Fish was kinda soggy and tasted like oil. Not crispy at all.

The place is super cool. Small cozy but perfect size. Outside seating in front and the neat little area on the side where I sat. World Cup was on and the vibe was awesome. The girl that took my order was super friendly. The problem was the food. Maybe the oil wasn't hot enough because my fish tacos tasted like they were soaked in oil. Same situation with my wife's fish and chips. Pretty disappointing just based on location and vibe. Hope it's and isolated incident. The Mexican Cokes somehow make everything better though!

One of the best fish tacos me and my parents have had! Great view of the beach at a great location. Great service and great prices especially for the amount and portion u get and u gotta try there potato tacos!

Bait & Switch! Menu advertises a Surf & Turf Burrito with Shrimp + choice of additional meat for $16.00. I've ordered this burrito many times and been charged the menu price. Today they added an additional $2 charge "for shrimp". I was told the owner now requires an additional charge because there are "two meats". What's going on here?

What started as just another business day turned into such a fun food find. We were starving, craving something different, and on the way to the beach I spotted this little place tucked in among all the others nearby. My cousin had been here before, but the rest of us were first-timers, so choosing what to order was not easy because honestly, everything sounded good. Thankfully, my cousin told us to try the Parmesan-dusted tacos--and wow, that was the move. They were super crunchy, packed with flavor, and the kind of thing you just keep reaching for. I'd come back for those alone and definitely bring more people with me next time. We also tried the pastor street tacos and the asada nachos, which were tasty, but the Parmesan-dusted tacos were the real standout. Seriously, those are the reason I'll be coming back. It was a amazing day to sit outside enjoying the ocean breeze and sun shinning.

Worth the drive from the SCV! We've been here multiple times and it always slaps! We noticed a few new items on the menu. But still pretty simple. Not overwhelming at all. It's a little small. But I like it. Service is great all the time.

The tacos here are absolutely delicious! They also have specials going on, excellent prices and generous portions! Located right by the beach, this is the ideal casual spot to grab some food. Service is wonderful, they are very hard-working here and the food was ready quickly. We tried a variety of their tacos and all of them were absolutely delicious! Don't forget to grab some of their homemade salsa to finish it off perfectly. Highly recommended if you are looking for fresh and authentic Mexican food in the area!

I didn't know I needed scallop tacos in my life...but consider me obsessed. These scallops were the size of what I expect to get in fine dining restaurants (and never get!). The scallops were cooked perfectly so the texture was amazing. The flavors were all fresh and the green salsa topped everything off with mild spice. Can't wait to go back

Had such a great experience at Pierpont Tacos in Ventura! I went there with my son and everything about it was fantastic. The tacos were absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with Love. But what really stood out was the people. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit even better. It's one of those spots that just feels good to be at. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

What a GEM near Ventura. I was looking Spey for seafood tacos and found this place on Yelp. When I read that they had scallop tacos, I was sold. Parking is a BEAR, so be prepared to walk. The people at the nearby restaurant are not friendly at all and will watch you to make sure you don't park in their lot. The food here was to die for. The sauces are made in-house and each item is so carefully prepared. My partner and I shared a variety of tacos and EVERYTHING was good. Highly recommend the soft-shell crab and the scallops. Shocked that the scallops were diver size and not bay scallops. Amazing amazing amazing food. Can't wait to revisit.

Been wanting to try this place for too long and finally went on a sunny afternoon for lunch! Just what you need, a beachside casual little taco spot. I wanted to try the scallop tacos after seeing so many great reviews about them. I ordered a grilled shrimp taco and a scallop taco, the guy working was so sweet and I told him to put them on whatever tortillas he recommended. We sat outside on the small patio area and food came quickly. Loved the variety of salsas. Must've been a mix-up because my taco came with cheese (requested without) and on a flour tortilla instead of corn, but not the end of the world!! The scallops were good, not amazing, Id love to try something else next time. Shrimp was delicious and perfectly cooked, def my favorite. My partner loved his fried fish tacos. His potato taco was super cheesy and indulgent. Cute spot and would love to come back and try some of the breakfast options!

I've thought about returning several times over the course of the last year, but never did until tonight. Turns out nothing has changed, still good food, still loud AF. This time I had a Taco al Pastor. It was excellent, with soft, flavorful meat topped with onions, cilantro and a slice of pina. My wife had a Fish taco, which was impressively large. I suspect that fish taco was every bit as excellent as my pastor taco because my wife didn't offer me a bite, as she usually does. We had been talking nonstop since we sat down, but when the tacos arrived the conversation ended. All I could think was, damn, I gotta finish this taco before she asks me for a bite. I imagine she was thinking the same thing. What I didn't have to worry about was sharing the guacamole and tortilla chips. The serving size of the guacamole is easily enough for two people. And the tortilla chips, same generous serving size. The chips are good too, not the boring chips one encounters all too frequently at other places. I was also impressed by the Horchata here. Way above average. Creamy and rich AF. If you aren't having a beer, you definitely should check out the Horchata. And dog, they've got all kinds of beers up in here! I mean, yeah, cold local beers and even happy hour discounts! Gaw! So, yeah, I love this place. I just wish it wasn't so freaking loud. Maybe next time I visit I'll wear my noise cancelling headphones. Mikey C says: if it's too loud, you're too old. True dat.

First off, the parking here is a nightmare. I literally got boxed in and had to ask someone to move their car so I could back out. Secondly, me and my coworker stop here at 11:30am for an early lunch. There is literally 1 other person there who had already ordered and got their meal just as me and my coworker sit down after ordering. We ordered 7 tacos in total... 30 minutes later the food still hadn't arrived. I finally go up to the counter to see if something was wrong and the guy had no idea about our order and said he was sorry that they had a big catering order. As a former business owner I do understand that stuff happens and a large catering order is good for business but ultimately that isn't the customers problem. Especially the customer that is sitting there at your establishment. Rather than tell us while we were ordering that it might take longer than normal, they don't communicate anything and then don't even address the issue until I go up there to complain. Once that happened the tacos came out in less than 5 minutes which is even more upsetting since this is how fast they should have come out to begin with. The gentleman who I think was an owner did apologize and try to offer some free drinks which I politely declined as I knew I'd never be back again. I hope that this business learns to service the customers properly that are actually dining there and if there is an issue at least takes some initiative to address it on the front side. Most working class people only get a 30-45 minute lunch to begin with so it wasn't cool that we literally wasted 30 minutes just sitting there with no explanation. There are plenty of other good places around Ventura for lunch - especially for tacos. Won't be going back here ever.
