    Mushroom soup
    Jessica G.

I have been dying to try this place ever since I went to Pittsburgh and tried perogies for the first time. Well worth the wait. The soups were so flavorful. The pickle soup was my favorite although the Mushroom was more filling. We also had the stuffed cabbage and fried cabbage as a side order. Then we had the 14 perogie sampler and you get to choose your own flavors. My favorite was the meat and sauerkraut perogie and the duck with plum sauce was delicious as well. Small restaurant inside that has about 5 to 7 tables. They play polish music and the people are just so nice and wholesome.

Pierogi Village is a small Polish Restaurant located in Summerlin. It's adorable looking inside with lots of different Polish Things inside like Polish Pottery and Polish Dolls, Polish on TV. The woman who took our order seemed very nice and pleasant. My review is mainly based on the Potato & Cheddar Pierogi. The most positive thing that I can say about them is that they are delicately made with a thin pasta and none of them leaked filling. On the other hand the caramelized onions were very greasy and tasted more like a mix of lunch meats than onions. The filling (potato & cheddar) also lacked a cheddar taste to the potato and was over powered by that grease taste. I noticed that at least TWO of my 6 pierogi had mixed meats in them. I don't know what happened there but suspect that unclean bowls might have been used when they made the potato and cheddar filling and a little bit of everything was in them. Also they don't come with sour cream here. I would not recommend getting the Potato & Cheddar Pierogi. *******UPDATE********* I have since spoken to someone from Pierogi Village. They add bacon to the Potato and Cheddar Pierogi without any mention on their menu or verbally when you order. That is disrespectful to vegetarians and to people who don't eat pork. Margaret did say because of my complaint they will make changes to their menu and I also must mention that their bowl used to mix the potato and cheddar filling was not dirty as I thought it must have been.

Who knew that Las Vegas would be home to such an authentic polish restaurant with such amazing dishes! After hearing about this restaurant from multiple friends, I finally had the opportunity to pay a visit. I was very impressed, everything we tried was authentic and expertly prepared. We especially loved our pierogi sampler. Can't wait for our next visit!

Came back because we love the authenticity! This time we had the Homemade Mushroom Soup, which was delicious and you can tell it's made from scratch! The Meat Perogi was super delicious. And I loved the fresh homemade bread on the Polish Sausage Sandwich. Friendly service and authentic Polish vibes. I highly recommend.

I haven't been back to Pierogi Village ( @pierogivillage ) since setting the record for the restaurant with a huge party during my early years in Vegas. Once again I was completely blown away. Now I'm mostly Polish. I can't speak it, but this restaurant always reminds of my grandmother and growing up in and around Chicago. We don't have many spots like this in town, and not only do their pierogis absolutely kill it, every other traditional Polish dish in there is perfect. Just like the flawless service. Talking to the family there who runs it, we laughed about the fact that when you stop and think about it, every culture has a variation of a dumpling. Not sure who started it though P.S. Yes! I always take a stack of them home for tomorrow! IG: @pierogivillage

As one of the city's highest rated businesses, Pierogi Village is perennially featured in the Yelp Top 100 and it's not hard to see why. The service is outstanding, the food is comforting and authentic, and the interior vibe makes this one of the more unique establishments in Las Vegas. Initially a pop up, they found a brick and mortar home at this strip mall, becoming a local favorite ever since. The decor is a mix of old school eastern Euro decor with a nod to Poland in the form of dolls, flags, photos, and memorabilia. There is a good amount of seating and bathrooms that are in the narrow hallway next to the kitchen. Parking is easy since it's in a strip mall but I do wish their hours were a bit more flexible for later dining. Polish cuisine is a treat for me, since far more prominent in the Midwest and Northeast than anywhere else. Their claim to fame, pierogi, is wonderfully made. They offer nine styles, including meat, sauerkraut and mushroom, potato and cheese, spinach and feta, jalapeño and cheese, and even the chef's special of duck plum sauce, which is their house specialty. Novices to the cuisine should consider their sample plates, which come anywhere from 6-14 mixed pieces. I like this option more, since variety is the spice of life. The Big Polish Plate consists of choice of pierogi, kielbasa, stuffed cabbage (golabki) and is my favorite item to order. Their bigos (hunter's stew) is legit, along with the fried cabbage and schnitzel. The other soups include pickle soup, borscht, and beef tripe. The folks working here are kind, professional, and very welcoming. I have ordered takeout a couple of times, but I fully intend on bringing in a large group to feast together at some point. While it's hardly the cheapest Polish fare I've had in the US, I'm extremely grateful for their hospitality and presence in the neighborhood. I've frequently praised the local Vegas dining scene for the variety from top to bottom and places like Pierogi Village are a good reminder that this city has an embarrassment of culinary riches and so much to offer from a food front (#1) __________ (#1) H-Town, please take notes.

The food here taste like moms cooking. You gotta love it. The service here was very friendly and quick. The decor makes you feel like you are somewhere else. Very reminiscent of European dining which is the point.

Excellent service, EVEN BETTER FOOD! This is truly the best Polish food Vegas has to offer! Atmosphere is inviting and warm. It feels like you just walked into your Polish babcia's house for Sunday dinner! Everything made to order, and perfectly fresh.

