I got my cartlidge pierced !!somewhere else!! in September and have been have dealing with an off and on infection. No matter what I did, it wouldn't get better. I didn't want to go back to the place I got pierced at so I figured I ask here since it's where I buy my body jewelry. I walk in and gave the worker there a full description of what was going on. They inspected my ear and walked me over to the titanium hoops. I did not know what the material was in my original piercing but they explained why this will be a better material and should help. They gave me a lot of information about why the chose the material and the size of the hoop which I appreciated and trusted. They told me to continue the cleaning methodsI have been doing in the area and it should start feeling better soon. I came home, washed the hoop with soap at water as directed, and it already felt better within 15 minutes. Since then, there has been no irritation-- none of the redness, itchiness, throbbing, sensitivity, or heat that I was feeling before. I didn't catch their name but my receipt says Phoenix so I hope I'm giving recognition to who helped me. Either way, the service was great! I have never gotten pierced here but everytime I go in here for questions or to buy more jewelry, the workers are very helpful and knowledgeable. read more

A couple months ago I decided to get my belly button pierced. Every piercing I have gotten has been from this location for the past 5 years. I paid nearly 80 dollars including jewelry. The piercing came out crooked but he didn't let me know anything looked off. Weeks went by with the piercing getting consistently irritated because it was sticking out and getting snagged on EVERYTHING. I decided I couldn't handle it anymore and I wanted to take it out myself. The piercing was screwed on so sight it took me nearly an hour and a half to be able to loosen the screw. I don't appreciate that I cannot remove something from my body when I want to if it's causing me pain. Fast forward a couple months and I wanted to get a second nose piercing on the opposite side. I scheduled my appointment and the same piercer was working. He marked the location on my nose with a felt tip black marker, which was pretty big so it looked level with my other piercing. A couple days later I realized that the new piercing was a bit higher than I would have liked but what could I do then. Two weeks after, the piercing started to reject and a keloid had started to form on my nose. I continued cleaning but it would not go down. At this point I am annoyed with the situation, in the span of 3 months I've spent nearly $160 on two piercings at the same location that did not turn out how I wanted. I called and asked if someone could take out the piercing because I was over it at that point. They said the piercing would be in from 5-close. I came in and the piercer took one look at it and said "Oh you got a big ol keloid dont cha." Not what someone wants to hear when they are already embarrassed on having to walk around like that for weeks. He removed it fast but so rough. So rough infact that the piercing turned immediately dark purple 5 mins after. The next morning I woke up to a black keloid that stayed there for another 2 weeks. read more

