since they weren't giving us any information. When we said we wanted to visit a few other jewelers before making a decision, she suddenly produced a nearly identical platinum setting and claimed she could get it made in under six weeks after all. She also insisted that "they don't make lab‑created diamonds that small - they're SO CHEAP it's not worth it," which is simply untrue. On top of that, they kept pushing us to open a store account and take out an 18‑month payment plan to get a $500 discount. Why would anyone take out a loan instead of paying in full just to get a discount? It felt shady. To make everything even more uncomfortable, the store was boiling hot. We were sweating, there were zero other customers on a Saturday afternoon, and the employees were just chatting among themselves. The whole place felt like a time capsule from a 1980s used‑car lot -- high pressure, low transparency, and a complete waste of time. We left and went to Shane Co. around the corner. What a difference. The associate there was fantastic. She took us to a dedicated platinum section with dozens of options, showed us a wide selection of lab‑created diamonds in every shape and size, and - wait this - everything had a price tag. No games, no pressure, no mystery pricing. Sigh, I wish we went to Shane Co. first! Needless to say, my son bought a ring his fiancée picked out, paid for it, and walked out happy and content. Looking back, I wish we had gone to Shane Co. first. The contrast was night and day. Jared felt like a sales trap; Shane Co. felt like actual customer service.

Jared's at Southcenter is the BEST. They do their own custom work In House, along with working on my previous pieces. I've also shopped their online site, buying pieces then customizing them with my existing loose stones. They have never let me down. Great prices & service. They're the only ones I can recommend without reservations.

Okay, wow, so surprised to see such a low rating for this location!…read more My fiance and I got my engagement ring here. I had looked pretty much all over the place and just glancing in here, I found the one I wanted. I was dead set on it. No matter how many times my fiance was like, "You're positive? You sure? Don't want to look anymore?" I couldn't be swayed. From day one, we had excellent customer service. I feel TERRIBLE for not remembering her name, but the black woman that is probably in her 40s/50s, was the one that helped us the whole time and the one we ended up buying from as well. She was SO personable and so patient with us. We came in probably three separate times to see the ring, try it on, and also my fiance looked at a bunch of their rings, too, and she was so cool with us coming to try things on and look around each time before we finally pulled the trigger. When we first bought the ring I wanted to wear it for a few days despite it being a tad too big. They were nice enough to put a guard on to temporarily size it for me. When I was ready to bring it in and send it off to get sized, they told me the date it would be back in. To the day, that's when it got back in and I was able to pick it up. Customer service is stellar, selection is awesome, and prices are fair. Highly recommend!

We were not greeted with polite associated ready to help but instead given side eyes and off putting looks. When someone did get around to assisting, they were very rude in demeanor. They were not willing to work with my idea on what I wanted to do with my already purchased Helzberg Diamonds ring, nor did they offer any suggestions. Instead they insisted what I wanted to do was going to be "too expensive" over and over again, with no regard to my financial status. When I referenced my own ring, and wanting a material similar, the man said my ring was sterling silver in a very judgmental tone. I then assured him it wasn't and he took it under the light and corrected himself by saying "you are right, it's white gold, I just can't tell what karat because it's been worn off". I reminded him that my ring was from Helzberg and should be in their system. He then rolled his eyes and said he'd be able to look it up but by then I was already fed up with the hostile environment and impolite associates to continue doing my business at this location. It's truly unfortunate.