If I could give this place 6 starts I would. I grew up on most of this food and was excited to give it a try. It did not disappoint in the least! Small store front with a nice little seating area in the inside. I imagine finding a spot during peak times might be a bit of a challenge. They also do take out. Seemed they had a quite a few regulars during the time by the interactions. You order at the counter and the menu has plenty to go from. Player 2 isn't familiar with the food so we got the polish plate sampler, mushroom soup, and special of potato pancakes. Everything was soo delicious, the main worker commented how fast we ate, ooops haha but was soo good. We will Most definitely be back. Ordering the sampler gives you a good mix of different pierogis to try, they were all delicious. Honestly don't think you can order a bad thing here.

Taste like homemade food your grandma would make. Traditional polish food with some new takes on pierogi flavors. Schnitzel cooked perfectly and flavorful with mashed potatoes and cooked cabbage. Cabbage has a nice paprika taste to it

I have a dairy allergy and had a really frustrating experience at Pierogi Village. I asked if the borscht contained dairy, and was told it did--surprising, since it's a vegetable-based soup and usually only includes sour cream as a topping. I was fine skipping the sour cream, but they said dairy was in the soup itself, which eliminated that option. When I asked what I could eat, the staff member began listing everything I couldn't eat--which was almost everything, including the pierogies and potatoes. Frustrating because I don't want to hear what I can't eat...She eventually recommended the sausage sandwich, saying the sausage itself didn't contain dairy. I then asked about the bread, and she said, "I don't know." Not exactly reassuring for someone with a food allergy. I ended up eating only the sausage, I paid $14.50 bucks for it. Even then, I'm the grilled onions were sautéed in butter based on taste and texture... which raises real concerns about cross-contamination and kitchen practices. I ended up taking allergy medicine and not eating the rest of my meal. This restaurant is not a good choice for anyone with a dairy allergy or who follows a dairy-free or vegan diet. Staff seemed poorly trained on ingredients and allergy accommodations, and I left feeling frustrated and unsafe. Please consider better staff training and offering at least one safe, clearly dairy-free option on the menu. Other than that.. the staff was polite friendly etc..just not knowledgeable on the preparation or ingredients of their food.. I recommend keeping the labels from products, sauces, etc used.. and showing the front house staff how food is prepared so they can help people. I won't be coming back but my dad loves the borscht and pierogis. Sad I can't join my family when they go here.

Tried 6 pierogi: meat, duck w/ plum, jalapeño & cheese + Big Polish Plate with kielbasa & stuffed cabbage.

We had dinner tonight at Pierogi Village and were blown away by both the food and the atmosphere. From the moment you step inside, you're transported to what feels like a charming Eastern European kitchen--brightly colored, floral tablecloths, hand-painted furniture, and a display of traditional décor that adds so much warmth and authenticity. (See attached photo for a glimpse--it's adorable and inviting!) We Tried 6 pierogi: meat, duck w/ plum, jalapeño & cheese + Big Polish Plate with kielbasa & stuffed cabbage.. Every bite was amazing . You can tell everything is made with love and pride. After you've had your fill on savory pirogies, get yourself their sweet cheese and raspberry filled pirogies!!! Ate it before snapping a pic. Sorry Service was friendly and fast. Truly felt like we were with family. If you're looking for an unpretentious, homey spot with food that feels like a hug--this is it. We'll definitely be back!

This was the first time I've eaten Polish food, and it's what I'd imagine Polish home cooking to taste like. I got the borscht soup with 3 pierogis while my friend got 3 pierogis and stuffed cabbage. Out of the 3 pierogis I ordered (duck and plum sauce pierogi, potato cheese pierogi, and sauerkraut meat mushroom pierogi), my favorite was the potato cheese. Borscht soup had a mild flavor. Stuffed cabbage tasted alright to me, but my friend enjoyed it. Parking was easy, and the interior was so cute! It looks like you're able to order frozen pierogis to go if you choose!

I'm legitimately tearing up writing this because Elena is probably one of THEE sweetest people I've…read moreever met and really cares about the business and quality of service and food. She was so warm and welcoming and explained their menu, answered my questions about the beers available and gave me the best lunch experience I could ask for. July I was just in Paris so I ordered the dinner size beef bourguignon and it was DELICIOUS. Very tender and flavorful and melt on your mouth. Lean meat that wasn't mostly fat and the reduction was to die for. Came with obviously hand prepared mashed potatoes which made me close my eyes. I love a good potato. Especially mashed. I also ordered a lager and tried the ice cream as well as the sourdough (sourced from Italy and baked in house) I don't know what more I could have asked for. We even had a great chat. I don't believe anything happens by chance in life and I'm glad my path finally aligned me here. See you next week!

And now I know why. Hubby and I tried this restaurant this week and are already anxious to return. It is a small site with nine tables located in a strip mall. The decor is lovely and you feel very welcome and cozy. It is easy to find and has plenty of parking. We ordered chicken paprikash and beef bourguignon for our entrees. Both were fantastic. Hubby said his bourguignon is better and for the sake of my marriage, I'll agree. For you Yelpers, there is not much difference between his and theirs, especially since you'll never taste his. Both were outstanding. And who would think that a couple slices of sour dough bread with herbed butter can be that delicious? I've NEVER had better sour dough bread. This went so well with a nice Bordeaux that we ordered along with the potato pancakes with smoked salmon. I am so anxious to go back and try other entrees. Debora was our server and she was on top of her game, even as busy as the restaurant was. She was so personable and sincerely smiled throughout our lunch. To Bites of Europe management and staff . . . thank you for a most lovely lunch and best wishes for your continued success. Please consider opening at 11:00 am AND expanding your restaurant. Everything was absolutely outstanding.