I've gotten a few piercings done by the same place, pierced hearts studio, and they've set the golden standard for me on what a piercing studio should do. While this place was clean, it wasn't the best experience. Everyone had an attitude of get everyone in and out quickly, while it's the holidays I understand frustration, but when getting holes put into my body I'd want more care to be put in. I got two helix piercings done by Ray. When I got in he just marked quickly the general area, not really caring about symmetry, he did ask if I was okay with it, but immediately after I was told to lie down and without any warning he just pierced my ears. Because of the lack of warning and how rushed it was it hurt a lot more than any of my other piercings had. He had quickly said something about it healing in a year and about giving it a few weeks for something then handed me a paper and sent me out. He had illegibly scribbled on the paper and I literally cannot read it. If I needed any info on my piercing I would have no idea what it was saying. I gave two points because while the guy did seem to know what he was doing, I felt uncomfortable and rushed the entire time. The door was kept open for everyone to see, I felt like I had to be in and out quickly, the terrible information and writing if I had to refer to it later, and the whole process and it hurting more than needed. I felt bad for anyone going in for piercings from this place. If you're going to get pierced don't do what I did and go to a place you trust and that takes care of their customers more. Spent over $100 bucks on just jewelry The tongue piercing broke in just 3days of use. The nose ring was horrible quality not sure what type of metal it's made out off but it leave me with a soreness and hurts so much to even remove. Obviously everywhere it's says no returns after purchase at least give us a percentage off or some money back for the bad quality of these products. The lip ring I got was a very large and was told that it was specifically for the lip. The hoop was way to large, I had a worker assist me and you would thing they would know what piercings are for those specific body parts. I wouldn't shop here again. Fist time i came in i asked for a bridge, service was ok but the piercing was very slanted. so i asked if they could redo it a couple weeks later because i hadnt noticed the day of and they tried to tell me i was wrong. Me and my underage sister came with are mother to get our nose piercing changed from stud to hoops after filling out the paperwork & paying the $5 change fee each and purchasing each of us two sets of jewelry spending about $60. The piercer name Ryan attempted to change my jewelry first and removed the stud extremely fast and then put the hoop in I sat up and looked in the mirror and was in absolute shock that he had put in my C note open ended hoop in backward I then told him that this was incorrect. He began to argue with me saying that the front desk and him had told us that it was going to be put in this way and that is how he did his piercings and he refused to change the piercing to the front because it was the incorrect way of wearing the jewelry. I was outraged that I wasted my money at this place once again to be treated like I didn't know how a standard nose ring was supposed to go in even in Googling how people wear proper nose Hoops not once did I see some crazy ass s*** have a backward nose hoop. I do not think that Ryan is professionally nor does he have patience to deal with a minor and their family he has no skill no understanding and is way to rough and heavy-handed to be trying to change out jewelry on too first time customers. This place is the worst, even for cheap jewelry! Almost everytime I've bought something from this shop, whether it be for septum, plugs, lip studs and rings, they almost always recommend and sell you the wrong size! I've wasted so much money here just trying to buy a quick solution to my piercing problems. Definitely my last dollar spent here. They won't size you for any jewelry due to sanitary purposes, even though I've been to plenty of reputable shops that will size you for the exact purpose of avoiding wasting money. They size you based off of their best judgement simply by looking. With their no return policy and poor recommendation combo, you're guaranteed to waste your money. Neoplastic labrae stud they suggested and sold me was rough at the end and bent so I couldn't even comfortably fit it into my lip without hurting it. Even their internally threaded metal studs had backing that were so rough they cut into my lip causing a ton of pain. Acrylic plugs recently purchased from them run large so they don't even fit in for the size they're supposed to be unless you're willing to force them in. Body jewelry should not run large or small ever!! One of their piercers is incredibly condescending and will immediately discredit any info you have. Spoke to me like I had no clue what I was doing, even though it definitely wasn't my first, or second rodeo! Again, sent home with the wrong size jewelry for my septum. Feels like their goal is to get you to come back for the right size again, only to find that won't fit either. Don't bother shopping here if you don't want to waste a ton of money on jewelry that won't fit. Seems like their supplier is just the defective jewelry that didn't make the cut. Not sure what the material my plugs are made out of, but after proper sterilization these "acrylic" which, by the way, I have had no reaction to ever, and shouldn't cause such a severe reaction anyways, started to make my ears very very uncomfortable. This was Monday. I put them in Monday night. Right now my ear lobes are crusted, very pussy, and so inflamed I'm forced to take them out and let my two year healed lobes shrink down. The front staff are extremely nice and always helpful. they have so many different options for body jewelry, that's why i like coming here. they're always very patient when i'm taking a little long deciding what i want because i can be indecisive but nonetheless their customer service in the front is always spot on. the piercers however i am iffy about. there's a guy that's almost always piercing but i don't know his name. he initially seemed really nice and he has pierced me multiple times as well as changed my jewelry for when it was too difficult for me. just happened to be one visit he was kind of rude. i was asking him something while my friend was getting pierced and he interrupted what i was saying. like wtf ok lmao. but after that it just made me never want to go back. there's also a female piercer that comes in sometimes and she was okay. she did my nose piercing after i took an old one out and wanted to get it placed differently. ii think she's just straight forward so she might come off as mean but i didn't have a problem with her. from now, im probably just going to buy body jewelry there only and not to go get pierced. the three stars is for the rude guy but i would give 5 for the service by the front staff. read more

I went to ask about a cover up for a tattoo on my upper left shoulder. I was told to make an appointment for a consultation. So I did. I met with the artist (Greg) and we went over the picture I wanted. I made the appointment to get the tattoo done 5 days from the consultation with a $50 deposit.He was going to send me some sketches before and he only sent me one. And it was not what we discussed. I told him what I wanted and he said he would do it. The day of my tattoo appointment Greg texts me that he has car problems and can't do the tattoo for me. So I reschedule for the following day because of my work schedule. I show up to my appointment and Greg is not there. He went home from having a hernia. I was never informed and that is 2x that he cancels on me. Sara was available to do the tattoo and she agrees. She wanted to change my picture because the color would be hard to cover up the black. So I agree to rearrange the colors. It took 3 hours and she said the color was not going into my skin well. I was in a lot of pain and we said we would wait for it to heal. She said that I might need one more session for a touch up. I paid $300 for the tattoo and I am very unhappy that it wasn't close to what I wanted. If she couldn't do the cover up then just say you can't do it so I could have gone somewhere else. I was very mad that I had been canceled on twice and then the tattoo wasn't done like my picture. She only did the rose and some color, not even the details. Just go somewhere else. I don't recommend getting a cover up or a large tattoo done there. read more

This place is awful. I hate the staff. They are extremely rude and judgmental. I had recently gotten a cartilage piercing and the earrings I was buying were not staying in my ear I also need hypoallergenic/nickel free earrings. I tried to explain my plight to one of the sales associates and I had a price limit. She was extremely rude when answering all of my questions. Another associate stepped in and treated me the same way. Mostly like I was an idiot for all of my questions. I then tried to ask about the piercings and tattoos and I was given the same rude attitude as before. After, I got checked out and stopped to look at a shirt before I left, I heard her greet another woman who had many piercings and tattoos with enthusiasm and begin to help her in a friendly and polite way. It is good to know that they judge people by how many tattoos and piercings they have in this store. I tell everyone I know to never come here because the service was so awful. read more

I came to get a tattoo done by Jasmine. I told her what I wanted, some initials that spelled out hyyh across my knuckles. That's what we agreed on and that's she printed out. When I got home I realized she tattooed hyhy. Not what I wanted. Now I have to get it laser removed so that it can be fixed. I will take some responsibility and say that I wasn't really paying attention while she was tattooing me, but she refuses to take responsibility on her end and claims it's not her fault when I told her before exactly what i wanted and she refuses to give me any kind of refund. I was even willing to come back to her to let her fix it once it's removed but now that's out the window. I will not be coming back here and she will never be tattooing me again. read more

My Girlfriend and I have stopped into this store a couple times now. She needed a pair of new plugs and I wanted to check out the selection that they had since I'm new to the stretching scene. Right now, I'm back to a 6g. I went in yesterday to get some new jewelry to stretch with. I got my ears pierced at a 6g so I was just going up to the 4g club. I don't even think the girl who was helping us had any type of name tag but she was pretty helpful; misleading and quite possibly misinformed, but helpful. I started out by asking what I should stretch with and what would be safe to use/best methods, etc (again, I'm new to the stretching scene and haven't done much research on what not to use and what to use prior to coming in). So $20 later, I end up leaving the store with a pair of 4g SILICONE Spirals (many of you will probably face palm right there). She explained what materials I shouldn't use in terms of stretching due to the porous nature of some items but silicone was never mentioned and she even said that the silicone (even the spirals) would be ok to stretch with. I get home, lube em up and pop 'em in. No pain, no trouble, no nothing. The only thing I think I noticed was that they didn't seem like they were properly trimmed on the inside and outside edges from where the molds meet so I just shaved it off with my nail. There's a little tenderness in my ear but it's not enough where I notice it unless I touch my ear or remember that I just stretched my ears. Being the hip, young, cool cat that I am, I take to Instagram to show off my new bling off to my homies in all the area codes. About 12 hours later someone posted on my picture not to use silicone to stretch. Being a curious George (without the monkey part) I took to the all mighty Google to see what this person was on about. After about an hour of reading many, many, many, many, many, different blogs/forums/websites, I have come to find that stretching with silicone (let alone Spirals) is a HORRIBLE idea. I only saw one person have a good experience with it otherwise it was all shit. So I took them out a little bit ago and put my 6g glass babies back in til I get paid. I understand the whole no return policy with them but at the same time, I definitely just wasted $20 (and that was the cheapest pair they had) on jewelry I will probably never use again (I'm going to be stretching to bigger sizes). Plus the fact that A LOT of their jewelry is VERY expensive is kind of a deterrent from me wanting to come back here. I've been to plenty of other places that seem way more knowledgeable about what they sell. Me just being excited to get my stretch on didn't really think about researching it first.
